Good list; I would say you are a little heavy on the sportbikes, but as you are a track and sportbike rider, I'm not surprised. For Triumph, I would go with the Tiger 900 gt (I have one and love it), or you could go with their new Speed 400, such a sweet bike for $5K.

i have been riding a fz09 for 10 years, it had alot of quirks, some of them i was able to mod / tune out. just got an Mt10Sp, it is so unreal how much more refined it is. and the way that engine sounds? that crossplane 4 is the GOAT!!! it sounds like a freaking Mclaren when i take off.
Kind of unrelated but me and a friend were riding almost cross country from Colorado to new Hampshire. I was on my 2022 Ducati Xdiavel s and my buddy was on his 2017 BMW S1000RR. long story short he wrecked out in Illinois literally at our halfway mark because he was on cruise control stretching his leg when a massive gust of wind hit him pushing him into the rumble stripes taking the front end of the bike forcing him to bail on the pavement his backpack got cought yeeted him into a Ag irrigation ditch with a broken elbow, hand, foot. so next year we are both doing the exact same trip on sub $5000 goldwings.

He had quit riding some years before and I think he wanted to experience it vicariously through me...all I could say is "dad I think you are SEVERELY overestimating my income level..." Yeah I'd love one but they're starting out at about triple my budget... 😢
Man, I've ridden at Eagle's Canyon, and it is pretty crazy how much faster you get through corners on some of those bikes. That looked a lot like the first couple of turns at ECR on the MV Agusta.
As a reformed HD snob I used to scoff at the thought of owning a Goldwing but I've gotta say the new Goldwing is really appealing. Might just have to take a serious look at one in my near future.
I can't wait to be able to get a bike. Due to some issues with finances its not exactly within reach at the moment, and add nursing school on top of that and its really a pipe dream for now lol. Doing ridiculous amounts of research and even getting curious and diving into the mechanical side of things (which I was not previously even interested in) has really sold me on the idea of a bike much to my families collective chagrin
I do love my RS660. Me personally is lean way more towards the sporty end of the bike world than pretty much everything on this list but to each their own.

RC390 is a cool little bike, I had one, but it really needs to be punched out to 490. Or at the very least updated with the new '24 390 Duke engine. But KTM's "Best"? No way. That title rightfully belongs to the 1390 SD-R, not even close. Second to that would be their 690 SM.
He's wrong about the Hayabusa. The Hayabusa is designed to mimic the high speed dive of the fastest animal in the world, the peregrine falcon. The result is that the Busa is the most aerodynamic motorcycle in the world. Very functional design, taking cues from nature. Make the Hayabusa the absolute most beautiful motorcycle ever created. 隼!

The harley pan america has one major flaw. Its kickstand is attached to the engine case. Not the frame. Imagine breaking it off, how much work you're looking at.

I would agree 100% with that that line-up except the Triumph pick, which I would swap out for the Street Triple 765 RS! Hold judgement on the Harley though, never been into them, at all. Nothing wrong with Chinese bikes, as long as you're getting the ones where the manufacture didn't choose all the worst parts to produce the cheapest bike possible, even so, with those bikes just swap out all the engine bolts to decent bolts and they will run forever with good maintenance, so yes they can be a good bike if you know how to fix bikes and make the necessary adjustments on components (Take the cheaper bike and put the expensive parts on to get an expensive bike for cheaper). That said, get one that has been made with good parts then they are good bikes, I've seen a lot of decent motorbikes made in China, actually in China, but they have their main 2 motorcycles that everyone seems to use there LOL Also, most of the big brand motorcycles are all made in China now anyway, so no Japanese bikes are being made in Japan, very small percentage. All the products are coming from China's 2 big tycoon motorcycle factories. You can check where you bike is made just by checking the numbers on the frame and parts and trace back where your bike came from, you will be surprised to find most of your bikes aren't from the country you think they are from. One step further, you can literally get a motorcycle designed and made to your own spec entirely if you can get into contact with the right people from China's motorcycle tycoons for cheaper than the price of a BMW S1K, Kawasaki H2 etc. might be something you want to look into Yammie! Design your own bike and get it made to spec
I agree with the whole HD thing, though imo the PanAm is the worst out of all the big ADVs, which is why I'd get a LW1. the RE Guerrillia is, from what I've heard, better than the Triumph 400s
I must disagree with your take on Suzuki’s only standout rides are the Busa and SV 650. While those are both great bikes, but they are not the only iconic models Suzuki built. Did we forget the K5 GSXR 1000, arguably one of the absolute best litre bikes of all time.
I think you missed Moto Guzzi, and especially their absolutely great Mandello V100. Shame! It's one of the 2 bikes I fell in love with, ever since I test rode them earlier this year. The other one is the Indian FTR1200 - which of course you bailed it.
As much as I'd like to own, or at least make love to, a Kawasaki H2, the list was kind of polarizing. Perhaps a best bike, and, the second-best bike video? Must include Versys 300x.. ha ha just kidding!!!

As an owner of RS660, I agree. This bike is surprisingly cool, versatile AND the price is very reasonable for all the suite you actually get.

I ride a Triumph 2018 Bonneville Speedmaster 1200 and its beautiful to ride , my favorite in fact , just purrs along , wonderful
I just sold my Bolt and got a Speedmaster. The speedmaster is amazing, except for the abysmal suspension.
