Double Dragon II: The Revenge ( Daburu Doragon II: Za Ribenji? ) is a side-scrolling beat 'em up produced by Technōs Japan originally released as a coin-operated arcade game in 1988. English localization was published by Acclaim Entertainment, which was released on January 1990 in North America and later in the PAL region. It was later re-released on the Virtual Console in North America on June 21, 2012 for the Wii and on June 12, 2014 for the Nintendo 3DS.The NES version of Double Dragon II has many little differences from the original arcade game. Unlike the first NES game, the game now features a co-op mode. There are two different co-op modes: in mode A, the player's attacks will not hurt each other; in mode B, they will. There are also three difficulty settings, which also determines the length of the

This one was by far my favorite one. My uncle and I used to slaughter this game with 2 player mode. When they introduced that knee and spinning kick to the 2nd game it was over with. That Knee damage was so satisfying and still is. Lol. I beat this game countless times. And then would play it over again. The end boss was hard ass hell doing all those flips anf cartwheels and shit

What a game? Double Dragon bringing back memories. In those days Japan was the world leader in producing 2d games prior to the advent of 3rd games which came much later.These games brings back so much memories.Double Dragon, Contra, Mario, Teenage mutant Ninja turtles 3 and it's a never ending list wow feels so much to play these games again.These games are evergreen.Those were the days.

I played it with my sister when we were kids on some chinese nes clone :D And some other favourite games from which I remember Goal 3 (it was fun as hell haha), Super Mario 14, and ofc classics like Contra or SMB. All pirate versions of some games I dont even know the orginal tittles of, bought on local bazaar full of cheap chinese shit :D Man those 90s and early 2000s crazy times of my childhood. @@tonyp9313 forward then A and B at the same time after jumping. The character has to have the ducking animation before you do the command though.

Really miss those days. I remember roaming from shop to shop just to find that 4 in 1 cassette of Contra, Double Dragon, Green Beret and Dream Masters. This casette was so rear to find!!! I would spend the entirety of my school days playing TV video game, till my friends got back and we would start playing cricket. Really miss those days, unfortuantely, they'll never come back, but they're embedded in my memories forever!

yeah, I noticed the 1 million jumping knees and almost zero other offense
I overused that move every time I played. I loved using it on the big ass bosses and watching them fly across screen 😂😂😂 the move where you grab one by the hair, punch them, them throw them was great too.

I have very bad memories with NES games. When I was a child I play Mario with my Father and Mother and that was the feeling which I cannot describe in words. Then my mother got ill with the lungs disease and she died and my life become like a hell. Then after few years my father also died with cancer. Now I only have 3 elder brothers and bad childhood memories. Whenever i watch NES gameplay I feel very bad. I lost my father and mother in very young age. I still have my NES but I miss my parents too much.

I'm 15 y/o, and every time I go to my grandparent's house, I always ask to take my father's old NES to play this game, I first did this when I was 10 and I still do it. That final boss is weak and easy as you can see. The real challenge is the boss rush before that. The bosses just keep on coming one after the other and those ninja's...all that with one life.
"and those ninjas"... Stand there and spin kick... ninjas die quickly. Also. The final boss is really kool to beat with power moves. Fade away spin kicks work great. He also frequently runs into knee attacks if you have the faith to just execute them. Uppercuts work too, if you just use them any time you land.
@@fench1234567 Hell yeah, I always loved hitting both ninjas at the same time with the spin kicks. A lot of enemies get baited with the spin kick into the flying knee, so much fun lol
Moral of the story, if you want success in this game, you really have to master all the specialty moves -- the landing uppercut, the high knee, and the cyclone kick.

The combos in these are crazy finishing off with a knee/spin kick hahaha good times
You can't see it, but there's a boxer behind the flame created by the dynamite that knocks you down when you get too close to it. And that thing flying up and down in the gear section of the trap room has tiny but powerful fists.
