Mehn!! This topic is very interesting & triggering too as i can see from the comments section, people are throwing jabs at the visitor based on her take! however, i do not agree fully with nedu's full point on the female not having substance(tangible) just because you went on a reality Show or beacuse you are female celeb and automatically u're labelled!! Yes packaging/ positioning is essential to attract great prospects/ endorsement or influencing,but it should not be overly done just to please people( nigeria terms) Packaging, positioning, hardwork & branding the concept are all encompassing to make a successful story! So far as you have something to give(substance over form) U're good to go!! Pple are mistaken packaging for fake life as it's a term that has been bastardized based on it been a slang is why doyin's takes is been dissected wrongly!! Get it together guys!! Packaging is one of the 5Ps' of marketing, so it's useful!
Now that I've watched the whole video, I know that people cut some part to just form narratives

The reason I believe the things nedu says is because gistlover have already exposed a considerable amount of these said people before. He is in the industry and has seen it all,even Alibaba narrated his experiences last year on his Instagram live. But out of respect,it's better not to mention any names. Doyin cannot relate cos she already had the money before coming to the platform.

First of all I love this Honest Bunch Podcast. Secondly... Lemme share my experience... So... I stay on the Island, Chevron Lekki Precisely. Story short, I realized that the moment I say "oh... I stay on the Island, Chevy view estate..." People start seeing me as some Lekki Big girl... Omo... I had to make it clear ooo... Told them... See, nor be me dey pay my rent ooo... Na my sister and her hubby I dey stay with... I still dey hustle my hustle normal. I have a lot of things I do currently that brings me money. Nor be say I go come dey use " I stay in Chevron, I'm a Lekki Big girl" pursue my helper... Omo... Btw Thanks Nedu you are always speaking sense.

Packaging and faking it, its not the same thing. Packaging is making or designing what you have to be more attractive or presentable. Eg. Borrowing a suit for job interview or a lady who has interest in attracting a brand or men equipping herself with the necessary accessories like clothings and even up to surgery to attract the kind of market she wants.
Now fake it, is you putting up an appearance or an illusion of what is not there. Eg portraying to have the required expertise and experience for a job or "na Grace and hardwork o" while you are into kidnapping and clitocurrency.

Not Doyin Setting people up for failure. its giving rush.. What is yours is your..There is not need to package or pretend. Patience in Life is the most valuable virtue.. But nobody wants to hear that.
Doyin keeps missing a point. You must have something(knowledge, substance, job, etc) before you can package. What you have is what you position with a brand of package that can fetch you that money/fame/stardom.
I celebrate you guys for creating this platform which is both entertaining and educative. Learning, unlearning and relearning for both personal and career/professional development and #TheHonestBunch platform has given us that.
Learning there's a very thin line between fake life and packaging (can I add branding?) and making sure one has substance to offer and something you can always fall back to, while your work hard and trust the process, is truly uplifting and reassuring.

Husband material is such a brilliant guy, I’m not the type that watch TV shows or movies. All I watch on tv is soccer & NBA. But I came across frankly speaking on youtube since then I watch this podcast every night. I’ve watch some of the episodes more than 10 times. Naomi & Toun is fantastic, also the big boss with all the experience. Awesome effort from y’all. Keep up the good works. Cheers
