I'm currently relatively-comfortably getting ready to go to sleep in a 2016 Fit in comfort mode. I'm 5'10" and I can still fully stretch out as long as I have some pillows to flatten out the slope of the rear seat
I don't know about later years, but on the 2009-2013 models, the rear seat backs can be tilted/reclined a little bit. Just pull up on the seat back release and push the upper seat back. It will tilt back between 1-2 inches. It's not much but it's better than nothing.
@@weslandia2001 honestly, this is selling. I work graveyard and sometimes just need to knock out. I 5ft and if I find it uncomfortable to sleep in my yaris...not a hatchback, I can't imaging what you go through to fit in a regular Sedan. I just need to fit comfortably lol
in a honda CRV you can do the refresh mode thing. Remove the front headrests, push the seats foward, and then recline them and they will line up with the back seat. Plus, the honda crv rear seats DO recline, so they can literally turn into a bed. But that's the only cool feature with the seats on the CRV.
Magic Seats are to die for! I used mine yesterday to haul a 3 drawer chest. So awesome! I needed you video to figure out how to get the seat bottoms back down 😅

Long mode needs some work. Long mode would look and act better if it could have the passenger seat fold forward and down-away creating a more flat area.
Will a 2012 do "Refresh mode"? Also, why is the rear seat split as leaving the single seat on the passenger side? 🤷♀️ If the single seat was on the driver's side, then in "Long" mode you could still use the seat behind the driver for a second passenger, while using Long mode to transport a long item.
Thanks for watching. The 2012 should be able to do refresh mode too. I am not sure how Honda came up with the split design but I'm sure it was to add functionality in the trunk space.
@@rensselaerhonda it's really sad. The honda fit is really a perfect car. It's just what most people need, no one needs the big massive cars that people buy today. They think a bigger car means more practicality but people have a hard time believing how practical the honda fit can be. My car is a 1995 mazda 626 which is a midsize car and is quite a bit longer than the fit, yet I really do think that the honda fit is more practical and can fit more stuff in it than my car.
I used to drive Toyota Prius 2007 until 2020. I got a Honda Fit 2020 a month ago one of the thing i LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVED the prius was the rear seat fold down to be 100% flat, you take off the headrest on the co-pilot seat and tilt it back it is FLUSH, i used to transport 8' long lumber and 4'X8' drywall in it with about 3 inches to spare. I once transported 16 4'X4'X8' and 80 8'0'' long fence boards with it for my fence project. cant do that with Honda fit............. the Long mode measures 7'10.5" it is beyond infuriating..........and the co-pilot seat doesnt fold down flat if the rear seat is flated. now i could only transport about 6 4X4X8' lumber diagonally. i wish the honda fit is about 3 inches longer.......................................................
@@MedHI8686 Utility mode lay down the back 2 seats. get you about 5'6" of length or 6'6" diagonal (havent measured exactly). the long mode with front seat down, you get about 7'10" length front to back. about 8'6" diagonal. you can seat 2 people 2nd row (left and middle) that way
No one believed I could fit a desk in my Fit. Popped it into utility mode and it fit like a charm.
same thing with me, nobody believed I could fit a fat chick in mine. Popped it into fat/tall mode and voila.

I didn’t know about refresh mode. What would make it more refreshing is if you could recline the backseat. Then you could have “bed mode?”

This feature is available on all Honda Fits but the Honda Fit is unfortunately discontinued.
