I don’t know if you get this a lot but your informative, friendly and professional episodes has made me calmer in my projects. Hope that makes sense! The very best to you for 2020.

    Hi Scott,
    Thumbs up on your vlogs!
I found that putting my powertools and tools (i dont need often on the jobsite) in my van shelf without the case. This gives me a lot more room in the van. This room can be used to store more tools or materials. My van layout is different though. I have a verticaal shelf on the left side to store powertools, some handtools and the battery tools i dont use often. On the right side of the van a small shelf to store screws and nails. My allday use handtools and battery tools are in 2 toughsystemcases with a trolley. Trolley in put in the middle of the van :)
    Regards from Holland,

I have the flooring done, was glad to see an update particularly the back stop that I can incorporate, a pull feature, paint instead of carpet, totally dig the pullout sections below the "drawer". Great design my man. Funny my last project some of the wood was from new Zealand Im in Indiana. Cheers mate!

Hey Scott, I know that you love the systainers, but if you got rid of them you would have 75% more storage space. I used to have everything in it's factory case, but had a temper tantrum one day and fired them all in the bin. Best thing I ever did. Now I have a couple of totes with wheels that I load up with what I need for the job, and have tons of space for more tools! Merry Christmas from Calgary, Canada.

I just ordered a product called Decked for my f150. It’s a heavy duty plastic unit with 2 drawers and a plastic top. Very strong, but now I’m thinking custom will be a lot better. The drawers can be the size of my tools, even little cubbies for things like levels.
Only thing is the Decked units are weather resistant. With a custom solution I would still need to use my truck bed cover.

This kind of rails are very common here in Europe. However, whenever you have some heavy drawer it is always recommended to use two pairs per drawer and distribute the load.
Of course when looking at specs they are pretty much always ok for normal applications but it does not say how long are they going to last.
Also, deflection (down) is always gonna be smaller when using two rails.
It would be really interesting seeing how much the face of the drawer drops down compared to the line when it was fully seated within the van. Laser level would do just fine for that measurement.

    Hey Scott,
I couldn't help but notice that you don't have any self centering hinge drill bits. They usually come in a pack of 4. You get a 2.0, 2.5, 3.5 & a 4.0mm bit allowing you to install drawer slides all the way upto installing fire doors.
Next time Gaston (I think I'm spelling it right) is in town ask him to grab you a set & try them out, they've made my life as a handyman a breeze when fitting new doors & kitchen drawers.
    👍
