Bought this gun brand new 15 years ago jam jam jam right out-of-the-box I was shooting Remington gold took it to a gunsmith and he told me that there was nothing wrong with the gun and to start using a high quality ammo never had any problem after that

Where can I get that 30 round mag

My Remington Model 597 has a magazine issue. I have that same 10 round magazine as yours but plastic. If I put 10 in the magazine, the magazine spring seems to not be pushing the bullets up to chamber. The bullets are basically getting stuck in my magazine. What magazines are you using and do they jam?

I haven’t had a problem with jamming because of the magazine, yours may just need some oil.

Sorry this is late but from what I read, Remington addressed the issue by providing metal magazines instead of the plastic ones. Mine came with a metal magazine when I purchased it and never had a problem with it. Have you tried a metal Remington mag instead? They're a little pricey but that might fix the issue you're seeing.
