    Hi, I just wanted to say good review but when compared to the high torque of the scram 411 will the V-strom pull well with a 50 kg passenger and 15 to 17 kg luggage while touring more than 2000 km in a week? Would be really grateful for an honest answer as I am stuck between the scram and 250. Also, if you have a suggestion of your own would absolutely appreciate that. Btw I am just 5 ft 2 in. Also, a factor😅😅

      Hi. Both bikes are very good options for touring and for your requirements. AS for your height, I presume you will be more comfortable with the Scram 411. But do take a test ride to decide which one works best for you.

      1. Much better power
      2. Easy cruise @100
      3. Almost no vibration
      4. Engine doesn't knocks at lower rpm and higher gear - helpful in city ride.
      5. Very much fuel efficient (35-city like Bangalore, 41-highway)
      These were my reason to buy the bike over dominar and ktm

      @@saswatsenapati7870 Glad you're enjoying the bike. It's a good bike, no doubt. If only it was a little less expensive and had more suspension travel... Then it would have been very easy to recommend for sure.

      @@BoraPreetam suspension is a point but till date of my use I haven't feel that it's a bad suspension setup. On paper yes it's worst for price range but on real world with some mild offroads haven't faced but issue, infact would say I faced more issue with saddling, handlbar raisers are must.
      About price, on road price can be reduced by 20k if dealt properly with the dealer, i know few people who didn't take jacket+added old bike return (just need the insurance paper) to get a better deal. Infact I got it for 2.3L onroad
      If looking for tourer there is no better value for money option in the segment.

    I have a question. What tyres can I fit in the Suzuki? I ask this in comparison with the Himalayan, which can fit rear and front, Dunlop trail Max; but I can't find a rear double purpose tyre for Suzuki.
    Thanks.

      The MRF Mogrip Meteor-M tyres come standard in the VStrom SX. In our experience, these tyres are pretty good, better than the Ceat Gripp offered on the Himalayan and the XPulse. You can also look at Reise Moto trailR tyres as an option, if you want better traction.

    V-Strom all the way, Scram is cheap attempt at cashing in by RE. Not even tubeless tyres are offered. And the suspension is pathetic at high speeds and wobbles and nose dives on highways. And there is the reliability, the Himalyan chassis breaks into two, Scram is no different

      IT is this kind of blind fan boyism that helps RE thrive.

    @carandbike , scram 411's suspension is excellent for both pillion and rider at the desirable speeds, the way it's suspension behaves is tremendous.. I have this and i admire the suspension of this. You should have elaborated a little more about this..

    • @BoraPreetam
      @BoraPreetam ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Yes, the Scram's suspension is plush, and comfortable, like you said. But its chassis could have been better. Straight-line stability is fine, but it's the rebound rate which could have been better. The Suzuki's suspension may have less travel, but its chassis is excellent, which translates to you, the rider, feeling more in control, no matter the conditions. We can certainly deep dive and make a 30-minute video, but as is the experience, less is more. So, we have to make shorter, crisper length videos, while packing in as much info as possible. But noted, will keep your feedback in mind, for future. Thank you for watching.

    Suzuki is not at all an adventure tourer....If suzuki will hit the pothole at the speed of 100 it will throw you out the seat or there may be a bad crash....Toh fir kahe ka adventure tourer.... Suspension is shit.

      @BoraPreetam ปีที่แล้ว +2

      This happens when u r a biased re fan. Have you ever test ridden v strom? If not then shut your mouth
      Though there is very less travel on suspension but the tyres and chassis manages it very well
      It’s gliding over bad patches and rumblers with ease at higher speeds
