    "Don't try to imagine why you didn't get the job. You can't control that. what you can control is ask yourself, Did I do the best I could to present my company and what we have to offer. That's it! That's what you owe." - - This hit me. Thanks Kier.
    May your soul rest in peace.

    I didn’t know it at the time how much Keir's advice would impact me, when I first watched his series back along. He planted a seed that people who didn’t owe my life or time to people who were negative or didn't have my best interests at heart... no matter who they were.
    It took a long time and a lot of heartache to learn that I didn’t need anyone else's approval but my own. But I am so grateful that I am now confident in my choice to pursue the the things that I believe in. That I have people in my life who love and support me unconditionally.
    So, thank you Keir. I will forever be grateful that you Chris convinced you to get on camera. We all need someone in our lives who will push us to share ourselves with the world. Even if it feels a little alien! You were that for me, so I hope I can pay it forward and be that for someone else.

    That man was someone who just breathes wisdom. I'm glad that Chris has taken up the mantle and I'm glad his words will live on with videos like these. Rest well, Keir: you've been a great teacher to us all.

    One of the most bold statement i've ever heard 'If you hire me i probably will end up knowing more about you than your therapist and your partner because you have to tell the truth if you cant tell the truth i can't help you..."

    I really liked that you only mentioned "In Loving Memory of Keir McLaren " ..and you didn't even indicate the years. Indirectly, you conveyed to us the fact that he will live forever through you and through all the others whom he helped to follow their mission/dream/purpose + and to make money ONLY AS A RESULT OF THAT. "I don't help those who just want to make money" - What values..what character... ! HATS OFF to Mr. Keir McLaren !💫💪🙌

    Making money is not that hard? Excuse me? Come to Brazil and try to make money starting from the bottom. It's too hypocritical to say that he doesn't want to work with people who think about money when a business always has to prioritize making money.

    • @thefutur
      @thefutur  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      We hear you, yes businesses are created to make money. There's a difference between working with people who are only motivated by money and working with people who are passionate about what they do and can also make money from it. We also live in a "global economy" where you can make money online from anywhere in the world.

      I get it, but it's not that easy to make money. Maybe it is for people who are born in first-world countries. I'm an e-commerce employee for several EU countries, still living in Brazil.

      Hi @@WDCESSMAOnline, this is late reply to your comment but you mentioned that you’re an employee. I think you make a solid point. I have to agree with you that money limitations come with working for a company (to many reasons to list in this comment section 😊). But since the Futr’s was created for people that consult or create for others, and typically work for themselves, I’d also agree that his advice is less relevant for employees. There’s many other videos on this channel that could be helpful to an employee though. Maybe is could be more a case of who the advice was meant for than being hypocritical?
