For those asking about the transmission lines. Get a good size catch tray or two for under the fittings. I used a 5/8 spanner to undo the fitting on the end of the pipe whilst holding the larger fitting that threads into the tank with a shifter. If like me you are doing a few jobs whilst the radiator is out and you can get to them, leaks etc. Then I highly recommend a short length of flexible pipe about two feet long and a hose clamp to have on standby. The shorter of the two metal pipes that you undo will back syphon into your catch tray. It’s only a slight looking run of fluid but it doesn’t stop. It just keeps slowly back flowing and I lost 1.2 litres of fluid into my catch pan before I realised after about 30 minutes. My handy bit of hose was clear and I let it sit vertically so the fluid would find its level and stop syphoning. The level of the fluid rose about a foot back up the pipe vertically to about the base of the pulley on the crank. I would have lost a lot of fluid.
Another tip, the original radiator is heavy. Get under the truck and pull the lower edge of the plastic shroud over the lower pipe fittings and drain petcock whilst pushing the radiator up a bit past the shroud base. If you don’t the lower edge of the shroud catches above the petcock etc stopping you from lifting it up and out. Once you have cleared the shroud it comes up easily. If you’ve got a bad back, have a buddy ready to help you lift it up and out. I highly recommend the 6.0 Mishimoto Trans cooler upgrade for the 4R100 trans too before you cook it.
    Hope it helps,
    Cheers 🍻

Also ear plugs work well, once you get them disconnected

I too was wondering about the bottom transmission lines. I plan on buying one off these radiators.

Hey Jay - this is a direct fit for Ford's 7.3L Powerstroke - I'd advise you to consider our universal trans coolers for your F150!

Does the mishimoto raditor hold more fuild and how much ? The video says stock holds 5 gallons but show 4 gallons going in, then recommends using a 50/50 mix. "Any help on this ??"

***** I know its 7 months later but an answer for you... There will still be about a gallon left in the engine itself after draining and replacing the radiator.

Unfortunately we do not have caps we can provide to block off the ports. Apologies for any inconvenience this might cause.

I’m willing to bet you are not making “serious power” given the stock airbox, stock intake to the turbo, stock intercooler couplings and stock everything else lol.
