@@cheesebooba i dont think you're ever gonna learn what the purple guy's name is, im also not entirely sure that purple guy is actually springtrap, that's all speculation based on minimal evidence. the thing about Scott (the creator of Fnaf) is that he intentionally leaves everything vague and posts things to intentionally confuse people. as explaining every single little detail of lore about a work you made isnt really that fun.

FNaF just exploited the most basic commodities of horror - big scary things that pop up and scream at you every once in a while. It worked in the birth of horror movies and games and just horror in general, and it still works now. Yet, on the other hand, it dabbles in things that are actually scary. Creepy ambience. A feeling of dread. Claustrophobia. You don't know when they'll get to you, you just know they will. And that's what's truly horrifying about it.
The community does an even better job at that - scary "found footage" videos in the form of old-ass VHS tapes. People like Squimpus McGrimpus excel at it, and it's what makes FNaF so scary in the first place.
Just because it's a big cacophony of robot animals that were designed for children's entertainment doesn't mean it isn't any scarier than a tall faceless man in a suit or a skinless dog or whatever the fuck you happen to be scared of.
Oh, yeah, and I forgot to mention; it's supposed to be a "cheesy" horror game, because it's set almost entirely in pizzerias. Pretty sure the entire franchise was satire at one point, so the horror is meant to be taken with a grain or two of salt when not directly shown to be serious.
@@andrewarnold2450 I do agree the community does a better job. I think Scott is trying to improve upon the fear factor and not just jump scares. Like, fnaf VR went well!
@@wubbysalmon6568 Exactly. Not very many people actually try to play the games anymore to see if it's scary or not, because that same community that is better at being scary than FNaF ultimately just watered it down and painted it as some frilly baby's game for whoever wasn't involved.

This is a different kind of horror, this is genuinely scary, especially with his menacing stare, the music makes it feel like there is impending doom, almost as if there's an inevitability and no matter what you do you can't escape.
The others are fantastic as well and I absolutely love them but, this... This is horror, there is absolutely no sense of humanity whatsoever, no pleasure like The Legion, no curiosity like The Doctor, no anger like The Hillbilly or obsessions like Myers or The Clown...
There is absolutely no emotion at all within Springtrap nor the music and that's what makes it truly terrifying.

With this music and the cold stare Springtrap gives, the dead face, there is no emotion whatsoever.
Wow... this is actually really creepy, especially his chase music. It doesn't feel like the other killers, it doesn't feel like you're escaping a person. It feels like you're escaping a thing. Some horrifying, unknown thing that you know if it catches you, it will do horrific things to you.
It doesn't feel composed like the other chase musics, it just feels like pure, unbridled terror as you run for your life.
Spring trap is sort of still a person. A dead rotting one in a suit that’s pierced almost all his organs and even replaced some completely

Well he is a serial murderer of kids who got trapped in the suit that he used that many years ago to lure them, it's kinda creepy by itself.
He also caused the death of his daughter and at least one of his sons (even tho he is immortal?) , and probably the death of his wife too.
He also created robots to torture kids boiling them to death, starving them to death, decapitating, etc.
He also tried to kill his 'immortal son' several times when he was already trapped in the suit. (FNAF 3 and 6)
So yeah I guess his story is kinda creepy by itself as I said at the beggining.

Springtrap is the only licensed character I want frankly, I'm sorry but for as bad a rap as FNAF gets. I would KILL to see Springtrap make his way to DbD. He's the only character from FNaF that could even exist in DbD lore wise.
I genuinely don't get the bad wrap for the game, tbh. It's mature in it's story and while, it's a bit excessive I think it's a good example of taking a small concept and running with it. The community itself is questionable and the 'shipping' is kinda out there but in terms of lore, I think it's good. For the record, I have had Nightmare as my pfp for years now and I am too lazy to change it, not a FNAF fanatic but I enjoy the games

William Afton wasn’t always this way. He’d been pushed, his mental state failing, but he did not regret his choice.
Growing up William had always had an affinity for Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. All his birthdays all his parties, he’d spend there. His first job was there, and he never quit. He worked his way up and eventually became the manager for his local restaurant. But even he had noticed how things had changed; none fore the better. He knew what to do bring attention to his pizzeria; murder. His desire to make his pizzeria grow, expand and flourish caused his mind to break. He lured children, customers, to the back where he slaughtered them. 5 at first. Then more and more.
Yet his restaurant did not flourish. It was shut down and reopened, losing quality every time. Already broken, his mind filled with one emotion; rage. Taunted by the apparitions of the children he butchered, he fled to a back room, where he found the disguise he killed them in: a golden bunny suit. Fearing for his own skin, he fled into the suit, unaware of the moisture within the suit that caused the mechanisms within to collapse, crushing him within. As the spring locks penetrate his skin, his blood flowing out, a cold fog gathers around him. He felt no pain from the locks, only rage. Rage that the fog desired. An unspoken agreement was passed, and William Afton was never found.
Power: Haunted Rage
The Entity has chosen you, but even it is not free from your anger.
Special Ability: Untamed Wrath
Hold M2 to charge untamed wrath. After 15 seconds(addon can reduce the time) you become unrestricted from the entity for 30 seconds, increasing noise made by your footsteps, reduces terror radius to zero, can vault pallets at 50% speed, can down survivors instantly, vault faster, and suffer from reduced stun duration, but suffer from reduced movement speed by 3%, cannot break doors, pallets, damage generators or pick up survivors. After the duration of Untamed Wrath, the entity punishes you, blocking movement and sight for 10 seconds. Untamed Wrath has a cool down of 45 seconds.
Special Ability: Mechanical Fright
Press the Active Button next to an unregressing generator to apply a spring lock guard to it. The next survivor to begin repairing the generator has the spring locks attached to them. The next time they would leave the generator the spring locks fail and the survivor is faced with three difficult skill checks. If any are failed the survivor enters the injured state. If the survivor is injured the deep wound stays effect is applied instead for 6 seconds. If all three skillchecks are successful, the spring locks deactivate and the generator gains a bonus 5% repair. This effect is not applied if the generator is completed. A spring lock fail will cause the survivor to scream and reveal their location to you.

Your rage has pushed you towards a single goal, one after another.
You become obsessed with one survivor. That survivor suffers from the oblivious and blindness status effects. A successful hit on the obsession grants a bonus healing speed of 15% for survivors for 30/20/10 seconds.
Childish Temptation:
Your previous killings have made you skilled at preying on the weak.
Injured survivors in your terror radius suffer from the broken status effect. Survivors outside of your terror radius gain a bonus 5/3/1% repair, sabotage and search speeds. Reduces terror radius by 10m.
Trusted Employee:
The manager seemed so determined to improve the place, nobody would have guessed that he was the reason it was getting shut down.
This perk starts with 2/3/5 tokens. When your aura would be revealed to a survivor, this perk loses a token, and the auras of all other survivors are revealed instead. You gain the undetectable stays effect for 4/6/10 seconds.
Add ons decrease entity punishment and charge time for Untamed Wrath, and decrease repair bonus for Mechanical Fright.
Red add ons:
Bloody hand crank:
The original hand crank used on the golden bunny suit. It’s covered in blood.
Disables the Untamed Wrath ability. When a survivor is affected by the spring locks, they are faced with two tremendously difficult counterclockwise skillchecks. Failing at any causes the generator to explode and all survivors at the generator to enter the injured state, and if injured the deep wound status effect is applied for 6 seconds. The survivor with spring locks attached to them enters the dying state.
Clean Purple Uniform:
The uniform worn at the time of the murders. No blood is left on it, all on the suit.
Disabled the Mechanical Fright ability. Reduces movement speed to 105%. Once Untamed Wrath is active it does not deactivate for the duration of the trial. Increases vaulting speed by 100%. Scratch marks are not visible to you. The volume of grunts of pain are increased by 25%. You gain the ability to hook survivors during Untamed Wrath. After a survivor has entered the struggle state, you can kill them.
Memento Mori:
He lifts the survivor up to his mask and opens it and bites their head, then holds them by their throat and stuffs them into a suit. The Mori ends by the face of the suit opening and revealing the dead survivor.

On the surface, it might sound like a silly idea to add in a FNAF character into DBD, but when you really think abt it, Springtrap would fit right in. A deranged man, who killed innocent children for *years* before finally being trapped in a spring lock grave. But, despite his imprisonment, his thirst for blood is not sated and he still wants more. I feel like that's just the kind of person the Entity would want. There would be no need to torture or mutilate him, like some of the other killers. He'd just...fit.

From all the Chase Musics made for Springtrap, this is probably my favourite.
It's So creepy and works so well with Springtrap instead of being just random generic mechanical sounds.

I like how the "chase" portion is a mix of the music box and the repeated sounds of grinding, stomping metal. The beginning of "chase" also sounds like a loop of breaking spring locks.

The failing of his restaurant chain due to various tragic accidents pushed William closer and closer to the brink of madness. That is, until one fateful night. Tying up the loose ends he left, his past confronted him directly, and soon he was to become the latest and greatest in Fazbear Entertainment's long, horrific string of tragic accidents._
_Yet even death could not shake him, and for many long years, William was left to rot, trapped and alone within a suit of his own design. Years later, when he was rescued, he saw with his own eyes how his once-prosperous franchise had been twisted, bastardized, much like he had used it to lure his victims. 1:19 I love how the percussion slowly goes from making eerie sounds to making a rhythmic beat at the start of the theme for the chase between Springtrap and all the survivors where the terror radius is at 7-0 meters. EDIT: De facto, I adore it, it is so crazy sounding, I can't get enough of it, my favorite!

gotta say it, of all chase fan made songs about ST, this is the most accurate, you didn't take the industrial approach like everyone else did, you used the essence of this killer.

What is Freddy to do with springtrap? It just doesn’t add up with the lore.
Perhaps instead of Freddy's laugh, make it Springtrap's groan.
^ I mean, if the map is Fazbear’s fright, it would be creepy if they added additional ambience like Freddy’s laugh, Balloon Boy’s voice, Puppet’s music, all the small audio cues from the original games.

The chase music near the end actually gave me anxiety. My heart started beating so fast and i felt an impending doom. Please devs, let this be in the game.

The game's sounds, static, beeps, William breath and minigames fits soooo well with each other... Damn, if Springtrap come to DBD i reeeeeaally want that they made something like that, serious.
You know... i really like this theme, you did well (i am a bit late but I'll still compliment you). This theme, unlike many other actually uses noises from the games, from across the franchise. This theme makes sure you KNOW who that is, it makes sure you remember. And that's why i like it so much. Well done.

The scariest part about this chase music is it starts out with loud banging, and then it picks up the pace to x4 its original. It sounds like he's running after you. Plus the music box in the background. Creepy as all hell!

This is my favorite take on the music for Springtrap. Love how the sound design calls back to the 3rd game, probably my favorite entry in the whole FNaF franchise. (and holy shit the chase music actually made my back get tight and start to tingle. THAT'S impressive work)

Even after 2k hours in this game, hearing this would make me fuck up badly during a chase. This right here would put pressure on anyone.
I love the progression of this theme, and how it ties into the source material. Unlike the other tracks, this one is more ambience than melodical, and that makes it all the more terrifying. And the contrast from the beginning to the chase really nails down how FNAF 3 felt. It started with the main menu theme, albiet slightly remixed, but eventually progressed into the sounds of terror that working at Fazbear's Fright entailed: The blaring alarms of the systems uncontrollably shutting down, the heavy breathing from low oxygen, the chaotic music box that represents what once was and what could've been a joyful experience to all, and the rapid footsteps of Springtrap swiftly closing in on your position through the vents. It really nails the fear factor to a t.
I love Mr. Envy’s stuff, but after people started talking about adding my boi into DBD, I literally went straight back to playing the game again. I would LOVE to see Springtrap in the game! Oh, and one moar thing, my favorite chase music from you Envy is the Legion chase music. Keep up the good work my guy!

Alright, this has got to be the best fanmade music for Springtrap in DbD yet. It actually uses sounds and music from Fnaf 3, and not to mention, you can even hear the creepy music box faintly in the background! It actually sounds scary... gives me chills.

that would probably not be allowed, as it'd possibly be made unavailable in certain countries. he could maybe kill them and then rip off some part to use as remnant.

He would make a cool addition to the game because he has a good backstory, he has a scary appearence and has a lot options for his power and perks, but at the same time i think he can't make it into dbd because all the hate for fnaf without any specific reasons exept from FnAf bAD FNaf fOr KIdz

The more I think of Springtrap in dbd the more I see how well he fits in the game, and getting the license doesn't seem that difficult to get given that Scott is very nice to everyone and likes to talk to his community a lot

This is AMAZING! It has so much Fnaf inspiration that I wasn't expecting. Out off all the ones, this is my second favorite. (The Doctor one was the best.)
The Mori animation is just him menacingly standing in front to the survivor, then disappearing (with a sort of Wraith effect), zooms in on the dying survivor, then jump scaring them. Right as it ends, the screen goes staticky. Of course what would survivors not being moried see when the scream becomes static? Simple, he just stands back up slowly as the survivor hold their chest (implying that they had a heart attack)
Love this so much I can literally recognize every sound in this. It stays so true to the source!

The chase music sounds like his fucking footsteps it's horrifying. Sounds like he's literally running after you and an amplified heart beat. It's amazing and the more I see springtrap videos the more I want him.
I really, REALLY hope we can live in a day and age where Springtrap faces off against the likes of Leon Kennedy, Ash Williams, Bill Overbeck and Cheryl Mason/Jill Valentine.

Something about this is fucking terrifying, maybe it's the way the music box is played along with the static sound in the background, I dont know, but something about this is very scary and uncomfortable, this would fit springtraps chase music, well done mate
i love the subtle sound of fabric and metal scraping past each other in the music! not only does it fit springtrap as a character, if you listen closely you can sort of hear the springlocks of the suit!! excellent job m8!
