  • Well, this winter, I found myself with some downtime. Due to a rotator cuff surgery, I had the time to research how I can make my tool trailer more organized, more efficient, and less toll on my body. due to lifting heavy boxes every day. day in and day out and a good nudge from my helper. I decided it best to give it another remodel. That's when I found Ron Paulks' channel and was inspired by many ideas. I then looked up the best way to draw up cabinets and came across sketch up. I proceeded to learn the software and integrate it with 3D software for my son's oculous quest. 2. Now, that was pretty cool. (stay tuned for a future video) 3d Scaled model I could walk through and make adjustments. really blew my own mind during this process. Anyway, before I digress, I picked up a track saw so I could modify my labor, but in the long run, I needed the help of an apprentice. With their help, we completed this buildout in 4 days. If you like what you see here, don't forget to smash that sub button! Don't hesitate to reach out if you have a question, and God bless!

BEST TRAILER I HAVE SEEN online or in person - puts the rests to shame! Like a BOSS - when I saw the rolling wheels on the shelf / door - don't need more strength for the small light brushes, supplies, etc. Also, TAPE roll dispenser - simple and holds a lot and VISUAL - just look up and there is all the tape - and you standardized on blue tape. For the cordless tools - cut a slot on the top - drop a bar from the top to lock in tools and attach a string - lift bar, let go - or from bottom - add a magnet.

That’s one impressive trailer build. Move the hinges on that fridge over to the left & your setup is 100%.

You said you were going to insert an Amazon link for the battery holders but I didn’t see one. Nice setup in your trailer btw…nicely done!!!

That little trailer is well stocked and I like that you set your hard limits on pushing into the other trades.

13:08 - Very smart to incorporate other people's proven ideas like the tape measure and tape holders and Ron Paulk shelving system makes this a smart trailer. Admire the time you invested to make this happen - I learned sketch-up and feel I have a decent handle on it after about 300 hours or use! Also, impressed with the outlets inside & out and the sink - for a cleaning station. Really nice not to have to pick & choose what you 'think' you will need and just haul the trailer preloaded.

Thank you. Much appreciated. Definitely lots of time in research and learning the tools to get the job done. It's definitely a rolling jobsite. Drop it and the guys then run for materials.

Nice use of space. I setup 2 miter saws in mine and love it. Need more drawer space as you have though.

Great Video- Thanks! You mentioned posting where you got the battery hold downs? Nice that it is a small trailer design. Ron's trailers are huge. What about Security? Do you have an alarm or GPS tracker in there? Ron mentioned making the tongue of the trailer removable so that thieves wouldn't steal the whole trailer

I have a GPS tracker hidden in it. Tracks in real time the second it's bumped. Then I can just send the link to the police.

    Awesome job!
Love the work friendly design. I have basically the same trailer. I’m planning on doing something similar. My trailer is also a single axle, are you concerned about weight? Have you weighed yours full? I got a deal on my trailer as well, still wished I had held out for tandem axle due to weight concerns. I’ll be hauling mine back n forth long distances (800 miles). Great job and I would love your thoughts on it and making everything lighter 👍

Thanks for the comment, and yes, I have definitely had some concerns with weight. I have not weighed it full, but it's definitely over. I plan on putting a new axle with 5 leafsprings. It should give me a little room to wiggle, but all in all, when I do it again, I'll go with a 6x12 tandem or 6x14 tandem. Anything bigger is too hard to get in and out of sites, plus finding parking can be a challenge. The tandem axles should give me the additional capacity I need.....lol 😆

      Thanks!
The weight is the reason I’ve decided to go with multiple mobile tool cases I can mount to walls (packout etc). Should really keep weight down and when I sell trailer I can just mount in shop!
      Great work 👍

Where is your power supply station?

    • @alexanderannunziata7734
      @alexanderannunziata7734  3 วันที่ผ่านมา

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by that, but there is a double battery charging station on the end of the top left cabinet near the gate. The trailer itself just plugs into an extension cord. If your reference is to some kind of solar setup, I have definitely looked into it. Would only fit 4 panels on the roof. 450 watts each would give me an 1800-watt system. Not enough to charge batteries and power the fridge or run a tool. The battery backup would be way too heavy and too much space to make it feasible, so the only option is a generator. If we start nailing down some off grid jobs, I'll have to get one. Thanks for the comment.

@alexanderannunziata7734 ooooooh I'm so dumb I didn't pay attention to the cord in the beginning. I thought your trailer was powered by some kind of battery/inverter set up.
