I lived in Boca-Delray-Ocean Ridge, moving from Ft. Lauderdale to Palm Beach County, and really didn't like living in that part of Florida at all. Broward was definitely not for me, but Palm Beach wasn't much better. Costs are high a lot of places, and that's not the biggest problem with SE Florida. It's the "certain type" of people who live there, epitomizing every negative stereotype. Actually, "types." You have the "Seinfeld Parents type" that are one kind of annoying. Then you have the ghetto ilk in Lantana and Lake Worth, who rob the elderly white people with money in Boynton, Delray and Boca, sometimes robbing the same place MULTIPLE times, if they think they have a "good mark." Worst parts of Florida? Anywhere that too many Jacks and Blews are.
Agreed more felons in S florida than any where in the country. Lotsa crazy crime not normal. lotsa rehab centers and they stay and get hooked over and over creating chaos
Thanks for sharing! There are some crime spots in south Florida so it’s important to look up crime maps and talk with locals. I personally haven’t had problems in central Boca. A lot of south Florida has people who wear bright color clothing. A lot of people here wear all black compared to the other local cities in the area. It’s more of a business/money mindset along with enjoying the luxurious lifestyle tropical city of Boca.
It really depends what stage you are in your life and what you need from the city you live in. It’s beautiful and peaceful here. Exactly what I am looking for right now in life
It’s beautiful but way too hot come May/June. It’s also so busy and people are very haven’t handed with their horns
😂 the hands on the horn at stoplights during the winter time is ridiculous! I enjoy the heat though! Gets the joints working quicker to me.

How do you like West Palm Beach? It’s too busy for me.
What would you suggest is a good area to live in, will be relocating and will be living by myself and attending FAU.
Illinois liberal leaders are now discussing a mansion tax... My wife and I have had it. Looking at Boca of Sunny Isles
Some nice single family homes in Boca! Sunny Isles is great for condo life though.
So all you have in your head is to run away from Taxes?
Boca has great schools, but its goddam boring, I left. I might return to Delray beach when 70+
