    One of the best colour grading tutorials I've ever watched, you covered more in 10 minutes than most tutorials cover in 30 minutes and it was a pleasure to watch!

    Nice work. I applied your CINE4 settings on my a6400 and bought your LUTs to support you. My videos are much more natural and I have much more control over my colours -- thank you! Keep doing you, Iceland guy, you're rockin' it.

    I just wanted to thank you for this. I've watched a lot of color grading videos and while they are good, your insights clicked with me in ways that other videos haven't and I was very pleased with my footage after following your process. Looking forward to watching more of your videos!

  •  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Hi, how do you expose CINE4 on camera? I've been using S-log2 and I use zebra in 107+. With CINE4 is the same?

  • @withronit
    @withronit 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hi, quick question how do you expose for cine4 as in do you have to over expose a bit like 0.3 or 0.7 or 1 stop like in HLG 2/3 ?

    Hi! Quick question, do you also keep the same Cine4 setting and use the same Luts for nighttime filming/indoor shoot?

    • @thaticelandicguy
      @thaticelandicguy  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      indoor yes, nighttime I don't really shoot anything nightrime - often wanted to do but never really gone out and done it. Maybe because it's so cold during night where I live lol?. But with indoors it's obv different WB settings, I always use manual WB :)

    • @ThePianoNest
      @ThePianoNest 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      THAT ICELANDIC GUY. Ah I see, when shooting outside do you also use manual WB? So shooting with manual WB, all I need to do is juat matching the WB of my lighting with the WB in my camera, am I correct? So if I use color temperature of 5600k on my lighting, then I just set the White Balance on my camera 5600 as well, as simple as that?

    • @thaticelandicguy
      @thaticelandicguy  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ThePianoNest Yea I always do manual WB - else it will shift a lot and it sucks lol. Yea kinda - you can get a feel for what WB you should have in your room. I have a lamp with 5500 if I remeber correctly but I like to have my WB in the studio set at 5200-5300K so a tad cooler - but it's because I have orange lights and they bounce of a orange hue on me so I'm compensating for that.
      For outdoors the general rule of thumb is 5500k in sunny and 6500 in cloudy. But ofc that can be different. The more you do it the more you get the feeling for what K you should set. Then it just becomes second nature and easy :)

    • @thaticelandicguy
      @thaticelandicguy  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ThePianoNest Try a few different WB and see what's you like most and its best for your room :) Then you know and because the room is the same all the time then you never have to worry about it again.
