The people who live in HOAs usually want the dumb rules. The people who live in those ugly houses, chose to buy them. It makes no sense to us, but people want this. You don't accidentally spend a quarter mil on a house you didn't want.
I wouldn't live in an HOA even if they PAID me to. One of my friends lives in one and the rules are insane. He's had certified shitheads measuring his grass with a wooden ruler. Or the fact that his daughter can't invite more than 2 friends under 30 to her barbecue.

The Rules stories are quickly becoming my favorite genre of creepypasta. They scratch such a satisfying part of my brain. Great narration as always, LH! 💙

YES! Since my TBI less than a year ago I have issues as well because I was blunt-force struck in my left temporal lobe area. These stories are helping keep me sane lol.

I really like it when narrators include themselves in the video. It just seems to me that it makes the story more engaging. The statue being so perfect down to the smallest detail made me think of Medusa. Could this creature be something like a male version of her? Nah, it kills the immersion and makes it more like you're getting an explanation than a narration. It's usually best when narrators keep their identities private, similar to radio hosts. This kind of reminds me of Wayne's World 2 when they meet Handsome Dan the radio dj, and it totally kills the idea they had of him the moment they laid eyes on him...lol! Video Killed Radio Star.... That song was written for a reason. A lot of people aren't gonna like this. I certainly don't. And he's not the only one who's done this lately either. He should create a second channel for this kind of crap.

I've seen more than my fair share of weird houses. Like this one that was a cross between "the house that Jack built" and "built it all by myself while tripping on acid" where there was a house that had a separate apartment on the 3rd floor that was only accessible via a staircase from the 1st floor (on the left side) and another apartment on the right side that was on the 1st floor only accessible by a staircase from the 2nd floor's left side. I never understood the rationale behind any of that. In other words, there was an apartment on the ground floor that you couldn't get into from ground level! Like, WHY?!?! This was in Beřovice, Czech Republic, not far from Slany.

Your voice has an emotive quality that really lends itself to this genre. when the character's are distressed you really make them sound distressed. The words you emphasize, your tempo and rhythm, and the character voices you make, they all make for a consistently spectacular performance. The quality of stories you choose to narrate is always excellent. Of all the horror narrators I've listened to, you're the one i eagerly click on when i see a new entry. By far my favourite horror narrator.

I can understand both opinions as well but.. the majority of times people watch these in playlists to sleep, work, etc. I sleep to narrations too but if a video isn't at least 2 hours long I watch them while working instead of sleep. I think compilations every few months are a good idea to compile them for people. My point is...many times I'm not even looking at thr screen. Most are not...if he wasn't on the screen it would just be a Screensaver background. So I think with this type of content people can choose to watch or not...but everyone can listen. I'm supportive of people breaking free from their comfort zones and also experimenting with new ways of creating. I think it's a smart and brave move what he is doing. I don't think he needed to prove it to anyone. It's completely obvious he's no AI..his voice is so expressive.
I don't like it. It feels more like an oration than a narration now when he does this live in person crap. It's better when people who do narrations like this keep their identities private. Similar to radio hosts. This reminds me of Wayne's World 2 when they met Handsome Dan, the radio DJ...lol!
@gimmethepinkelephant3685 I see a lot of people on both sides of it. I can understand both opinions as well but.. the majority of times people watch these in playlists to sleep, work, etc. I sleep to narrations too but if a video isn't at least 2 hours long I watch them while working instead of sleep. I think compilations every few months are a good idea to compile them for people. My point is...many times I'm not even looking at thr screen. Most are not...if he wasn't on the screen it would just be a Screensaver background. So I think with this type of content people can choose to watch or not...but everyone can listen. I'm supportive of people breaking free from their comfort zones and also experimenting with new ways of creating. I think it's a smart and brave move what he is doing.
