Hope you guys look forward for whats to come! Make sure to sign the petition below for a chance for the music is to get in game! Maybe we can convince the dev team to have competitions for fan made chase music to be in game! That way it's fair game for all. Considering the devs did it for cosmetics, music doesn't seem much of a stretch right?

Frank's feels like he's thinking about what he's gonna do when he catches you. Julie's feels like she knows what she's gonna do.
Probably. Julie is a bit more determined. Intimidating? Well, I'd say Frank is more intimidating, knowing he kinda made Julie this way.
Julie's definitely more of a sociopath than Frank, though. Frank just kinda hates everyone, Julie seems to have a superiority compex on top of that- she deserves better and she knows it.
@@somegirlnamedkat3929 That's true. Frank though is pretty much a manipulator and gave Julie the chance to kill people when she obviously should've avoided that for her own good. Frank pretty much glorified her strength and convinced her that she can be and is a killer. Since she's stuck to that false persona for so long in such an isolated area, she didn't hesitate to believe it.
@Murv I think that's implied, yes, but still doesn't really change anything with what I'm trying to say here. The devs don't really care much about the legion and their backstory.. I hope they fix it up.

Tbh, every member of Legion deserved an individual chase music (diferrent from each other and made under the description of their personal music mixtape; at least in their POV)

OR it can be a dynamic song. Both playing at the same tempo. If you chose 2 songs, both songs overlap and it plays a new sounding song
but that would be obvious to know which addon is the killer run as a survivor
@@KuronekoKenichi the music would be just for the killer. The cassette tapes typically require headphones to use, if used in a portable music playing device.
The chase music could still be the same tho
I love how while it's calmer and more restrained, there's still that frenzied and feral edge to the track, especially when it gets closer and into the chase. And it's amazing.

This is what the Legion sounds like at their core; distorted punk/metal for punk teens who did something wrong, couldn't back out and became addicted. Good killer or not, I still really like the Legion's character background. Can't wait for Joey and Susie's theme!

Much less frenetic than Frank's version. More ominous-sounding too, particularly from the Killer's POV.
there’s more restraint to this one- more control! it def fits julie, id imagine she’s just as lethal as frank- just less sloppy.

@@hannahbg1852 well technically. julie has always been dreaming of becoming a serial killer. she wanted it bad. frank was just someone who gave her the chance to live the wild life shes always wanted. so it goes both ways - they kinda manipulated each other but, not in a bad way. i mean, killing isnt good but by "not in a bad way" i mean that neither was against it. honeslty in their expanded lore it almost seems like julie is the true leader of the legion, like shes the one who was the most bloodthirsty... but maybe frank was just pretending to be a fish and let julie be the fisher but in reality he also wanted to go down the same road.

He's told her that she could do whatever she wanted when she was with him. That Ormond could be all theirs. He's made her to be the killer she's wanted to be. Julie was isolated in Ormond and didn't feel like she fit in such an isolated area. It's no wonder she got so bored and designed a deadly persona. Frank saw this and, wanting to create a gang of murderers, took that as a chance of warping her into a killer. Julie is still bad, but i think she would've been better off without Frank. Same goes with Joey and Susie. They were troubled kids who met Frank and he worsened them.

I like the feel comparison. Frank's feels like he's going to do it as fast and brutally as possible. Julie's sounds like she knows what she's going to do, but is going to make it as fun for her as possible
I said this before and I'll say it again.
When using one of the mixtapes, it should add music to the background when in feral frenzy. At a low volume tho so it doesnt distract from gameplay

Deathslinger doesn't need a new chase theme his is great the fan chase themes are generally for killers who don't have one

@@critzshorts3170 I listened to Legion's chase themes, with and without mixtapes, and it feels so good to rock out to them!
Frank is basically the leader, tells the others what to do, and a big jerk to others, he wants the world to suffer for the hand of life he was given, his theme really hits that home
Julie thinks the same sort of, but the way she thinks is that killing others isn’t a necessary evil, it’s just a way to show that she knows best, and wants everyone to know that she’s the best, and in that regard in the entity’s realm, it’d be she wants to be the best killer… Julies theme is perfect for that, she has her entire plan calculated and knows how to kill you, and she wants you to know it
I really hope he makes a theme for Joey and Susie
Joeys could start off sort of quiet and hesitant, but then as it goes on it gets darker and more determined, although Joey isn’t very angry, he’s determined and puts his friends over himself, even though Frank and Julie are complete psychopaths. Joey will take the opportunity to kill someone if it means the group will accept him
Susies could actually be quiet, but get noticeably progressively louder, because deep down (like Joey) she doesn’t want to be a killer, but the way her friends make it seem, she starts to believe them and wants to follow them in their lifestyle, until the point to where she’s no better than Frank or Julie

I think the devs should let you change the music things like how you can change the icons for the items and characters ofcourse it would only be for pc but it would be nice

Sooo good. Horror metal is a hard genre to do correctly. Particularly because blending unease with aggression is not something easy to do.

Another great track for Legion.
Although I think it should be mixed like Frank's, i.e. (in the actual "chase" section) bring the guitars up and turn the brass down a little bit.
(Personally I feel like it should use the same motif as well, but again, this is still great)
The way it sits right now *does* fit in well with the already in-game chase themes though.

DBD developers have never stated if they'll release fan made music. One of the devs did say it would be cool. Otherwise this is just a try
I very much doubt it. Why bother paying someone from the outside if you can get your own audio team to make it? Even if it ends up being inferior to a fan made one.
