This was the first "rules" kind story that I've seen where the main character actually *tries* to follow the rules since the beginning, and the rule-breaking happens as honest mistakes instead of just being a show of defiance to having rules perse. Quite refreshing take on it, actually.

I've worked home health care and hospice for many years off and on and there usually isn't that many rules. Just common sense stuff really. Things like to respect the home and client/patient and their things. However, I have had several nights where I could feel a presence, didn't know if it were the spirit of my client/patient being unsettled and trying to see what was going on outside of their bedroom or perhaps the spirit of their Husband or Wife that had previously passed. But none the less, there was occasionally something there and at times I felt as though it was trying to prove my soul or mind or something. When this first happened I was taken aback and didn't know what to make of it, but after giving it some thought I realized what it probably was and resigned myself to the fact that they were also curious about me and what I was doing in their home, and how vulnerable they were to be the victim of whatever a person could do to them or their home and things. So after some consideration I decided to let whatever was there know my intentions. I would tell it (in a whisper or mentally) that I respected Mr_____ or Mrs_______ and was there only to help them if needed. I meant no harm and wasn't going to take anything and would try to leave everything that I touched or used back exactly where it was previously. This became a routine with me. To go in with open and pure heart and I found that it got easier after the first time or two. Spirits can really leave the body and roam around the house if they intend to, and the person doesn't have to be deceased for that to happen. Some people call it astral traveling. It's understandable, just think about it. And then sometimes you feel a spirit that isn't there to check you out, instead it's there for the client/patient so they can become accustomed to being around it, so when the time comes to cross over, they aren't alone. Some people call this the angel of death. I did a video on that topic once and had many people email me their thoughts and experiences. So being a 'sitter' for someone in their home that is wheelchair bound or bed bound isn't as easy as it sounds...the stories I could tell. LOL but this isn't my channel so I won't. Stay safe out there!

Not being much of a "rules" fan normally, the superb narration of this made me love it! The expression, emotion, voices, and everything else about it was SO well done it was like being right there in the house with him!! This was also extremely well written and rather uniquely presented by NewAgeSolution. Thank you both for an amazing experience!!

Sounds like mr tweaguge's home is paranormal chaos,at best!! Our home has also been haunted to the extreme ,for many years..by many different types of entities. I have put down, out loud ground rules for them to follow..the good helping spirits are always respectful ..tho the malicious ones never follow any rules..ever. and they have injured me in many different ways..I myself have been haunted since I was little..and I have spent many years learning how to protect myself,as the good spirits are also doing the same..constantly..because the good spirits here are also being assaulted, terrorized over and over..its heartbreaking..that they can be brutalized and murdered..and still are being assaulted,or hunted after they died in the 1st place.. being safe is a myth..we are never safe,as long as there is so many evil forces in the world..safety is only what your spirit can create for itself..when 2 of my passed on family members have been kidnapped by evil entities, after they died..what safty?? Where is it?? We have never been truly safe our whole lives. I know its sad, dissconcerting ,even angering..tho once we accepted it..we made emmense more progress together with the spiritual& living family members.

OK, this sounds like a routine possession that's gone on for a good 25 years.
Anyone who's had a stroke and SURVIVED more than 15 years is well within the minority, but there are certain parts of his routine that interest me.
Namely, the headphones he's required to wear before bed. That could be recorded chants or rituals meant to re-enforce the binding the demon has on this particular victim... and yes, it IS a demon causing this to happen. Also, much like ANY other entity, a demon requires sustenance, which takes the form of any unlucky soul that happens to take this job. The corporation that the REAL Mr. Tweague owned(, which is now firmly within the control of this entity possessing him,) will dispose of the body and coverup any foul play once the feeding has bees successful. These rules aren't so much a "Stay Alive if you do this" way of doing things, but rather a way to make the victim more susceptible to a "feeding possession."
See... demons aren't "REAL" and I mean that in the way of they aren't able to manifest themselves in OUR reality physically, but they CAN alter our perceptions and take us over the more "susceptible" we are to their influence.. In other words, the more they can scare us, the easier we are to possess.
If you can recognize their influence for what it really is... ILLUSIONS... then YOU become the predator to THIER prey. The problem is that they can make some EXTREMELY realistic illusions, and not just visual... auditory, smell, and even somatic, IF you have been sufficiently scared by the time they attempt it. Illusion is even the way they kill; they induce a heart attack by literally scaring their victim to death... but ONLY if they can convince the victim that the illusions are real.

In 22 minutes you have managed to woo me, thrill me, excite me, take me on a trip so macabre that it’s unbelievable that anyone can do it!!.. the adventure of mr. tweague and what went on in there is something that’ll not @ all be easily forgotten and that caretaker’s travails is something worthy of a novel adaptation or even a movie!!.. excellent and passionate narration, I could imagine myself being in mr. tweague’s house, undergoing all the travails what the caretaker underwent and experiencing the macabre in all its full glory, as it had to be experienced!!.. brilliant and hats off to the narrator!!.. deserve more than just a round of applause!!.

This is pretty much all old people and their lists of rules! I knew a lady was a carer and she had all kinds of stories. She had one old lady who had her go banging the windows to scare off an owl she called a "wicked beast" who kept her awake. She should also bang the glass if the 'bad' cat showed up -the vicious one who made a racket -but *not* if it was the 'good' cat, who was a dear that got rid of mice and scared easily.
