If its like mine, thats not the fuel pump you are hearing. Its for the breaks. Engines like this dont make enough vacuum pressure on their own to power the brakes

The last BBC we had on the rollers was a 572 with something like a 280/300 .790/.770 at 111 and that thing sounded like the world was ending lol. Of course it also didn’t make power until ~4000 RPM. Once it came on though it was a monster. This setup here seems like it would be much better for a fun street/strip setup.
