I checked the Kenshi sale last night at found out that I still have up until January 6 to decide if I should buy it or not. Today, I found your video, watched it, then decided to buy the thing.
The funniest thing so far i went through was in Shark. I just wandered in, got greeted by some local who wanted me to bow to him. I 'politely' refused. What followed was an attempted fight, but the guards stopped him quick. Except there are 5 opposing groups there, so after 2 minutes, they were all fighting each other everywhere. And i wondered of to the bar, with fights, and sat down at a table. I recon half the village died.
Here are the controls for SS13, for when you play it again. (For most servers anyway) Tab - Switches arrow keys to WASD and whatnot F - cycles through intents 1 - Help Intent (Shakes sleeping or knocked players to attempt to wake them, may need a few tries to actually work.) 2 - Disarm Intent (Click on player sprite to attempt to disarm them, sometimes this means they get pushed onto the ground aswell) 3 - Grab Intent (Grab items to either drag or pick them up. Like with chairs you usually can pick them up in grab intent) 4 - harm Intent (As name says you either punch, stab, slash, blast, or explode people with this intent.) Drag player onto table to climb over or on it. (Same with windows without glass in them) Drag Player onto disposal bin to start climbing in to the bin. (Recommend clicking on the disposal bin before hand so you can activate it) R - Throw (Throw objects, items, even chairs stools) Heres some tips to make up for controls I have forgotten. 1) If you are attempting to climb over a window or into somewhere click and hold your player sprite onto the object you are attempting to climb over. 2) On some SS13 servers you would have a craft menu. Its near the intents.
As part of the community who wanted chronicles of elyria to release, i feel like kenshi is close to the type of game we wanted, just without multiplayer
