    It’s an amazing machine! I bought one with only 9 hours used for 300 dollars.
    I had to update with a patch, but after that it’s awesome

    NOTE: This product works exactly as described. th-cam.com/users/postUgkxguEIMc_Qwab-3QMTpF6jaRL80hiOOsIN It originally earned a four-star review due to a minor defect (see below). However, the manufacturer's customer service rep (Lita) went above and beyond the call of duty and deserves five stars now. I wish I could give even more!I purchased this item which arrived quickly. Assembly instructions were easy to follow. There was only one problem: One bolt did not screw into the hole properly. I called the company. Their customer service rep (Lita) was terrific! She took all my information and submitted a request to replace the defective part. I'm hoping to finish assembly and start using this treadmill soon. (Fingers crossed...)FOLLOW UP: Lita called back to inform me that the company will send a replacement part AND a technician(!!) to install it properly. AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Thank you!!

    This is the BEST review by far, no nonsense, sweet attitude, and I’m really glad to see she likes this machine so much (I’m sure it’s not for everyone) If I also may add: I’m thankful the whole time I’m not bombarded with babe shots as many of these exercise machines submit a guy to. Anyways thanks! I’m going to buy the FS14i (current model). By the way, I called NordicTrack, about the many machine breakdowns, the rep claimed these were from a bad batch in 2020, and that they’ve redesigned and fixed the issue. Here’s hoping that’s true

    Does it come fully assembled - or is some level of assembly needed (I need to get it up stairs to a bedroom and my 11.5 nordic track was perfect - as I could take the bits up stairs in parts and assemble - still loving my 11.5 machine)

    • @BestTreadmillReviews
      @BestTreadmillReviews  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great question, it comes with assembly needed. All the parts come together in a big box and you will need to assemble it yourself. Unfortunately with everything going on in the world right now NordicTrack has stopped doing the White Glove delivery and assembly package. Inside the box you'll have the treadmill deck, arms, and console all disassembled. If you have any follow up questions please let us know.

    When your unit is inclined do you have a rocking/jolting issue with the upper portion, or is it fully locked in place and smooth? We just got one and this is an issue we are having. We have verified the unit is fully leveled and the base of the unit does not move at all, just the upper portion that is connected to the handles and pads.

    What Is The Best Exercise Machine If Your Goal Is To Lower Your Blood Pressure? I was thinking of getting a stationary bike or an elliptical from NordicTrack. I have high blood pressure and currently do 0 exercise and was recommended by my doctor to do at least 30 minutes a day.

    Thank you for your review of the FS7i elliptical. I also watched your review of the 2950 treadmill and noticed the large 22" touchscreen. It appears that Nordictrack does not make any ellipticals with a large touchscreen - I don't understand why. I see that the FS7i has a small screen AND a tablet holder. Why does the elliptical require 2 screens? Do they work in tandem somehow? I don't get it?

    • @BestTreadmillReviews
      @BestTreadmillReviews  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Peter, thanks for watching our reviews. NordicTrack doesn't make any ellipticals with larger touch screens right now, we also hope that changes soon. The ellipticals that have a tablet holder on top are convenient if you want to use iFit on a larger screen that what is given or if you want to watch something while you exercise. Using the screen on the machine and a tablet at the same time won't do anything other than give you two screen to look at if you want. They don't connect and work in tandem or anything like that. We hope this helps answer your question. Please let us know if you would like more clarity. Also, if you are looking to buy a NordicTrack elliptical or treadmill soon, use the link in the description and it will save you a few dollars are your purchase.

      Answered my own question, to anyone else who would wonder, seeing ellipsis contrary to what most think, ellipticals can be bad for people with lower back issues, the solution is CENTRE DRIVE ellipticals, there are rear and front drive, CENTRE drive ellipticals allow a straighter posture.

    • @monkeyb1820
      @monkeyb1820 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      tbh, the best thing would be to get some decent running shoes (maybe 80-90 bucks), spend a few weeks doing some intermittent jogging+walking. Try to jog for 60-90 seconds, then walk for 30 seconds, then repeat this pattern for 15-20 minutes. Only after committing to this and seeing some results (minimum of 8 weeks) should you consider putting money into a machine. Almost everyone that gets a machine stops using it and then it just collects dust.
      Of the ones you mention, Arc trainer is excellent (way better than elliptical)--but arc trainers tend to be expensive and very heavy. Walking on an inclined treadmill is good too. A concept2 rowerg is great exercise--but most people are not diligent enough to use it on a regular basis. So as mentioned, I'd start with a low cost jog/walk, wear a digital watch or use a timer to help.

      Thanks for watching. We don't love that there aren't any handles that don't move that you can hang onto, like on most ellipticals and it takes a little bit of learning to figure out how the three different strides actually work. But other than that we love this machine.

    Why doesn't this elliptical allow you to use headphones with it? You are forced to listen to everything from the speakers embedded on the machine. There is no accommodation for bluetooth headphones or corded. You can only plug your phone in through an aux cord. When you plug your iPad into the USB port, it doesn't charge it as you watch a movie or anything like that. Not sure why the USB is so limited. And who is going to run a long HDMI cord from this machine to a TV? This machine should have the ability to mirror, not cause a possible tripping hazard. And the app-it takes so long to load videos and sometimes exiting a video is painful because the "end" button is not responsive. I noticed that this elliptical has high reviews, but realized that they are on featured on the company website. Is there a possibility that these are regulated and biased reviews? Especially, since this machine is not so liked on other websites.

They were already overpriced, but this is ridiculous...

    Sorry Nordic, but you lost me with the fake "Stair Stepper." There's no button to push or anything to make it a stair stepper; you simply try to stop the handles from moving while you push down on each foot. You could at least have had a way to lock the handles in place. This looks more like a low impact machine for the elderly or someone recovering from surgery. Instead of calories you're burning hard earned cash.
