It's because he picks the ugliest colors, loses all mass appeal. I watch for curiosity, but damn this guy either hits aesthetics really well with the jet ski, or bombs it with everything on 4 wheels. The beginning of this video he's defending his choice, point proven.
Jeep is looking good. I'm excited to see your wheel/tire combo choices. For sand, go as wide as you can on the tread. I'd also advise to wire those bumper lights independently for when you get stuck at night, can illuminate front or back as needed without blinding headlights or needing the Jeep in reverse. Enjoy your sweat equity Jeep!
This turned out very nice. It’s so easy to write a check and drive away but building your own means so much more.As far as the colors you chose looking at your other builds it’s easy to see a common trend there, this jeep definitely fits that category.Excellent job, enjoy.
I was hoping that you had a set of half doors too and wanted to see how you would match them up with the paint on the full doors. I do love this build. Great job
oooooh that vintage teal paint is gorgeous! Makes it look like Jeep made a brass body and just left it in Florida. Super cool. Love what you've done here.
Glad I saw your videos. If I ever buy a jeep, or any other vehicle, I’m going to pay extra to make sure it has zero rust on it. It would cost me too much time and money to do what you did, plus I don’t have the room or half your tools, but I take my hat off to you for doing an excellent job.
Hello Zak, for the chrome around the head lights, if you put some "copper" rims, you can paint it the same color. But as it is, it looks also great! Cheers😉
When you do new wheels and tires, make sure you get a 4 wheel alignment. The rear axel has been off, front parts, pieces. It’s money well spent! Especially with the cost of new tires now! Take care! Looking very nice!
It's always a good time to watch you when you get rolling on a project like this one, man! Your vision is coming together beautifully, so unique. Can't wait to see some bronze wheels and larger MTs on this puppy ( I hope)!
Compliments: The paint is amazing, love the front LED turn signals. Responses you asked for: Grill inserts (meh), paint the chrome rings for the headlights (30 minutes, tops) Suggestions: A-pillar LEDs, front and rear bumper lights on their own switch, 5.25 "speaker pods" for the dash, 6.5 speakers for bar, AMP!!! Kicker Key is tiny, but kinda expensive; however, with the top down in the wind, it's quiet without an amp (IMO). One of those after-market switch relays will help keep your lighting situation tidy, and you won't need to drill the dash. Please don't go too digital in the interior. You're going to forget to put the top up when it rains hard.
I’m not sure what the bolt pattern is on your Jeep but if you’re not hardcore off roading it I think a set of SCS RS10’s would look great on your build. They’re lighter weight and affordable. Just my opinion. Great job.
You should get rid of the plastic fender flares for the metal style ones like on your parents jeep. I think they'd match the front and rear bumpers and tie it all together. Also some rock sliders/ running boards.
Looks awesome. Love all the black lighting and accents. Get some black wheels!!! Fuel Offroad makes some really high quality wheels. The paint looks super unique now that it’s all put together. Nice touch!
Needs a fuel tank. Or a jerry can for the back. Get the mount for the fire extinguisher. For the rear tailgate. Get a black or a red bumper jack. And mount it to the front.under the windshield/ in the cowel area. If you get a Armor kit. Leave it black to match the monster one you have in hood.
You should definitely try it out off road just to get a bit of a baseline before you get the new tires. I could see you with some really shiny chrome wheels. Either the classic aluminum jeep wheels with the holes or try out some gray hot-rod wheels with a chrome lip. That’s what I have E/T is the brand. I never see any other jeeps with them on there.
Love the build. If you’re ever interested in off roading in Central/ North Florida a few buddies and I go out about twice a month. We normally switch up the location but my 99 TJ gets through it all. I’m sure you’ll have the same experience.
GREAT JOB!!! I really enjoy your total renovation videos and your creative touches!! Keep them coming. Cannot understand why you are not hitting 500,000 to a million subs?
I went with MT 12x36s on my TJ and they looked awesome but later wished I had gone with 10x32s for better control on the highway and power.... needed lower axle gearing or better yet, stronger Rubicon axles. Fun video... built 3 jeeps and still want to build another one like this.
Really enjoyed watching the entire build... great job on all the rust repair...kinda sad that it's all done though... Looking forward to see what you have in store for us all next.
This Jeep is really coming together nicely. Some more quality work put into it. And don't you love how you get to clean the interior? Is there another vehicle out there you can just wash it out like that? lol I love it
Wow great looking jeep! You’re extremely knowledgeable and very talented! I think the paint job is great. Fits the your style. Think it’s an amazing build. Please keep updating and progressing with your build!!
Zach your Jeep is looking great I notice you had the LED hyperlink when your turn signals were on they make a LED flasher that plugs in underneath the steering column that takes that hyper flash away. It’s very simple no wiring required just pull the old one put the new one in and you’re good to go otherwise keep up the good work 👍🏼
Overall, I’m pretty impressed with what you did with the Jeep. It’s awesome to have so many after market options. Definitely makes it much easier to “individualize” your ride. Nice
As far as wheels I would look for old school steel wheels or something that looks like those to keep the vibe of this build. You can make those rusty or muddy looking to keep the well used feel of the Jeep. I love this build. Make it yours. and enjoy it.
Before you start driving and end up disappointed, take all the Hooke Road stuff off and either repaint it or get it powder coated. They do an absolute horrible job on their ‘powder coated’ parts. My fender liners rusted in the first month. My buddy’s bumper did too. I would suggest sanding it and rhino lining it to keep it budget friendly.
Found your channel looking for a diy tow behind trailer for my jet ski so we can go camping - that would be an awesome project maybe using the shell from an old jet ski!
ZaK, Amazing job watched every episode you are so talented attention to detail. Looking forward to seeing the new wheels and the next project you rock!
Your jeep looks good your hard work payed off. I have a 2002 tj with a 4 inch lift. I have 35 inch toyos with fuel rims. It looks nice. You should at least look at fuel rims, they have a good selection of rims that will look good on your jeep.
Like I commented on the previous video 33s wouldn’t require a regear which would get u on the road sooner and still look way more aggressive then what u have now. Also 15” fo beadlocks would just look clean. For the winch I’d go with the badlands apex 1200lbs it’s the best value for a winch currently on the market in my opinion. Love the Jeep man I wouldn’t personally have went that off with the color but it’s a Jeep your meant to make them your own.
Consider an. Auxbeam or similar accessory switch control that keeps everything clean in the engine bay. Eventually you will thank yourself for keeping the engine bay and cab clean from wire mess.
Amazing transformation and work Stay humble as you are and keep up the amazing work. Each to their own i just dont like the bar on the front bump, think it is a bit to big.
cant wait to see what wheels you get. I would love to see some 16x8 black rims with some chunky rubber on there, but thats just me. Do you!, chances are i will like what you do anyway because i've been loving everything youve done to it so far
It would so much cooler to put in a manual trans. I would really suggest getting it aligned now before the new larger tires. Even a slightly out of alignment will eat new larger tires ASAP. Spend the $80.00 bucks and save on tire life.
I don’t understand how this channel isn’t bigger, even the quality of the videos are amazing. Top to bottom deserves way more attention
💯 👍
It's because he picks the ugliest colors, loses all mass appeal. I watch for curiosity, but damn this guy either hits aesthetics really well with the jet ski, or bombs it with everything on 4 wheels. The beginning of this video he's defending his choice, point proven.
@@MrNightpwnerAlmost sounds like he's choosing colors that he likes.... not you.
I totally agree been saying this for years now
@@MrNightpwner do us all a favor and don’t watch n comment. This guy is fantastic.
I think the tail lights are upside down? I think it would look better with the reverse on the bottom.
That’s how they are on my 05, bolt pattern wouldn’t line up if you flipped the lights
The lights are right side up, but i do agree, i think they might look better upside down lmao
I like the silver rings, gives it a halo look and makes it so the black lights aren't just a hole in the grill.
Looks great now it's all together, new wheels and tyres will be the icing on the cake.
Not my style in color but very cool you saved a vehicle from the scrap yard.... And I love the music you use for your videos
That's probably the best interior I've seen on a Tj. Great job and awesome paintjob.
Keep the chrome in the headlights, goes with good hardware and recovery hooks.
Looks amazing🎉🎉🎉
The Jeep is definitely impressive. You did some good work on it.
This turned out very nice. It’s so easy to write a check and drive away but building your own means so much more.As far as the colors you chose looking at your other builds it’s easy to see a common trend there, this jeep definitely fits that category.Excellent job, enjoy.
Strong 💪 work!
Black Rims for sure! Big tires.
Truly an Ultimate Rebuild!
Cheers 🍻
Cool build can't wait for the finally wrap up and offroad session!
I was hoping that you had a set of half doors too and wanted to see how you would match them up with the paint on the full doors. I do love this build. Great job
Coming soon.
Always happy when you upload. Thanks!
Probably my favorite build so far
Looks great way to be different. I miss the jeep I used to have 2002 TJ Sport. Have fun.
Great job man it looks so good out in that sun even with out the wheels and the interior is AMAZING looking!
I really like it! Everyone criticizing the paint job, Drop a link to your channel in the comments, so we can watch you paint yours.

Paint job is amazing!! hope you can go to Jeep beach this year and see that jeep on the beach!
that paint is cool
Feels like this needs bigger/mean wheels for the style. Love it tho, great work!

That is an amazing transformation!
Nice build. Change the bulbs in the cluster it make a big difference. Also seat risers are nice
You should get rid of the plastic fender flares for the metal style ones like on your parents jeep. I think they'd match the front and rear bumpers and tie it all together. Also some rock sliders/ running boards.
You should still get it aligned... especially after the new wheels and tires.
Damn jeep bumpers are so easy to install
Looks awesome!!!!! Can't wait to see more!! 😊
Looks awesome. Love all the black lighting and accents. Get some black wheels!!! Fuel Offroad makes some really high quality wheels. The paint looks super unique now that it’s all put together. Nice touch!
Another great job Zak!
Congrats, looks great. I am amazed that you stuck with it after seeing all the rust damage. Well done! Now enjoy the Jeep for the next 10 years!

Great work. Thanks for the video. 👏👍🤟

Yes definitely paint the headlight bezels black. That will tie in with the rest of the look. Can’t wait to see the new wheels and tires! 😁👍
Really enjoyed watching the entire build... great job on all the rust repair...kinda sad that it's all done though... Looking forward to see what you have in store for us all next.
For the interior you should be using some 303 Automotive Protectant, it’s also Made in the USA!
You are so smart & talented! I respect and admire your work! Beautiful inside & out bro!
There is a LOT of "blood, sweat, & tears" put into this. Looks great!
So the color isn’t really my thing but the job you did is amazing, and it looks great!! The uniqueness is great
This Jeep is really coming together nicely. Some more quality work put into it. And don't you love how you get to clean the interior? Is there another vehicle out there you can just wash it out like that? lol I love it
Some new wheels and tires, a winch, aftermarket fender flares and some step bars and this jeep will look killer.
Got ya a nice cruiser there Zach! GR8 job!
Great job. Looking insane!!!
That is exceptional. Incredible job. Makin’ me miss my first jeep
For the rear camera I’ve seen many mounted on the center of the spare tire rack. It’s out of the way with plenty of visibility.
Great job man! I like the crome around the headlights. Makes them stand out
Wow great looking jeep! You’re extremely knowledgeable and very talented! I think the paint job is great. Fits the your style. Think it’s an amazing build. Please keep updating and progressing with your build!!
Liken the color! Reminds me of a copper patina.Great job bud..love the detail.
Looks a lot better with all of the new trim pieces. Excited to see what you get for wheels.
Zach your Jeep is looking great I notice you had the LED hyperlink when your turn signals were on they make a LED flasher that plugs in underneath the steering column that takes that hyper flash away. It looks freaking awesome, cant wait to see what wheels you go with. Great job!
Nice outcome so far.
This has been a very fun build to watch. Great job!
Looks good dude..some new wheels will make it all come together
Overall, I’m pretty impressed with what you did with the Jeep. It’s awesome to have so many after market options. Definitely makes it much easier to “individualize” your ride. Nice

It looks awesome! I can’t wait to see the wheels and tires you pick 🙌
A lot of women would love to have that base color. While I wouldn’t want that paint job I think it’s really cool and artistic and takes talent.
Before you start driving and end up disappointed, take all the Hooke Road stuff off and either repaint it or get it powder coated. They do an absolute horrible job on their ‘powder coated’ parts. I vote you paint the chrome. It's looking beautiful
Love that paint job! Awesome job!
ZaK, Amazing job watched every episode you are so talented attention to detail. Looking forward to seeing the new wheels and the next project you rock!
Keep the interior as is 👍🏾👍🏾 the patina came out great.
Never usually comment but great work dude, it's unique. Your channel deserves to blow up
It would be sick to see you do more of a Fab job with this jeep and turn into a mini pick up,
Looks great. Love the content
Turned out awesome. With some rims and big tires it would great.
Your jeep looks good your hard work payed off. I have a 2002 tj with a 4 inch lift. I have 35 inch toyos with fuel rims. It looks nice. You should at least look at fuel rims, they have a good selection of rims that will look good on your jeep.
Looks good job well done
Thats very, very cool. Love it!
Like I commented on the previous video 33s wouldn’t require a regear which would get u on the road sooner and still look way more aggressive then what u have now. Absolutely awesome paint job!!!
I would have preferred a flat OD Green with the patina.
Great job , Zack! I noticed a bunch of boxes in the background. Those would've be for your tri- hull pontoon boat would they?
Consider an. Auxbeam or similar accessory switch control that keeps everything clean in the engine bay. Eventually you will thank yourself for keeping the engine bay and cab clean from wire mess.
Amazing transformation and work
Stay humble as you are and keep up the amazing work.
Each to their own i just dont like the bar on the front bump, think it is a bit to big.
The jeep is turning out nice time to look for another one
cant wait to see what wheels you get. I would love to see some 16x8 black rims with some chunky rubber on there, but thats just me. Do you!, chances are i will like what you do anyway because i've been loving everything youve done to it so far

Love the build bro. Cant wait to see it on the trails!
Great Job 👏🙌... Hi from Argentina 🇦🇷.
You should put reverse lights on the bottom. It would look a lot better.
Video approved great work on your car hope it goes great off roading .
Paint the blinkers black on the fenders and the front
Get some rubber bump stops between the tail gate and the wheel carrier as that’s problem waiting to happen
You should flip the shocks and see if the ride quality changes.
That paint is cool AF 🤘🤘
Keep doing your own style. The world doesn't need yet another copycat ( dang, son! ) car rebuilding channel on YT.
I see what you did there
Looking Great Man!!
