Thank you for this video, I just started my own business doing remodeling Two years ago and I’m trying to figure out how to do something similar to my trailer. Definitely I learned a lot with your video. Thank you so much!
That's really cool! I like the ideas thar you come up with in the tool trailer. I just operate a small Handyman Service in my hometown, but, my trailer is not set up as elaborate as what you're doing. Great job!
For me, the ideas in th-cam.com/users/postUgkxAfqpMLyFn37qcqUl0FAzqkkycQeXqrhP Plans were a starting point for building different sheds . Ryan gives ideas that allow an individual to draw nicest conclusions into the design and building of his or her own shed.
Thanks for the info on Andy Glass, after looking at his Instagram, I realized he's only an hour south of me. Defiantly going to be giving him a call to get some racks ordered.
@ 6:30 im curious to see your correction to the obvious problem your going to have with all the drawers sliding out and the packouts bouncing around and coming out of their recievers and landing on the floor of the trailer
It only has to work for you, Kyle. I'm left handed and I can see a few things I would change to suit, but not many and not much. A plumber's tools are a bit different, but using space wisely is the name of the game- you win! Kudos fro better carpentry then this plumber did too! I also cheated and used some big slide out drawers on the floor as bonus spaces. It made a big E350 van a little "crouchy" to get into and out of, but it gave me the space to keep the middle floor clear for materials, so I seldom needed a trailer. If I had to do it again, I might like your stand up and make it happen pattern better! The next time you insure the trailer make sure you list a value for the interior- I got hit in the rear and it trashed my floor drawers and because they weren't listed "options" I was unable to get full insurance value. FR
Are you taking in to consideration the fact that one good hard turn or bump and a lot of those shelves will go rolling open. I would consider some sort of brace bar to slide in to secure things on the road.
Any drunk driver who sideswipes that trailer is going to get a nasty shock at the insurance bill! Sweet work - I hope it gives you many years of service for the thought you've put into it.
1/2” plywood for the lower section and 3/4” plywood for the upper section? Must have stops for every opening. While driving things move and get damaged. I am fussy so in mine I add a few more details and creature comforts. Need a clean area for making tea and coffee. Definitely storage for a change of clothes when it rains or you get dirty. Add a plastic bin for muddy boots. Add a couple folding stools for changing boots. Somewhere a wash up station to clean up a bit before driving home.
Kyle go to Menards or home Depot or Lowes and grab a PVC pipe big enough for to put all your stabela tools inside of it and you can get the PVC pipe with the treaded ends to put a cap on each end so your stabela tools won't go all out install the PVC pipe on the wall inside your trailer it will help you out.
I think you will be surprised when you pull that trailer for a day or two. How do you keep the drawers from sliding out. I had a trailer with slanted shelves for Little Debbie and Sunbelt treats that took years to get dialed in to keep boxes on the shelves. Good luck, I hope it works. Maybe have Greg put you in the trailer and drive slow so you can see how much the trailer rocks and sways.
Coming together nice man. You are gonna love it once everything has it's place. Nothing better then going in your truck/ trailer and knowing exactly where the item is you are in there for. It will change over time as you work out of it but it only get better from here. Enjoy..and happy building!
I love how you guys are taking your day to day skills and applying them into this trailer build. Awesome content and just drool over this setup, love the work boys and looks very professional and nicely assembled. Very clean
Hey Kyle I got a question for you! When do you charge all your batteries? Specific day? or when every single one goes dead because you have a ton of batteries!
I bought all ridgid boxes when they first came out and the crates that lock on. And I used to keep all my caulk in one but hated when it wasn't full bc they would fall all over so I cut a piece of 3/4 ply to fit inside and then laid out hole's with just enough meat left so it was still durable and drilled out with a hole saw..went a little overboard but also hit them with a round over bit. Then put a couple raiser blocks under it so it sits like midway in tbe crate. I love it..I forget how many it holds but it's really more then I need to have on hand. But I never get in a pinch bc I don't have something and when I know it's dropping below freezing I just grab the crate and bring it inside.
Love it man. Great work. I work for a Concrete Flatwork crew and we have worked out of a 6x12 enclosed trailer for 13 years. This year we are going to invest in a new 8.5x16 enclosed tool trailer and we are planning on doing something like what you are setting up. Can't wait to see it finished.
I love the Packouts on drawer slides. I built the exact same thing last summer for my shop. It has been a total game-changer. And when I need to make a call outside my shop I can just stack whatever Packout cases I need to carry for that job. By the way, most of all my jobs are mainly in-shop.
What is the screw/drill you used for the assembly? Is that an electric screwdriver? What's the value of using that over a standard drill on a low clutch setting?
@Dr. Michael Johnson Jr ? 3:10...3:41 Greg is literally squaring them up to the face. Not sure why you would think they're angled. Plus, when Kyle shows them off at 6:10, they just sit there (leveled), as opposed to rolling back in - which would actually be a nuisance really. I'm guessing there will be some kind of stopper pin of sorts...that's what I would install.
So Happy my Bonster Woodcraft sticker didn't get covered up in the top left corner. Lol. Looking great Kyle!!
Bro its alot of work man. I am so proud of you.Thsnkyou. Genuine Knowledge is a hard one to put a word on. So glad to see. Keep up the good work.
Two words.. Ron Paulk. Guy is a mobile tool trailer legend. Lookin good
He over thinks things 🤯
I've seen his trailers and other stuff he does. I think he makes it way to complicated.

I really enjoy watching you work. Reminds me of the way I like to do things
By far the best tool trailer video. You always take pride in your work and I like that you did not cut corners on your trailer. Great job.
Seeing you use that M12 drill so much convinced me to buy one
The M12's have excellent battery life they say
Me too, love the 90 degree adapter
............ And I thought Norm Abram had a tool for everything. Awesome fit out dude 👌🏻
9:30 - I always set my Kreg bit stop a little shorter so I can worry less about the screw popping through the face.

Old mate’s trailer is the size of my entire workshop. Giving me some ideas of how I could reorganise.
That trigger control is on point 👌🏻
he straight up has a CNC route all this. and likely makes a killing. thats sick
Nice job on the work Trailer.

@@GlassImpressions Sold my last van six years ago when I retired! But I would if I was doing another! FR
When the plywood in the trailer is worth more than the trailer lol. I love the pack out shelves to the point i might go buy a set.
Spent $500 on plywood
Looks good Kyle. Thanks for sharing. 👍😁

I wish we didnt have to decide between feeding our family or buying a piece of plywood these days lol

Hi Kyle! Watched all your videos. So when can you come to Southern Idaho and build my 80' X 50' Post Frame home?
Enjoyed the show
Top shelf build man! 😂
Nice trailer. Great job.
Looks great!
Add 4 3' caps screwed to the saw blade holder and the plastic jars 6' deep can hold nuts, washers, self bolting screws etc.
Hey think about using some abs pipe for the caulking tubes

great job man. Looks good.
everything in the right place 💯👍👏👏👏 hi Kyle
Very nice! Cool trailer!
Kyle how about PVC pipe to store your caulk tube like other person have done. Nice trailer build out.
They make pocket hole precut dowels. A pack of 50, some wood glue, and a pull saw will make for a sexy finish!
2:13 Insert 90's sitcom laugh track
You need to check out Stealthmounts for battery storage & chargers
you should also spray all the plywood with some shellac so you can clean and wipe it off in the future
I like it a lot !!!!!! Thank you for sharing
They sell 3d printed milwaukee battery holders they are pretty cool so you can store your batteries on the wall

Love the build. Maybe a small vice for tool maintenance on the work top??👍
That is incredible
SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!! Kyle u the man!
Name of the tune around 5:30?
Question, you where using a drill, I didn’t recognize your drill because of the unique design. Not a normal drill. Looks awesome, great work.
Where'd you get that small drill? That thing is sick.

I think the coby could be a slide out battery holder.
Great stuff. You planning on hanging ladders from the ceiling or some other solution?

Just found your channel through Matt Risingers video.... Killer job you guys are doing fellas!
