Thank you so much!! I didn't remember that they did Spain too. Maybe not so much in Japan, but in the rest of the world, so underrated band! they are AMAZING!!!
I was honored to have seen Lew perform in NYC jazz clubs over the years. I thought of him recently when attending Bending Towards the Light: A Jazz Nativity in December 2015. He was one of The Three Kings for a number of years.

6:45 Lew Soloff changes trumpets from a standard 3-valve to a 4-valve trumpet. Anyone know what make/model this is? Of course, Lew sounds phenomenal on it.
Charnett Moffett got a raw deal with the pathetic, almost non-miking, of what was a sensational bass solo. What the H is the matter with these sound guys?
大人の余裕というか、手馴れてるなぁ・・
そうは思っても、やっぱりすごい!!!いつ聴いても何度聴いても聴き入ってしまう・・・
ため息しか出ない。

Looks to me as a Schilke Bb with 4th quarter valve
🌸💙😃
George Costanza plays a mean trumpet.
That was Lou Soloff. He was the lead trumpeter for Blood, Sweat and Tears.

Four valve trumpet? Who makes it?
Several manufacuterers make 4 valve trumpets (quarter valve) this one I think is a Schilke from the looks of it
Name value
mistake at 8:48...
Sorry ? What ? Is it joke ? It is probably .
シルキーのトランペットかな?
Yes...But - what do you mean?
Does anyone know which year this was recorded?
That saxophonist is alright but I didn't hear the minimum 12 bird licks per 16 bars so I would like this video to be removed
