Hey Brother! Thanks man! Thats a ton of my lift on that wall :) Actually, you can have those bottles recharged at any airsoft/paintball fields OR buy a cheap scuba tank and you can refill them 100 times ;)

Good Stuff ! With the QAB's ,you will be Impressed with the High Velocity and its Ability to Break Glass, but they tend to Break apart on Impact.
When shooting Soup cans,..they will Enter and Exit and SomeTimes remain Intact.

Gen 1 is 11 Jules while Gen 2 is 13 Jules. That's an important improvement.
The valve blocks are identical. That means the potential for these is awesome :)

Another excellent & informative video, Jon. As long as you're testing the new Umarex projectiles, would you also test the Grimburg Jul V3 and their new KinetiCS which combines CS & OC irritants with a hard kinetic shell weighing 6 grams.
Also looking forward to your review of the new LTL Charlie, which advertises 16+ joules and is an extremely realistic looking launcher. The only drawback I can see is the 5 projectile limit in the front loading magazine. I'd be interested in seeing a match up between the LTL Charlie and the Umarex HDP 50 with the speedloader.

Thank you for all you videos. I have been watching many videos to decide which launcher is for me. I really like this one in your video and have been leaning towards it for a while. I can get one for 89.00 right now. However, I will be using pepper balls NOT kinetic rounds for self defense. Would you still recommend removal of the valve block or would the rounds prematurely break when being fired ? I am on the security team at church ( what a shame that’s what the world has come to) and I don’t want to use my .38. Say what you will but I’d rather not take a life.

you know the reason i got the fireball was the fact , it was just a little different to me its more like a glock . but there were some variations .
i completely tore it apart after my vigorous testing of course LOL !!! i had to pre order and wait a long time but finally got it ! .
i ordered just the launcher but they sent me the completely filled package i guess because of my long letter and phone convo !!!
there were quite a few bugs i had to correct with the trigger safety trigger first off , you know ,it would pinch your finger terribly lol , a simple file and sand job got it perfect .
i wrote the company back with my evaluation telling all the things they needed to correct . instead of fixxxing , they just stop selling them , remember ? .... i love it now , and will keep it , it has been modded to my liking !!!
now enough ranting on another subject , MAN DO I LIKE THE NEW GEN 2 HDP .50 !!!

the grip is important, when i used to train people back in the day , i had a variety of grip slip ons to let them try , it really does make a difference .

the new knob i really dont care for , wow , it bled that new 12 gram co2 like in under 2 seconds , just think if there was a malfunction at a time you depended on it in a real scenario !!!
i dont know , i will have to get one and try it out i guess .
NOW , on the subject of glass breakers , i believe the vibration frequencies that porcelan produces would be my first choice , ever heard of people breaking spark plugs into pieces to throw at tempered glass ,,, but decades ago i found just plain solid glass marbles were well suited for this exact purpose !!!
the trick is to apply enough coats of paint on them to make em fit and seal better in the barrel and they work really really well as ammo , on the contrary to popular belief , the glass marbles are very tough and hold up to being shot at anything just about , they are amazing ! .
well enough of my never ending long exhaustive commenting LOL , cosmetically , i like the new gen 2 , but i like the honest review you did on it even better , keep up the great work my awesome brother , you sure have come a long way in my opinion !!! ...😀

I see a couple of issues with that new puncture cap. Salt is tops with their cap but i will reserve judgement until these gen2s make it into the hands of consumers.
An improvement nonetheless being able to degas easily. Time will tell….

@@ck_defender greetings and welcome to the family! You generally do not want to leave these pressurized for extended periods of time. Weather conditions, humidity, and wear and tear on your seals can be an issue in the long run. The point of degassing is to give you the ability to utilize the launcher and then remove all of the gas without having to fire out all of your excess rounds or just constantly pull the trigger. Also, it gives you the opportunity to keep a fresh, unpunctured cartridge in the launcher.

They need to move that thumb rest up a bit I feel. I’m chocked up on my pistols as high as possible. Like most of us ahha. Relying on co2 for self defense seems a bit risky. Will the co2 leak out? Do you have to change the cartridge after certain amount of time?
That is actually the beauty of that puncture cap. Until you need the launcher, the CO2 is not actually punctured. That way it is fresh when you need it at the instant you need it. Generally speaking, you do not want to leave these pressurized for extended periods of time.

Yeah for the HDP and tr50.. It’s mostly cosmetic though.
Whats a round clasp ? Oh you mean a extractor whats the difference it's fake anyway, they should of just made it a smooth slab side. I didn't think people bought these to mimic real guns but for less leathel purposes, trying to make these look like teal firearms sounds dangerous. I do like your show thanks
Man, I brain blocked for a second :) I’m coming off a 3 day illness so cut me a little slack :) The point of appearance is the first line of defense. Cowards tend to flee from force and the mere presence of a self defense item is your first line. (Particularly if you edc or oc) Thanks Brother! I have some big plans coming :)

have you experienced that the bullets jam on the HDP 50 when you shoots? Bad bullets ore somtings rong whit the gun?
Greetings! Not generally but rounds that are too large or that are particularly "sticky" can cause issues. Also, if the detent gets damaged is can cause feed issues as well.
I use silicone lube on the rubber rounds, otherwise they'll stick a bit and make the trigger pull drag.

Hey brother,glad you’re back and feeling better. The grip part of Gen 2 looks awesome. I also like the twist to vent co2 option. The square shape looks less likely to need the Allen key. But I am very attached to my original. It is one of yours from the site, modded and dyed by you. Just an awesome launcher that kicks butt. Extra special being the first one off the sight. Looking forward to the glass breakers. Thanks again.

Hello people. I'm looking for a replacement valve cap. The one on the back where the red indicator pops out to let you know there is pressure. If anyone could point me in the right direction that would be great. I have searched the internet and cant seem to find that specific part. Thanks in advance.

Question for you! how do you fix a jam in one of these?? i have a ball stuck in the chamber or barrel i cant tell, and its super stuck. i tried to take it apart to fix it but 2 of the pins wont come out so its just kinda in pieces at the moment. im super bummed cause i was having a ton of fun with it. its one of the 20-24 joule versions i got from you. its shoots super fast and accurate and makes a mess of a full can of soda! =D but i only got about 150 rounds off before it did that. any pointers??
Hey man! If the round is stuck in the barrel, the easiest solution would be to disassemble it and push the round back through. However, I suspect there may be a damaged detent which is making the situation worse. The pins will only come out from one direction. (The launcher laying on its left side with the barrel facing to the right). If you cant get it, shoot me an email and Ill have you shoot it to me. I can get it fixxed up :)

Hi can i ask you what do you know absolut the concorde defender 50 cal? God ore bad gun?
I’ve actually been trying to get them to send me one for quite a while. The specs look good, and the internals are very similar to other launcher. We’ve already demoed on the channel. However, I can’t give you a true impression until I get one in to demonstrate. I’ll shoot them another email on Monday and if you would like you can send them an email asking them to send one of the channel for review.
We all know byrna ammo is expensive as fuck... Can I get an alternative brand.. and also cases of the oil CO2

Definitely need more byrna stuff lol also different color balls or different types would be cool Ive found a bag of alien rubber balls on amazon it says it's for byrna but I don't know what is safe to mix and I'm afraid of getting shit jammed in the barrel
