Adri, I'm looking to buy the Nordic track that you reviewed. I know this video is a few years old but I thought I'd still ask. I'm 6'3" and my ceiling is just under 8 feet. I'm wondering how how high off the ground the foot pads are at their highest point. I find that information anywhere on the internet. 🤞Thanks, Brad
Stupid question but I hope you can help. I bought a used fs5i and I for the life of me can't find where it plugs into the machine. Could you point me in the right direction? Thanks
Adri, is the workout on it completely manual or is it motorized, like the motorized treadmills and ellipticals? I am looking at a used one but have never used a freestrider, only ellipticals and treadmills. Thank you in advance.
@@AdrisJourney It's ok, thank you. I researched it a bit more extensively and yes, it is motorized, not manual. I was a personal trainer and owned my own gym but did not have ellipticals then. Some are manually powered by the participant and do not have any motor. Thank you again!
Where does the adapter plug go? Purchased some time ago. It works without power so I still use it. Called several repair men. No one knows how to plug in adapter or turn power on. This is baffling. Help please.
Does this have EKG for heart rate monitoring in the handle bars? Looks like it might, but its hard to tell. Thanks for doing a review - there are so few on youtube
Now that you’ve had it for a while now, are you still happy with it? What about mechanically, have you had any trouble with it? There aren’t many “real life” reviews on this machine. Thx
Hello, thank you for this review. I just got mine today, and had a question for you. Do you notice your machine somewhat shaking at high incline? Mine seems a little unstable when I increase the incline. Thanks!
Hi the model displayed hear is the fs5i which has no incline .the fs9i which I suspect you have has incline and yes it does shake on incline has I have the same problem. Reading other reviews don’t think this problem as been rectified yet .so anyone thinking of getting one get the fs5i because incline is unusable fs9i
@@poaldavidson4 but will fs5i be enough in load strength for guys? If you have fs9i could you please advise: in general - all fs family 5/7/9/10 - is it possible to keep a high pace (speed) of training on them? Because all videos with them show pretty slow movements; completely different from standard ellipse speed
How high are your ceilings? I just ordered one and realized the ceiling in the room it’s going in is only 7ft high.. the machine itself will fit but I’m concerned I’ll hit my head..
Looking at buying this right away Here in Canada they have it listed in the store for $3300 on sale for $1200 which in US$ would be under $900. Hopefully its worth it.
For me yes. I have only gotten up to level 11 but my husband also uses it and he likes it for a different type of workout. I honestly love it and wish I had more time to use it.
Nice review, but unfortunately Nordictrack has decided to discontinue this model. And also unfortunately, just like other businesses are doing now because of the Covid 19 damage, supply is limited and demand is high, so guess what Nordictrack has done - they have jacked up the prices of all their freestrider models to at least $800 more than what they were last year. They were already overpriced, but this is ridiculous...
Wow! That’s crappy! I was really interested in getting the sf7i or the sf10i but now I’m having doubts if I should avoid a disaster and look for another elliptical. I’m bummed because there is so much I like about this one.
Hello, I'm really interested in the equipment but have a concern related ot its height. Can you please measure the height of the pedals (lowest position). I'm also interested in knowing what is your ceiling height. I'm 1.82 cm and ceiling in my basement is 2.15m (7 ft), I've another elliptical whic fits so I'm wodering if I hsoudl go ahead and buy it. Tks! Great video btw !
I would check the website to make sure you get the correct measurements. But m ceiling is low but I am also short. So someone taller then me could not use mine. Hope that makes sense.
Worst piece of equipment I have ever purchased. Feet keep sliding off the outside of the foot pads. And that was for the five times it worked before it broke down and cost me another $180.00 for a technician to come and repair it. Totally overpriced dung heap.
@@AdrisJourney Did you read my post? It’s garbage because it was rendered useless (no speed or cadence displayed, no incline or resistance adjustment) about 1 month after it finally arrived and they have no idea of when they can send my the controller board to fix it. Coupled with the fact that I’ve wasted hours with their horrible ‘support’ group and it adds up to garbage.
That’s unfortunate to hear. I never had issues with my machine and never had to deal with their customer service. My machine’s display works and has 20 different resistances with full display and many workout options.
This was 5 years ago. How it working out now? Please i need to know.
hey great review, how do you turn it off ? im having issues with mine. thanks again
Thanks! If it’s the same as mine it turns off on its own.

Hmm I’m not sure I really understand. But the machine won’t go unless you move your legs. It has resistance. Hope that’s helpful.

I’m so sorry just saw this. I hope you were able to figure it out.
wow man...made my life..
Nice one Subscribed...Keep'em comin....
Thanks for the sub!

Unfortunately it does not. It’s the cheapest one. But still works greatX

I love it still and so far have had no issues with it. It’s a really good workout.
I was not able to figure it out. Please advise.
Mine turns off on its own. Check your manual because yours might be different.
I cannot find the on/off switch. Where is it?
It turns off automatically. And once you step on it will turn on.
How do you deactivate the Bluetooth
What size ipod or tablet can it fit?
Does your machine do any sounds when plugged in and but not in use?
Hmm I don’t think so. I have it in my studio but never noticed it making sounds when not in use.

Hi sorry for the late response. Mine does not shake. Make sure the floor is level. Let me know how it goes.

did you get a (height on the pedals) at max height?
Sorry for the late reply. Hope it worked out for you.
I didn't have an option on height adjustment.
Does this model shakes while running? heard some of the newer models shakes pretty bad on incline mode.
I have not noticed any shaking. I think as long as the floor is level you should be fine.
How is it on your joints? I have bad knees and need low impact. Thank you
So much easier then my treadmill. My husband uses it when's knees act up.
welcome back I miss watching your videos it looks like you lost some more weight you look fantastic💜
Aww thanks. I’m still trying. How are you?

WOW that's disappointing! I had purchased it on sale a while back.
I love mine. so its disappointing to read the above comment.
How loud is it?
It’s not very loud but I also have EarPods blasting my music.
I want one too!
Why do my friends have to live so far!! 😩😩😩😩
Man I want one!!
Omg I love it. See if you lived here you could just come over and use it. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

They have a lot of different models.
