Angela, that hoodie with the skirt is going to be fabulous!
It’s been a rough week for me, but I did manage to finish toiling some shorts. It took three toiles this time. Haha. I also started cutting pieces for a quilt for my grandson. I’m making it from clothing he’s outgrown and scraps from garments I made for him. I’m a scrap hoarder, I fear, in addition to hoarding fabric. 😂

Hi Angela! Loving your plan for a lightweight woven hoodie!
I have a lightweight French terry hoodie I wear a lot in the summer, also a Kwik Sew pattern 🙂 (3693).
I really like your idea of making it a 3 piece hood. I definitely see how that would lay better.
Your chosen skirt fabric is so fabulous and will look great with your hoodie!

You could make a tank top that is lined with that green. Would make a nice top for the skirt. I am just getting into sewing panties from t shirts, of all things!

The green knit might be good as a tissue tee? Maybe wear a neutral body color cami underneath it? That green is in my color palette, as well as the fabric on your dress form. ❤ I miss kwik sew patterns. Love the heavier pattern paper. 😅 i still use the KS patterns I do have, but i was sad they ended that pattern line. KS are always fast makes.

Great suggestion! I'm still tossing ideas around for that piece and appreciate the input. This is only my 2nd KS pattern but I do love the heavier paper myself. I really like the color coding and it all just seems very high quality to me. Thanks so much for commenting! ❤️
