The Honest Bunchis an audio-visual podcast that focuses on discussing real millennial and Gen z issues with no holds barred.
There are 4 main personalities on the show - Nedu, Husband Material, Deity Cole, and Naomi. The cast members bring their unique individual personalities and wit to the show. Occasionally, a guest is brought on to share opinions on topics tailored to their experiences, interests, or personalities.
At Honest bunch, we are telling original Nigerian realities from the lens of the youth.
The show is stupendously funny, inconceivably revealing, somewhat shocking, and yet unequivocally informative.

Ada’s mindset is beautiful and she’s rare. I love her.
I was raised in a family were my dad and mom backed each other up. My dad cooked whenever he comes home before my mom and she does the same. All these gender role isn’t a problem for me, respect and understanding is vital.

This podcast is very informative and the guest is speaking sense. Women are very powerful but we limit our power just because we want to be like a man. Our strength is in our softness, our feminine energy. As a woman use your softness it’s stronger than the strongest man in this world.

Gender roles should not be rigid just take care of each other. Every human have both feminine and masculine energy so the situation you find yourself in will determine which energy to bring.

Women need to understand that it’s never a problem for men when given the traditional role of provider. Men accepted it and hustle daily to maintain that till this very day. But this generation of women refused to accept their own traditional role of taking care of their family, man, cooking etc. Funny how ladies no longer want to be traditional but still want men to remain traditional. The world is changing but men being loved on the condition they provide still remains the same 😂. Ona never serious shaa

I've watched this from the very first episode. I'm a fan.
Quick remark, Nedu makes the worst arguments. All over the place. Contradicts himself constantly. Projects his personal experiences and biases onto a broad demographic and prefaces it with "let's be honest with ourselves", "let's not kid ourselves". Your experiences represent a truth about your environment, but it's not the only truth.
He will acknowledge the nuance of a matter and almost in the next breath completely ignore that context and revert to generalizing based on his deep seated biases. Any response that doesn't confirm his own beliefs is 'cap/politically correct/etc..' And there's almost always no meaningful pushback. Can be frustrating.

Well, my take on this topic is that; y’all should understand that because the roles are specifically pinned to each sexes doesn’t mean it’s right or wrong.. no role is for nobody, the roles were normalized from the beginning & because it’s Normalized doesn’t make it right.. in a relationship, you should talk about these things before getting into it. Assign all the physical roles to each person. There’s no need to fight over what you know agreed as ur role.. any day you can’t do it ask your partner for assistance or leave it‘ perioddddddddd.

It’s a natural thing for a man to provide and still help out with chores, i do not see anything wrong with that, it only becomes a problem when your partner takes advantage of you and is only with you because you provide and do all she needs.

Man money is our money while women money is her money
You guys are so forward to remind us not to look at what a woman is earning and also you want a man that can afford your needs and take care of the home and bills and then you wan a man to share house responsibilities with you other than help
I believe these arguments should come with peculiarities of how your marriage and relationship is built
Those house chores are how mothers bond with kids if you leave it for the man then don’t complain when your children take sides with their father
