Your videos make my day Simon, your reverence toward your deceased quarry is highly commendable, the Yanks are high fiving and whooping which I don’t see any need for!
I’m American, and i find no joy in taking the life of any animal, but it has to be done, just know many “yanks” feel the same way. I appreciate the respect Simon has for animals, and his marksmanship is top notch!
The foxes do so much damage they need to be controlled humanely, I totally agree, You are showing people how it should be done safely and correctly. John Bailey.

Hats off to you again Simon. A necessary job done with feeling, compassion and the showing of reverence to an adversary. Thanks for making videos as you do a dirty job cleanly. Can't ask better than that.
Well done simon, never heard of a shot like that last one never mind seeing it.cracking bit of shooting and filming. That must rate as one of the best filmed sequences on the shooting TH-cam.
Another great video, with great results Simon. Two things you have that I can not have where I live is the suppressor and the night vision. We can own night vision, but can't use it while hunting.
Good work there Simon, very methodically done. I need to learn the patience to wait it out, I always walk about field to field, and normally get the result but would be nice to try it your way too. Just setting up and focusing on an area. 👍👍
Ye Stephen i too all my life used to do the same and i would say go 4 farms on the night yet see nothing then the next day the farmer would have lost chickens and such so i came up with the plan just stake out one valley for as long as i can for the night and to be fair it has been working, at times it gets a tad boring but i kind of enjoy this way these days as i like watching the wild life i see.
@@simon6ppc246I'll give it a go sometime, would make for a Better relax than id give myself at home🤣 can never stop there. I'll have to find a way to carry a camping chair as well as the other gear😁
Foxes are a menace. It's a shame they can't learn to stay away. Good job, Simon. Oh and last weekend, I actually got to shoot my Wolverine R for the first time. It's only taken about two months since I picked it up. Brilliant rifle, and very comfortable to use.
First class Simon, commentary is educational to the less experienced. Where I farm in Cheshire I’ve never seen any deer apart from very very occasional foot prints, but finally saw a muntjac last week, nice to see finally and I’m wrong side of 50 😂
Another enjoyable video long session with a reward at the end thank you for sharing im hoping to get back out myself soon, well see how that goes, take care
Well done Simon for such a lovely animal they are so destructive to nature unfortunately,if they weren’t controlled the country side would be in a bigger muddle than it is thank you
Thanks for the video Simon, good safe shooting as usual. My squeaking's worse btw. Alpex & m3 rolled over on the bipod a few nights ago, it didn't improve the Zero .Wider bipod next purchase lol.
I really enjoy how you take the time to explain thing in your actions. Youare doi ga great joe at filming as well, cant be easy. I've just got into fox control for the last 2year and realy enjoy watching the world at night. All the best
poor vixen - didn't realize how expensive chicken is today. foxes, coyotes, and raccoons get to be a real problem around here and out west where I used to live and now up north in my state, the wolves are beginning to be the same. it's a shame, yet it has to be done especially when one is doing subsistence living.
Hi Simon, Good to see you back at "work" in your off hours. I respect your high energy and enthusiasm after working. Just wondering..... does the UK require you to have a special permit to use the high power Sako rifle in your Fox control activities? Is it difficult to obtain one? And, why are air arms limited to 12 Foot pounds? Thank You for the fantastic videos documenting your efforts at fox control. Kind Regards, Dave in USA
Ye David i have to have a license and they are quite hard to get to be fair also you don't have to have a license for any air rifle under 12ftlb in the UK.
Honestly, only the fox is in the best position to say if your dry lip squeaks are "amateur". But with that fox being dead, I think it settles that question!
Would just get hold of a planck to put from top of wall to the ladder put couple of pieces of wood or 2screws under the plank to stop it from sliding on the ladder when you step on and off

It's easy enough to make a hide using pallets and four foot across is usually wide enough area because that's a huge area covered at a distance

As a chicken whisperer, I contacted its soul via a medium bucket and it asked, where were you two nights ago 😅

Talk about getting caught red handed. Hehe.

If you use bungy cord to stop the scaffold from moving it will stop it from moving and keep it tight against the building

You and other night shooters use the night vision monocular on your left eye not your dominant right eye. Why please?
I can use it with either to be fair Steve but also it keeps my other eye perfect for seeing in the dark.
@@simon6ppc246 I never considered the eye night vision part. Thanks
