Made a comment saying “ Your life must be easy because you are pretty , drive a nice car , work out and have a well paying job “ Also made a comment say “ I will humble you one day “ . He would make comments about my looks saying what you would think was positive but it wasn’t , because the look on face was almost like he hated that about me. Not to be stereotypical, but my ex husband (also Nigerian) was the same way. I was the skinniest I ever was in my life (even went down a shoe size) and he still poked at my body. Making comments such as “you can stand to loose that” referring to my stomach. The art of projection is real but also those feelings that projections put inside of you. It’s a false sense of fear but we are insecure people, no matter how great we look. Glad she got out because I sure did. Best decision ever.
