I’ve had my Honda fit for nine years now it has 388,000 km on it. Very easy to live with very safe and reliable and the versatility is awesome and the mileage is right up there too. In my opinion I think it’s the best small hatchback car on the planet.
I bought a 2009 new, now has 118,000, of trouble free miles. The car is bulletproof, extremely reliable. The front seats are like easy chairs that lay back for sleeping at rest areas. It drives and has the feel of a little rally car. I'm 6'3" and very comfortable in it.. The Negatives? It's not a quiet car and it needs a roof rack but I can easily live with both. I'm going to hang on to mine forever.
2012 here, the only thing I would add is the air conditioning isn't the most effective. But I live in the sub tropics and all the glass lets the suns heat in.
Ken Stok the rear seat bottoms folding up are the best! I have a dog, my seats are always in that position so they look showroom new after 7 years, my dog rides on the floorboards.
Love my Jazz. I’ve managed to fit in a freezer from Aldi, a 12 foot trampoline and a 2.5 m yucca. Of course not all at the same time lol. But that’s why I call it The Tardis.
In my old Ford Probe my entire mountain bike could fit in the trunk with the front wheel tilted, and yet it was a smooth sporty car. So many ergonomic advancements in that car that never got passed on. The turn signals were the best. Not sure why people like signals on stalks.
I have a theory, that the Element is simply the larval form of the Fit, on still nights, unowned Elements quietly slip away, and under cover of darkness they cocoon themselves, just before dawn, the cocoon hatches, releasing TWO Honda Fits into the world, one Element becomes two Fits It’d explain why there are so few Elements left, they’ve all evolved into a smaller, more efficient form Glad I’ve captured my Element as it is, but I also think a manual Fit would be great fun as well
Fun fact: The Honda Fit/Jazz is rated the most reliable and faultless car all over the world - like numerous times... Face it haters. You know nothing about cars ;-) Don't own a Fit/Jazz, but it sure is a well built car.
You KNOW NOTHING about the Jazz. If the battery completely flattens in these, the transmission looses software settings and won't change gears properly until you get it reprogrammed. I suppose these have the oil leaking VVT valve too under there properly. And if they ever put GDi in it, will it leak gasoline into the sump as well? I don't give a shit about what "experts" say because experts said hillary had a 98% chance of winning the election and look how that worked out. And how come the toyota landcruiser isn't rated at the top. There's ones from the 80s still going strong.
@@OffGridInvestor The GDI issue your referring to is in the 1.5t engine that comes equipped in the civic and crv. Most GDI concerns can be straightened out with a simple catch can. Common issues with the fit due not include any battery faults. I cant speak for the transmission since mine is a manual.
You totally missed the best part of it... That is removing the head rest from front seats and tilting them back 90° to make them align with rear seats (best for sleeping)
I was going to give a thumbs up but I waited for 2:40 minutes for a bass drop that never came. Ha. just kidding, thanks for the video. It's hard to beat this interior layout in such a small car.
It's funny how people talk about "cheap Japanese parts" but I notice more GM cars at my local junk yards, and thieves steal Japanese cars, because they want something they can get away with not a POS GM lol

Do u find that you’re too scrunched up? If I can’t spread out it hurts my ass usually
This is the most straightforward and least annoying video of the Fit I have seen. May the dark lord bless you and keep you

As a 6'2” bloke, I sure do appreciate your feedback. Wishing you a long and trouble free ownership. 👍👍
a sub compact with more room than a midsize SUV. Honda you LEGEND!
I have been looking at fit's for about 2 hours now and this video is probably the best selling points of them all
Ken Stok agree

I bought a 2016 Honda Fit a few days ago and I absolutely LOVE my car. It is awesome.
Delighted to see this because I was told honda had stopped doing this with the seats which would be a nightmare I have a Honda fit 2010
THANK YOU! I want a car that back seats fold flat and this is literally the only video that shows that!
I have a 2010 Fit with over 265k miles and it runs great. My wife has the HRV, the x-over version of the Fit. She gave her 2009 Fit to her son.
Wtf is an X-over?
@@flumpaustin1994 X-over > Cross Over. It’s like a compact SUV. Cheers
I love my 2015 Fit named Ruby!
My fit is named Konata (こなた) :)
Mine is Zytron, comes from the names of the aztec gods of traveling
Mines is Tommie
...and, if you move the front passenger seat all the way forward and recline the seat back, it aligns with the back seat to make a lounge chair.
That answers my questions. Thank you for making this.

You not supposed to take freezer out of Aldi. Just take food out and pay for. I surprise no one stopped you.

Are you going to tell us where the turn signals are? 😮
I have been able to haul 8'x2"x4" lenths of lumber in ours and still been able to close the hatch.

I dont like GDi or any engine from EarthDreams project. Wont last for years like what Honda used to build (of course this just my own opinion)
У жены fit 2002 года все тоже самое, возил 2х метровый холодильник, с закрытым багажником

Can you put the front seats back and the back seats down like at the same time (refresh+utility?)

why they chose a dwarf to seat in the car? can this car fit a 6 footer?
It can but In the front may be a bit uncomfortable according to your driving preference - the back is no problems at all even if u over six
@@randomvidzofficial416 it's unfortunate the back has more room than the front..
