I think another cool idea would be to use colorful rocks that you find in fish tanks. It would be just as colorful, but would be hell on tools, so you would probably need to do something like you did in this one.
not to mention the little rocks would chip out and leave massive craters and be painful projectiles, and if it was the glass ones even worse... only problem with this method is you're left to one basic generic style for every bowl. I was thinking he could have just turned it anyway then added a layer or two or three of resin to seal the exposed jelly beans.
Timing....about to go to bed & Nick drops a video. Oh well, I can sleep after. Edit: your excitement about the jelly beans is adorable. And this is such an awesome idea. Really a very cool project.
Lord Zammeti, this jelly bean bowl came out great. Your enthusiasm made it even better. I loved all the colors, especially the green. That is an epic candy bowl. Great job and idea! I wonder if sealing the inside would help you like it better, since we didn't get a chance to see what you didnt like about it? I like it!
I just ordered a plot for a friend for Chhristmas. He's Scottish on his father's side and is ancestrally related to John Muir so the tree planting was an awesome tie-in. Thanks for helping me with my Christmas shopping!
Cool project!! I think it would be cool if you got your hand on a bulk of funky and colorful bendy drinking straws and made something out of them and resin.
Your witty sense of humor prevents me from fast forwarding to the end of the video to view the final results. Also, kudos to you and your demented brain for continually discovering new and creative techniques!!! Love it!
I love it. The possibilities are endless. Nut shells could be cool. You could use it to put whole nuts in with a nutcracker. You could custom make a bowl with something special to honor someone or something. You are the most fun that's for sure.
My late uncle Harry (also called Jellybean) loved Jelly belly jellybeans . This bowl would have been on his desk filled with the jelly beans. This project brought back so many happy memories of my uncle, thank you.
Many thanks for the amazing video, Lord Zammeti!!! ❤️❤️❤️👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 I wonder, do you have candy corn over in the UK? Those would also make an awesome piece!!!
That turned out amazing! We lived 40 min drive from the Jelly Belly Factory here in California. Their tours are so fun & smell amazing. I figured this would work well because the beans are turned in Huge Stainless Steal kettles and shellacked with sugar. They are turned for quite a long time. They end up looking like they are covered in resin.😁💚💜💙
I really like this project! I think it turned out really nice looking! As for why it was clear on the outside ¬ on the inside maybe it's because you used the spray on the inside of the outside bowl & not on the outside of the inside bowl
Wonderful! Jeez, this was fun. Nick, you just rock when it comes to jellybeans. That is absolutely gorgeous. I love your art and genius. Thanks for the great video.
Thanks to you and your sponsor my family and I are all Lords and Ladies with our own 1 sq. ft. of land in Scotland. The result on Facebook has been fabulous.
One thing I've used for a lot of resin projects is colored rock salt, the kind you get for driveways. Sift out the smaller pieces, pick out any dark pieces and then dump the salt in a ziplock bag, pour in some acrylic paint and mixing it around. Then let it dry. Pick out any pieces that didn't pick up the color and away you go.
I love this one! Fantastic for Halloween or any party really! I love the fact that the jellybeans were intact and not chopped up by the Laith… I love that it’s shiny and varnish- ED I totally love this one !🥰💖🌸 and I really love that there was not a lot of resin waste! So it’s really saving money!🥰💖🌸💐🌺🌼🌻🌹😋
Stayed up late to watch because I got the notification right before bed. Love this!!! I love the colorful projects the best. Hope you're doing well, Lord Zammeti. I also hope your present arrived safely (there was no tracking after it left the USA, so I have no way of knowing). I've been wanting to do the lord/lady plot for a while and I've got an Irish and Scottish heritage, so I figured it made sense. I wanted to use my last name because how beautiful does Lady Rose sound? However, my last name will eventually change when I get married, so I decided it was best to use my first name. Great project Nick! Have an awesome day/night
Once again you rocked with this project. A whole new way to make weird and amazing bowls without being covered in flying resin. Can't wait for the next project. Keep on waffling.
Call it the Belly Jelly Bowl 🥣 I think it’s a cool piece Nick! I was wondering how it would look if you used some of the internal hardware from a computer to create something …. Just another idea! Always great to see you! 💐👋
LOL, You crack me up. Sorry, your lordship. My grandfather came from Scotland and I have a family crest, but this is fantastic idea! And the bowl looks spectacular!
hi im canadian and i was looking for sites to keep me sane this winter a n d i found you love that you talk cant stand sites that cant bother to talk then i cant be bothered to watch love the funnies i worked in the woods for years love to see any wood being worked thank you keep talking you are awesome ps [ove the whip
Wow inspiration hit me....I have red and green lentils and I think I can use them to pour a Christmas tree. Your videos always give me a new idea when I run dry. I wish I knew someone with a lathe. Without it I can't get nearly as creative as you.
I love this so much , when I was a kid my dad made a coffee table with one pound notes in resin on the top , my mum moaned as £1 were still in use then and we called it the £5 coffee table which was expensive back then 🤣 ...I'm gonna try this get my pops to help me make this , great project loved watching this xx
That bowl looks delicious but I didn't see any of my favorite, black jelly beans! Have you tried those tiny seed beads? Something with them might look awesome.
A cool idea for you us9ng a method like this with the 2 bowls. You could take a load of copper or aluminum wire and bend it into designs and set them between the bowls maybe with tinted resin. Then just finish turning. Great job on the Bean Bowl Lord Zametti, came out great!
Love the graduated bowl method, you could even make a set all at the same time just using smaller and smaller bowls. Bowl, resin, bowl, resin, bowl, resin, repeat….! Would give you more output from one curing session.
Lord Zammeti, meet Lady Emmanouilidou! I just purchased my plot of land and I'm super happy and excited! I loved the video, the jellybean bowl turned out really nice! Keep up the great job!!!
Nick, your family must just love you! I have a feeling you don’t take too many things seriously! You probably have them laughing at something most days! Life can be much to serious and I find you a breath of fresh air! Love the jelly bean project! Waffle on my friend! 😉😉😉
My favorite part of all your videos is the glove snap! Then, of course the waffling, and always the project. You said that the inside of the bowl was misty? Maybe the bottom of the plastic bowl on the inside isn't as smooth a surface as the inside of the bottom bowl. I've been sharing your videos on Facebook, hoping to get you more subscribers!
Hi Nick what a cool bowl you do really come out with some fabulous ideas for the items you make. I can't wait for your next video thank you from Amanda x
I don't know if this would work Nick, but if you can't use a pressure pot then maybe vibrate the piece after you pore the epoxy to get the bubbles to rise to the top where they can be turned out. IDK mate but might be worth the experiment lol Regards Conor
Oh man… Now I have to go to town for jellybeans. But the bowl looks lovely. (And yummy!) The technique you used is brilliant. Thanks for the effort you make to entertain and enlighten. 😊
Nick, you are da BOMB!! I had a thought…🤦🏻♀️ Have you tried layering resin colors? Pour a little of one color and pressurize, then a layer of another color and pressurize and so on??? COULD be Sssooo cool!!! 😘
Great candy dish, actually, for those who can eat it. Before being diagnosed with diabetes a few years ago, I used to buy and eat pounds of jelly beans---loved them! They'd sure look good in that bowl!
As for channel variety this was a great idea. What is fun about this project is a lot of people could try it at home if they can't turn something. Since you inspire people to want to try something projects like this are great. What are some of the simpler projects that you started on.
You need to find a brick or rock to put in you middle bowl Nick. I love the idea of using the 2 bowls. It has to cut down on your cost/use of resin. It's the perfect bowl to fill with snacks. You feel like your grabbing a handful of candy but it could be filled with anything. 😆 🤣 😂
yay, mold release. also, what I've seen other people do is plunk a piece of scrap wood in the center to save on the resin. not to mention I think you had that bowl making jig which could then carve something like the scrap wood right out without having to hollow it out all by hand.
OMGosh, I LOVE IT! You have done it again. Might I suggest you make one that is filled randomly with little peppermint candy canes and round green spearmint candies, for the Christmas holiday? I think it would be stunning with both colors. Hmmm, out of the plastic wrappers or left in them? Does resin dissolve that kind of plastic wrap? The colors wouldn't run would they? OH, oh....... you could add a few little bits of silver tinsel or glitter to the mix as well?? Love you!! xo

terror bowl ^^
The colorful rocks are painted. Gonna have a lot of grey rocks.

Nick, I will be most fascinated to see what this bowl looks like in 5 years .
I've wondered about that with his other projects he's done. Some of them have been awhile so it would be cool to see how they look now.
Cool project!!
I think it would be cool if you got your hand on a bulk of funky and colorful bendy drinking straws and made something out of them and resin.
YES! Ive been waiting on this video since the live you did. Can’t wait to find out “What happens to Jelly Beans?”
Your witty sense of humor prevents me from fast forwarding to the end of the video to view the final results. Also, kudos to you and your demented brain for continually discovering new and creative techniques!!! Love it!
😊😂🎉🎉
love the close ups of the resin pour. nicely done 👍
Yes, especially the slo-mo!
It reminded me of MoonPie Creations' pours with the Sexy Time music. Silly and fun!
Lord Zammeti, you have outdone yourself! That bowl is fabulous!
So cool. Perfect for Easter. Candy corns for Halloween? Candy hearts for Valentines. The possibilities are endless. I so enjoy your videos

Awesome Nick, makes a nice centerpiece for Easter…the ultimate Easter basket 😊❤
I like it! Had a thought...after it dries add a colored layer around the rim, maybe two or three! Could be a fun affect for the rim.

I will never not watch you. You are amazing and I love you mate.
What a lovely bowl. A candy bowl perfect for candy or other sweets.
Cloudy because liquid resin dissolved some of the coating on the jelly beans. Really cool project!
Such an awesome looking bowl Nick great idea to use the jelly beans. and the technice you used also . 👏👏
It worked! Great job, Nick. Now you can make other funky bowls.
That bowl looks delicious but I didn't see any of my favorite, black jelly beans! Have you tried those tiny seed beads? Something with them might look awesome.

Great idea! I love Jelly Bellies! They are my fave! Awesome job, Nick!! ♥️♥️
Woohoo for Jelly Belly!
I have been to the factory in California. Love the bowl.
I think it came out awesome!
Nick, that looks awesome!
Watching the resin flow around the jelly beans - Jelly Belly, no less - belongs on one of those "oddly satisfying" videos!

A nice quick bowl nick. Turned out well. Keep on waffling.
Love the idea on the inside of the bowl if you rub a resin mix with gloves on and let it set brings back the clear finish
Love your videos, Nick. Your projects are always so interesting.
Lord Nick Zametti that was Brilliance
Love it! Super cool. Gum balls next? Maybe add a layer of colored resin halfway up? Can't wait to see what's next.

What a WONDERFUL bowl! It was a great idea, like last time but this time it worked!! Thanks Nick!
you should do something close to that with glass marbles .... that would look awesome !!!!!!!!
Cheer’s to you Lord Zammeti. Love your videos all of them. Thanks
I tried but I’m not sure I did it right.
