The PTSD and internal screaming I went through while watching this as a cellist this was so painful btw the bridge can be remade and re attached just takes around 2 months
This is a little late but you didn’t break it. The bridge just came off. The sound board may have fallen off but it won’t be a big deal. Just take it to a repair shop for instruments and they should fix it for free. (This has happened to me before) Maybe, buy a hard case for better protection so this doesn’t continue to happen (Make sure to hand them the bridge)
I had been requesting this in the comments since I have been playing for 6 years, I can understand the pain you must have felt when it broke because mine did at one point as well. BUT as I and a few others have been waiting for this instrument can you please *promise* to get it fixed and make atleast one more video with it for all the cello players? Please?
As cello player i can tell you youre basically fine just get a new brige but in not sure but it appears that there is a crack on youre instrument so its really not that hard to fix if you got a new brige it would mostly works but the crack from the bottom to the fhole might make it sound out of tune and also check if youre aound post fell out its a little cylinder peice of wood in you instrument just look in the fhole i would recommend going to somesort of agop hope this helps 😁
Cellos are very breakable. I don’t want to type everything I’ve personally run into, but most issues involve using the peg tuners at the top, the bridge (misalignment, warping, the couple of times bridges randomly flew off of my cello in the middle of rehearsal in elementary school - still not sure what caused it haha), or the fine tuners. Also, don’t drop them lol Reminds me I need to see a luthier, half of my bow hair is gone. Thanks Couple more things - if you search up a rockstop, you can hold the endpin in place without scratching the floor, and you don’t have to worry about that slipping either. Also, if you lay the cello on its side you don’t risk it falling over. Just retract the end pin and be careful not to bump into it. Better yet, get a hard case for some protection. Because holy hell that thing needs it 😂
I know how to fix it!!!! the white wooden thingy must've fallen off, put it back where it was and put the strings on it, then tighten the strings a bit, and it's fixed!!!!!!!!!! The wooden thingy also fell off my cello, but it got fixed
Might wanna take it into a shop because not only did the bridge snap in half, the strings are completely destroyed, and the little neck that holds the fine tuners isn't supposed to be moving around like that
