There's no basis for justifying paternity fraud. It is psychologically devastating especially to the man . Toun actually takes time to analyse the matter at hand and she is very objective rather than taking sides , and avoiding the facts.

  • @oliviavcarter

Please remember and consider the fact that the whole issue of fraud doesn't only affect the adults. Sometimes kids end up marrying siblings. These things cause psychological and emotional trauma. They grow up planning to migrate to be with their dads and paternity tests required by the embassy shatter the child's world. The hands that rock the cradle rule the world. One doesn't justify the next. If there is doubt, test it out. Love ya'll. Good to hear Naomi change her mind in the end. Nice one sis.

One thing I’ll point out here that they should be careful with - one of them mentioned a woman should leave a man because he’s “shooting blanks” and that not making him “man enough”. That’s very toxic. We don’t want to call women that can’t get pregnant “not woman enough” and suggest men leave them. That girl needs to learn accountability

Thinking about this and conversations about Prenup comes to mind. Ladies say Prenup conversation is disrespectful. DNA conversation is disrespectful. Marriage itself is a contract. A lot of T&C's needs to be addressed.. People have used "Love" to blurr so much common sense. Let's love with our hearts and figure things out with our brains. People should get married to individuals that think and see life from the same point of view. It's simple. There is no excuse for paternity fraud. No excuse to stay in a toxic relationship where cheating is the norm.

I know we as men joke that accountability is women's kryptonite, and rather die than hold themselves accountable for their own poor decisions that affect then and other people negatively, but this is just ridiculous. How can you respond to paternity fraud with.. "get over it" "your life isn't over cuz u are taking care of a kid that isn't yours"... Imagine if a woman gets raped and a man says "get over it your life inst over cuz someone forcefully had sex with you". These women disgust me

I think DNA tests should be a normal routine in hospitals. To save victims the stress I’m the next 20years. Because if DNA test was a normal procedure in hospitals, nobody will have a cause to disagree with it or say it’s disrespectful. So to save fathers that might fall victim of Paternity fraud the stress, let’s all do a test as a normal procedure. Just to be sure that both parents are parents of the child. SELAH!

Hahahahaha! I have been laughing since the beginning of this show. Well well, according to a lawyer… in Igbo customary law, if a man’s wife goes and gets pregnant for a different man (while married), that child belongs to her husband even though he isn’t the biological father. And this goes the same for the wife when she finds out he impregnates a different woman.
The truth is paternity fraud is wrong. No justification to it. It breaks heart and families.
However, let’s remember that kids are involved… even if you must get a divorce, would you abandon a child who already calls you father?
I won’t blame any man that does though cos I have no idea how I will feel if it were me.

To be honest with ourselves when a woman gets pregnant there is no way she won’t remember all the people she had sex with which could have resulted to that pregnancy be it her husband or if she is cheating .
So her not wanting to think about it or calculating when the last sex occurred is her own decision to either defraud her partner or have faith that the child is for her partner (lol)...

If paternity fraud is a crime, then it should be a crime for a married man to have kids out of wedlock . It should also be a crime for a spouse to infect his/her spouse with an sti

I'm totally in shock as to what Naomi and keira is saying though. Cheating is a related topic but totally different from paternity fraud!. It's the same way you would be shocked to know your husband has other kids outside. Then again, that's the spice to the show.

Everybody keeps talking about how the women or men feel. The big question actually is...HOW DO YOU EXPECT THE CHILD TO FEEL? Especially when they are old enough to know what is right from wrong. We can do better.

Comparing paternity fraud to having children outside is absurd
Cause having your children and finding out that your husband has other children and you decide to leave him no problem
But having to find out that the children isn’t yours and you are to leave that marriage you are going with nothing
So they are totally different my dear

I beg please screen people before bringing them on the show... When one finds it hard to call out a bad behavior and is bent on trivializing it for justification, you know the person lacks empathy, morals and is most likely conditioned by trauma or the media in a negative way.

See for me there is no reason or excuse why any woman should give some else child to another person, very very very wrong
There is no comparison to what men do, the emotional damage that this situation cause to men is alarming, as parents when we work for our children in our youth we expect our children to look after us in old age if e no be your own e no fit be your own

If you haven’t experienced it, don’t take it lightly. Most of the participants opinions were based on knowledge not experienced. They don’t really understand the gravity of such unbearable experience. If they have experienced such, they weren’t going to make those justifications.
The same way if you haven’t been in a toxic relationship you won’t know the emotional trauma that comes along is the same when you haven’t been lied to about paternity fraud, you’ll have all of the excuses to please your ego.

Hmmmm, what abt the situation whereby the child was exchanged at the hospital by the nurse nko?cus, I was exchanged at the hospital in ibadan 1993, my mum died immediately she gave birth to me. So 2020, we did a dna test whereby my so called father is not my father. My Dad went ahead and did dna test for my elders and all was positive. So my dad went back to the hospital, requested for the hospital record as at 1993, so later we found out that
My so called mother gave birth to male child not (me)famale. Since 2020 till now, i'm homeless and no parents. Who's to be blame? Is my case a paternity fraud???
