Not real sure either. They have another set on their site that doesn’t have that and they look more like the speed engineering headers. Maybe since these are for 99-06 maybe the earlier years need that bend for clearance or something.
Awesome video man! How have those new taillights been for the Silverado? I've thought about getting aftermarket ones similar to those for my 05 but have heard mixed things on the quality and how easy it is for them to get moisture inside the lights.
@@AlexMaroon as of right now I can’t think of any cons! The pros are they give the truck a better sound and look great! I haven’t gotten a custom tune yet though so I haven’t noticed much in the performance area.

That driver side header looks crazy with that runner like that. Wonder why they did it like that? Spark plug wire is literally stretching around it

I love them so far! Have the plug wire covers coming in in the next couple days then I can actually drive it lol

They’ve been great so far! They’ve been exposed to a few heavy rains and storms and they haven’t gotten any moisture in them!
That driver side header will burn through your steering boot if you don’t heat wrap it
I’ll keep an eye on it but it looks a good enough distance away it shouldn’t be a problem!
Did you have any broken exhaust bolts in the heads?
I did… but I got lucky and they were in the front and out enough I could get a set of vice grips on them!
