Hey Jack. I have bought the maxflys recently. I have only been sprinting for a year as a 39 year old masters athlete. I used to use the Nike rivals and did my first open in the rivals 12.81 time. Would you recommend me only using the max fly's for racing? Or can I use the max fly's for training and also for races? Hopefully you respond if not no worries thanks I enjoyed your content on YT. Also any updates on if the bubble has popped since you have been using these?
look i use the maxflys for training and races but i would recommend having a back up pair so that if ur maxflys pop u have another pair and can use them before getting ur refund
Yeah definitely agree, whatever you prefer is usually the safest bet for what spike will be the best. Just like to give out all options as one little thing might make a person choose one over the other. Thanks for your comment !
F13 is Field restricted vision right ? If she was doing track that would be T13? regardless I'd say spikes are important for track events. I know a T13 athlete in australia who uses spikes for their 100 and 200m events.
That's a great question, I would probably lean towards the superfly elite 2. Reasons being cost and I know the heel doesn't slip out of the superfly if you aren't wearing socks. Asics are still a good spike though
I contemplated the ASICS but when Kerley lost, I lost interest. Plus, I think the cost should have dropped because they had no competitors advance far during championship however, the cost remained the same
I wouldn't bother with the resale pwrx the sdx are much better. So far I prefer the max fly, although the sdx certainly help my leg turnover and actually wear them for my 200m. Then i'd say i like the puma's but have not tested them enough yet, really agressive. Then sp2 and finally the asics metaspeed
What about the NB SD? I have the SP 2s (second pair) and I also have the NB. I’ve competed in the SP2 this season but next meet, I’ll try the NB for the 200
I think they are a good spike. I haven't personally worn them yet. They are available in Australia for $400 AUD but for that price I don't think they're worth it to buy.
Can you do review a ON 10000m cloudspike? I've seen that they are actually good for sprinting but don't have enough information on them to make the purchase.
I've actually considered a pair of those. Or even the 1500m ON ones. They have a half carbon fibre plate. You might've just convinced me to buy a pair !
I love maxflys but I popped 2 out of 4 bubbles and the prices here raised like idk so I don't have a spike for now 😔 They must fix this problem if not they are literally stealing money swindling people! 😡😡
Thanks for watching ! In Australia if your bubble pops you can send them back to Nike for a replacement or refund. Not sure if that is the same everywhere else.

Sorry mate, I can't agree with you on the colour of that Maxfly being good. Maybe for women, but not for men. Pink and fluoro colours are feminine, so look good on girls, but gay on guys. The current blue Maxflys look way better, although it has a little bit on fluoro colour on it, which I don't like.

Yes, Though I feel I could wear US10 in Maxfly and 9.5 in the SP2 as they feel little bit longer.

I think the choice between the sp2 and the maxfly is just personal preference,and what works for you.

I’m still gonna say the Nike Maxfly for the 400m. Most of my athletes run their 400’s in the maxfly’s as well. Adidas would also be good for the 400.

That's fair enough mate. Colourway is personal preference for sure. But in terms of the actual spike itself I reckon maxfly are still the best !
