It is because of the excuse of “he/she is rich so let’s make exceptions “ na why the world dey the way e dey…true the rich are or should be entitled to some privileges but that doesn’t excuse that fact that if they do what is wrong it should also be excused ….if you wanna marry a man/woman despite the fact that he has multiple women/men then that’s not a problem as long as that’s what you want and that’s what makes you happy but in situations like this general exceptions should not be made.

Naomis views are scary. If she really means what she is saying, she might be setting herself for a roller coaster of heart breaks due to infatuation. Her views about men are unreal, to say the least. She is so willing to excuse a man's behavior because he is rich and famous. Until you get involved and enjoy the fame, then you demand fidelity and commitment and then the man can't give you and tears begin to roll
Naomi's views are consistently scary. I would even say, they are not well informed for a good number of episodes. Frankly Speaking should seriously consider replacing her.

Marriage is important. People that say marriage is not an achievement only say it to console themselves. Now and days people jump in and out of marriage because of lack of courtship. If you marry a good man or woman then you've achieved one of the greatest things. You've achieved a clear and bright future. No deceive yourself. E be like who no pass jamb Wei dey claim poly is better.
Naomi's views and reasonings are crazily poor. So much interests on wealth, status and connections. Wealth, status, to her makes some men more superior than the rest. Forgetting that she can be a Davido or Ooni's wife without peace of mind. Omo if you dont have peace of mind with your partner, partner's family and friends, wealth, status or connections will mean nothing. Solomon had it all but still called them vanity. I see her having heart breaks back to back bc of her views or school of thoughts

Naomi fail to put her point about Davido across well but I totally get her point. What she actually trying to say about how some men of status can be excused is that, its like a pain threshold, everybody has a limit to the amount pain they can tolerate. Its the same with a man's resistance to women, you can resist women to a point but sometimes it's beyond you. Now the number and caliber of women who through themselves at a man of status if far more than a 9 to 5 average Joe so that increases the probability of the man of status cheating. So for a man of status even if you're loyal and principled, there are times you may fall. That is why prominent men cheat with prominent pastors being no exception. If a 1000 women throw themselves at davido every day and only 1 girl throws herself at the average Joe, As for the average joe what is his excuse as to why he couldn't resist.
This is really a Frankly-speaking podcast; my new favourite way to unwind.

Naomi is very bold, saying her view even though it's not wildly accepted. It's easy to bash Naomi for her view point but really, a lot of women thinks like her.
Even the people that knows in their heart of heart that they have same views as her, will come to the comment session to bash her.

I needed to listen to this podcast. I remember all the pressures I went through when I was younger just cause marriage was seen as what should complete a woman. I became a doctor and it didn’t even matter in the grand scheme of things. A lot of the career goals I had post graduation were slowed cos my family thought I should put more effort into getting married. I left Nigeria in my efforts to escape the pressure and continue my career my advancement. I also put effort into making sure I position myself to get married but nothing worked out. I must confess that at some point I was desperate due to pressures but that didn’t get me married too cos to be honest even in my desperation there are some deal beakers I would never manage plus I am a hopeless romantic too. Anyways, I am still not married, I am doing so well in my career, I hope to get married cos I want to do life with somebody and I am a hopeless romantic but my desperation is out the door 😊.

The desperation for Mrs is mostly caused by societal pressure tbh. I believe everyone would enjoy companionship, but for we ladies, there is this 'biological Clock' factor that puts a timeline to it. Plus the way men seem to love women in their prime also adds to the pressure
It's mostly caused by the biological factor, the fear that women have that they won't be able to lock down commitment from a man, in order to guarantee survival for themselves and their offsprings. Societal pressure comes second to that
its a good interactive section but more order is needed to be applied so that people can express their view without been interrupted.and they failed to establish some points about desperation which can lead to deceit,backstabbing,betrayal among friends especcially the female gender including diabolical practices.i rest my case.

It's really educative and refreshing how we all learn everyday...it's a show so I wouldn't condemn anybody.. but Naomi's views on how some men should be treated basic on the status quo is wrong and gives wrong impression... rather I will say it's best you dive into what makes you happy and forget what people say about it. If being a second or tenth wife makes you happy do it but don't be a hypocrite while doing.... Another question which was asked about virginity... True be said being a virgin really affect how you think and how you stay with other people or gender... Which in turn can affect your views of life... Shaaaa. I agree with Naomi when she said there should be exceptions to men who have power and influence because they can handle it. Some men have good prick and they use it very well & that’s the power they have to hold ladies down (but good prick won’t hold them forever sha, money will still need to play it’s part).

On desperation to be a Mrs- I believe that everyone has the desire to be with a long term companion. But it appears that women are desperate because they are often raised with the end goal of becoming someones wife. Men are raised to be "the man" and take charge, so they often have a head start with gaining financial independence and can decide to remain single. Things are changing with women now working, but the undertones are still there in society - a woman with money and a good job/business but no husband may not get appreciated or respected as a full person.
