I’ve got that Makita saw too just without the Bluetooth. I learned a new term too- rattle gun. I like it. I’m gonna use that to throw off friends at work, they’re used to hearing “impact”! 👍

Just came across this video nice set up now i can see how some people may think either you are a spoiled kid and mumma and daddy bought you everything
But the apprentice wages these days are far better now and with hard work and dedication I can see someone achieving this so far into there apprenticeship
So who cares what people think or there negative comments do you bro grind away and my advice is set short term and long term goals the way your going bro you will definitely reach them goal and much more

Mate ,you make my 3rd year look hopeless ,as I was taught " one man= one set of tools" instead of, I use my tradies and abuse hand tools instead of buying myself or maybe mummy / daddy may for him , my 2nd year buys tools each week as he noes that you must have own good tools to be a fair tradie, good set up
Must pay well these days. Something to consider, have a sparky install a RCD board with two double powerpoints inside the trailer, with a caravan external point outside to connect power to from a 240 volt source. You can leave everything plugged in then and also be safe at the same time.

Man I'm in my second year, I just bought a ute, tool boxes, circy, drill set, guns, planer, sander, multitool, hammer drill, router, jigsaw, updated my tool belt and hand tools that cost me a fucking bomb pretty much all my savings, how do u have a better setup then my boss in ur second year man, I gotta know
A lot of my tools were actually passed down to me from my dad bro. The Ute and trailer and a decent majority of the tools in there are mine, I would also most times work on my weekends aswell for other builders for cash
There’s a makita cordless coffee maker its awesome highly recommended for use and store next to microwave

Hey mate! Your trailer is nuts!! What draw slides did you use? It seems you have a bit of weight in them and full extended and still looks solid!! I'm about to deck my trailer out but unsure on a decent draw slides! Would be muchly appreciated!!
Hey bro, these ones at 1500 mm long locking draw slides rated up to 225kg per pair. Not sure what shop would sell them for you I definitely know Bunnings has a massive selection of all sized slides tho

What sort of screws did you use to fix the draw slide to ur draw on the big draws?
Just some small timber pan head screws, and to attach to the outside walls I used some bolts and lock nuts

Pretty much any Bunnings should have them
I wonder why trades people in other countries (usually European, NZ, Australia etc) always go with the small trailers/vans and in the US/Canada they go with the bigger 6'-8.5' trailers. At first I thought it might be the much older cities and, therefore, skinnier roads but that only makes sense in some countries. The traders people in all other countries, regardless of infrastructure requirements, use these tiny trailers. Why not step up to a 6x10 or 7x12? So much more room and isn't that much more difficult to manage.
where can I find the tracks for the drawers?
Bunnings should have some Goliath drawer slides but they have to be fixed with support underneath if your going like 1m or longer. Otherwise you can buy super good quality ones online

Yeah they were about $250 for a pair so about $500 total for all of them. And I’m not too sure what brand they were bro, maybe Goliath

If you think you can go and hire a young bloke and talk about him being uslesss on the internet your just a bad employee and good luck with getting a handout from the apprentice like you expect from him. He does make you money in the end and the better you treat them the better they become....... I go off experience

Hey news flash, don’t buy everything at once. It’s something that is expected over time. And by the 3rd or 4th year they should pretty much have everything needed to do any jobs. I don’t know where u got this idea that as soon as an apprentice is hired they should go buy everything at once
All that work and he couldn’t cut a couple of bits of alloy angle to fit the p plate on nicely, just use a couple of bits of duct tape.
