I’m surprised at the lack of device storage and streaming on the iFit machines. I prefer to watch/stream TV shows during my workouts. I’m surprised that so many reviewers fail to mention the lack of streaming on all these iFit machines. Otherwise great reviews.

Can you turn the automatic incline and decline function off without it impacting on the automatic tension

I am 5'1". Weight around 130. Is this a good choice for people of short stature? My neurosurgeon said to use an elliptical to run. He doesn't want me to run outside or on the treadmill.

I'm also 5'1" and I'm in the video. It should work for you. The full stride length is 32" which feels a little too long for me, but since it is adjustable, I can shorten the stride to work for me and my shorter legs. It even shortens so much to work like a stair-stepper. It gives a great low-impact exercise, too.

How high is the pedal in it's highest position? I'm trying to figure out headpiece to see if it will fit in my basement. (I'm 5' 11")

Yes, that's what I was wondering too! My husband is 6' so I'm concerned about placement due to ceiling height and the highest pedal position. I hope someone has an answer. 🤞

Did you ever get an answer to this? I actually purchased it online this morning, but didn’t think about my height while being on the machine.

So it doesn't go in reverse, because that would have been an obvious thing to demonstrate.
Also the height from floor to users feet obviously isn't important, or basically the room height needed for the 5'8 to 6 ft user would need. Just put it in any ole room right?

typical for a man. That's fewer than half the people in the world. Typical is more like 5'0-5'7.

I have this machine and i wanted it for the supposed long stride however i cant figure for the life of me how to adjust stride length . If its just how long yiu stride automatically i find this machine difficult to use and very jerky as when you are not used to it it makes you use it as a stepper more than elliptical and im using for weight loss cardio so i hate this machine compared to a true elliptical.Try one out before buying as now i am stuck with this thing. Not comfortable for me at all.

most valuable comment on here lol. I'm 6'1" and want to run without impact...really want an Octane ZR8 but they stopped making them!

i have the older model and find it much better than any elliptical because the movement is not fixed and compared to a treadmill it easier on the legs (feeling next day compared to treadmill). The faster you go, the longer the stride. My model resistance is motorized belt braking the flywheel, had to replace the motor once (annoying). If new model have magnetic resistance and screen like Peloton, it would be perfect.

Those mechanical arms/links that move out front are so ridiculous. For the movement involved they are massive. I hate subscriptions too....they silently siphon your accounts and are too easy to forget about.

No way the stride is 32”!I know it says so but i own this very machine and you have to go slow on it and you cant power run on it or it will bang around and despite the 375lb rating which im nowhere near i make this machine hop and move. This machine is garbage
