It’s almost insulting how intensely Shultz throws his fake ass laugh in the face of his guests. It’s so obviously fake and overplayed

He's wired, all the time. If I was in a room with Andrew Schulz, I would be outside of that room within 3 minutes.
The moment when he asked about parties and Maniscalco says his wife's idea of a party was different from his and his laugh was so over the top it was ridiculous.
I love how Maniscalco looks around like wtf is going on here

So did Shane, it was hard to watch.

Very true
Amazing quote. Definitely feeling like I need to apply this right now.
That is a gay quote. Just don’t listen to a podcast if you don’t want to. Then putting it out doesn’t overexpose them. Most people release 1 or 2 hours a week

They are great stand comedies who we could hold in the same light … it’s just Schultz is no where near that
Schultz to stand up is what Larry Flynt was to standing up

These guys clearly have disdain for normal people. It's so annoying to watch.
It’s sickening tbh
I'm sure you're aware of Tom Segura going off on the "poors".
They just can't believe a popular wealthy celebrity ISN'T a narcissistic pretentious black hOle. Their responses are VERY telling.
its telling that they hate supposed liberal elites, but have this active disdain for working class people. Bragging about Airport lounge access and first class and high end hotels and complaining about the quality of the amenities of a bougie air b&b’s etc.
When will they realize they ARE the normal people.
Shulz's laugh at 11:04 is honestly soul destroying. What even is that sound?

Heh heh heh heh BLEHHHHHHHHHHH IHHHHH

Andrew's laugh would actually be funny if he kept it going for 15 seconds without breaking eye contact. Nightmare fuel XD
11:05 this you mean.
Yeah if every laugh was like the one 11 minutes in, I would unironically be a flagrant fan.
I genuinely don’t understand how Andrew can have an audience who listens to a podcast of him constantly flexing while being cringe and unlikeable
He had a good Netflix short special during Covid I think. I remember watching it, was really good but yeah he’s annoying
There are way more simpletons in this world with bad taste than we can imagine....
Tom Segura is even worse, not sure how he still has an audience.
the guys laughs before there is a "joke" just talking about a situation is an excuse for him to ...basically act out
Because he talks about what we want to hear about. No banking episodes just raw unfiltered. If u don’t like him that’s fine, but no one really cares
Shane grew up a regular person, Andrew was always a rich NYC kid
Not just rich, but from a politically connected family that can just fix things for him so there's no authenticity in any facet of his life
Dictionary Definition of “Irony”
“Andrew Schulz calling Steiny fake and insecure”
Schulz with the classic pocket watching
Schultz being flabbergasted that Sebastian likes spending time with his kids and wife lol
Schultz is 40 years old but acts like a high schooler who meets his idol for the first time. Schultz thinks every rich celebrity has wild parties and huge orgies with drugs everywhere lol
Sebastian really strikes me as a genuinely good person and I kept withering on the inside every time Andrew would speak in some classless way.
Exactly my thoughts. Even the Gillis callback gave me the same vibe and I used to be a AS fan. Haven’t listened too often since the new setup
Sébastien has been a favorite of mine since he first dropped and this is a good example of why. He is hilarious but outclasses most other guys around him.
You also noticed? "HAEHHAHAAAAEEE!!!" 👅👅👅
Schulz is a man child.
Apparently you never seen him complain about street vendors trying to make a living.
That conversation should go down in the hall of fame of Small Talk wtf?
Man I just couldn’t stop slapping my damn foot on the floor and slapping my arm chair when I was asked about my belt buckle. OMG here I go again uncontrollable laughter
Andrew basically said, "my stand up can suck because I make enough money from podcasting."
Yeah it used to be the opposite comedians had podcasts to attract crowds for their stand up show. Now they want viral clips to attract people to their podcasts
It’s why I never watch the stand up of the comedians that have a podcast I watch. The podcast is always 10x better than their shitty stand up routine
That's exactly what he said. They're all cool with this, they're hacks cashing out while the getting is good. These guys' "legacy" will be that they're terrible comedians who were able to weasel their way into a payday via podcasting.

I became a fan of Schulz in 2021 when he really blew up for his crowd work, but now I do find him annoying with his fake laughter and not letting his guests finish what they’re gonna say.

Sebastian seems like such a good person honestly, his approach to his work and life in general are really admirable. Love what he said about needing to live life in order to turn it into comedy, it’s a thing I don’t think a lot of comics actually think of once they become successful. Jamie Foxx has always preached it. People like Eddie Murphy and Jerry Seinfeld have become progressively less funny over the course of their careers, after they became millionaires
Yeah that's how it works comedians gets millions becomes less funny.

Maniscalco's comment at 18:15 is an especially ironic one for Schulz: "There's no way you [can] make an entrance if you never leave the room." I think this summarizes the issues with some of these chronically online, always podcasting "comedians". While their peers are working to deliver a single an hour of high quality content every year or so, these podcasters continue to churn out low-value, uninspired content that hurts their comedic brand and only looks worse when compared to their contemporaries. I really hope that some of these guys (like Schulz) can gain a bit of humility and return to working hard to make quality content, but I fear that this requires a level of self-reflection that is beyond their capabilities. Thanks for the great content as always, you continue to kill it with your analysis and production value Podcast Cringe!
Yet another display of obnoxious delusion and unbridled narcissism from Schulz. Props to Mani for being able to tolerate such a grotesque display of ego in lieu of talent and thoughtful/prepared conversation. These podcast comics really are the most overrated, undeserving Make-A-Wish kids in all of comedy. The younger generations truly celebrate some mediocre, wack shit in every area of entertainment. I honestly don't get it. Thanks as always for exposing the cringe, sir.

"There's no way you can make an entrance if you never leave the room."
What a fucking line.
Schultz is a scientific comedian, like a computer simulator. He operates on statistics. Schultz for instance learned that loud equals funny. So he fakes loudness to get the effect. What he does not realize is that it is obvious and wears out fast. It’s not a strategy to live your career by, it’s just one of many tools you can use for comedic punctuation.
It's like when you learn something new, you only know how to do one or two things so all you do is those things. Schulz is just riding on the fake it til you make it mentality whilst never learning anything else.
He’s a provocateur. I can’t imagine someone watching a full podcast of his…seems excruciating. He knows it’s all about cutting up the clips and he’s so animated in those clips. It works for the algorithm…probably gets people commenting and adds engagement.

I'm a mover and typically rich people have very expensive furniture. Im talking 50k-250k custom couches and 100k rugs. Hell i did one the other day where they had a 30k matress, with a custom bed with wings (its an attachment that hooks from the headboard behind the nightsands and in some cases attaches to the nightstands to give it a floating look) but those few items are over 200k, then you bring in the custom wood or marble tables or the 12 dining chairs that cost 15k each as well as the two chairs in all of their living rooms that cost 25k each and you soon tealize why they rent furniture from consignment stores for 10k because of that furniture gets messed up you can buy it for what it costs for one of the dining chairs. It really is rich ppl stuff. Btw, im a mover exclusively for wealthy customers in Park City, Utah. Most jobs are in promotory, the canyons aka white pine (very, very wealthy people), and now Red ledges (a community the super rich buy homes at when they wanna play golf at). I mean theres so many more like Deer Crest, Tubaye, or upper Deer Valley.
It’s so tough watching someone like Schultz who despite however you feel about him, he is talented. But that talent becomes irrelevant when he tries to come across as this know-it-all. I don’t understand why he acts like this. The narrator does a wonderful job pointing all this out. It’s like comedians hit a certain level and think they’ve become infallible, which couldn’t be further from the truth.
Loved the video, thank you.
Talented at what? Screeching like a hyena? Cause it's sure not at comedy
@@cotopaximusic His ability to think on the fly while he’s doing crowd work is definitely talent. Are you familiar with his standup or just podcasting, if only podcasting, you should see his crowd work, he’s very quick witted. His standup is not for me either honestly, but I can appreciate when someone is witty enough to be able to think on their feet like that. Don’t get me wrong, the dude is super high on himself, which is tough to watch on screen.
And the worst part of all is how he laughs at his own jokes, that’s not only on the podcast, he does that on stage.
