    Based on your test the $25 pin actually dropped the power of first shot and didn't give you any more shots. Basically a waste of $35. Thanks for the experiment. I bought one haven't put it in cuz my hdp50 doesn't hold the air at all. Basically a brand new hdp50 on the 21st shot blew out the seal I replaced it and it doesn't work at all anymore . Wasted about $2"0 after ammo and co2. Thanks mated. Power is in the barrel. Cool thanks for done quality I do. I bought a pin from the advertisement says plus 25joules. It also says no returns now I know why. Cuz it doesn't do jack shit but make you less lethal pistol r en more less lethal

    Vidéo très Intéressante …
    Run a fait le même midifications sur un HDP50 mais avec un canon plus long et il atteint près de 30j pendant 5 shoot !!
    Bizarre que ce soit le canon seulement qui donne autant de puissance !!!
    Bizarre Bizarre !

      Every marker can behave a little differently especially when using co2.

    So with the HomeDefence-24 Modify Pin the thing has less power? That doesn't speak well of this product, especially when his web page for it uses words like: improvement; extreme power; and achieve maximum performance. Turns out it is NOT an improvement, there's NOT extreme power, and it does NOT achieve maximum performance.
    Frankly, I don't see with these dismal results how he can advertise this product.
    P.S. Thanks for the tip on Less Lethal 777.

      If i honestly had to describe it i wouldnt call it a loss but also not improvement on the hdp 50. The numbers were so close that its almost negligible but ppl only ever focus on the highest numbers.

    power in the 💥barel!! i think sometimes they wear out faster from full deletes. i have an 11j hdR _intact block_ but a performance barel & i get over 25j w/ skirted ammo. (homemade devastator type 3.6 g)

    • @lesslethalfordummies
      @lesslethalfordummies  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Skirted ammo is definetly another animal when searching for higher power but only roundball for the hdp.

    Interessante video...🎉 complimenti... però la differenza è minima,forse migliorerà la precisione e sicuramente lavora meglio con un buon restrittore magari allargato ...in grado di fare più di 12 scatti😊

    some say that umarex cart.s are a milly longer. it looks like it might work if everything is perfect but cart.s will vary. the other thing is the 2nd run started lower & it could have been the crosman cart. as they have been reported under filled lately- i have some. i would try again w/ an Ux cart.

    Sean was thinking of putting a small washer in front of firing pin on the tpx! So bigger build up of pressure has less co3 is lost out of the front maybe making the bolt hit harder!! What you think!! Still watching not touching yet till I think I understand how the platform operates 👍

    • @lesslethalfordummies
      @lesslethalfordummies  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      In a Tipx there is no pressure against the firing pin until the internal spool valve opens. The Tipx is different than how most blow forward markers work. Similar principle but the way the air moves through the valve is whats different.

    Cool! Can you try Iron balls with this factory barrel? Then that would be interesting to cross-check your results with "777"...

    • @lesslethalfordummies
      @lesslethalfordummies  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I originally tried steel bearing in the factory barrel in an earlier video and it tore the seal and deformed the barrel so you wont see that test again unless its a diy barrel. Previously with factory barrel i only got 16j with 8.35g ball bearings.

    • @rafael.frigori
      @rafael.frigori ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@lesslethalfordummies did you use as Iron balls the "VOLV precision balls" as LL777 has mentioned (in the comments)? I guess maybe getting more power, or otherwise just catastrophic barrel damages (😢), could be due to tinny differences in prejectile diameters.

      I noticed my HDP 50 recocks very slowly. Takes about 5-10 seconds for it. I used some very heavy silicone grease when assembled it, that's the only thing I can think of causing it.
      It seems like it doesn't desolves either using silicone spray. Guessing I have to take it apart AGAIN using some brake cleaner or something on every part.
      What do you think? Experienced something similar?

    • @lesslethalfordummies
      @lesslethalfordummies  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@H-M-78i would clean all the old grease off and redo it. Be sure to put a drop of silicone oil on each co2. Do not use brake clean to clean it out. That will damage orings. Just a rag is sufficient.

    • @H-M-78
      @H-M-78 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @lesslethalfordummies I tried wiping off the valve and outside of that "black anodised thing" but I think there's some grease left on the valve pin etc. This CRC grease is like I said very sticky and probably not good for airguns at all.
      You recommended silicone oil didn't you? But not aerosols/spray cannister?

    • @lesslethalfordummies

      It would seem they are neck and neck and really boils down to the finer details on which marker is more powerful but you cant forget the large 68cal dumps alot of energy before penetration could occur compared to a smaller 50cal.
