The beastmen surprised me with how scary it was. The rapidly accelerating drum beats with the beastial screams, but worse than that - the dying down there for a second. Unlike the Skaven who have the numbers to not care and the Norsca who are too fanatic to stop, the Beastmen know when to back off and try again from a better position
God i wish we had more of this intense "youre gonna fucking die" music in Darktide. The OST already bangs beyond belief but im a sucker for good drum rolls like this

When i first started, all the enemys were the scariest, and the sound of grudge marked in the chaos wastes were INSANEly scary, but now i see them as so cool, and easy to kill

@@heistingcrusader_ad3223 They were busy during The End Times Like beating the crap out of Be'Lakor (it's happened during the end of the whole arc and Gotrek got into Chaos Wastes where he solos whole armies of chaos demons, and he lost own iconic axe then, in those wastes.... And there was slayer with only fists battling whole Chaos)
I remember one mission of wait what is it? the mission where you go to Ussingen I don't remember it's name. Anyway we had beastmen but the beginning of the horde fights constantly sounded even when there wasn't a horde on its way. It made the mission genuinely scary and a good bit more fun.

It would be a super sick mod if someone made it to where Hordes had all 3 factions be part of hordes simultaneously, and even mesh together into one unit, like as mixed horde. I dunno why, that just sounds awesome to me.
I think the beastmen would just kill the other 2 factions during the charge. It would be a cool image of all 3 charging into you while the rats don’t care who they kill, Norseman trampling rats and beastmen, and the beastmen just killing whatever is near them eventually getting to you
@@solidbagingo350 Exactly. You see the horde of rat and norsemen, expecting a standard mixed horde, then you see three bestigors charging through said horde intending to headbutt you in the dick. Would make some hordes even bigger too. Norseman/Rat Mixed hordes are already big because you've got two different hordes, but a third horde ontop of all that? Goodness.
Does anyone else feel like the hordes in VT2 go on a bit awkwardly long sometimes? Where you're like "..ok, I get it, lots of rats. Can we move on now?"
It's really rare and happens only with tough deeds and/or Twitchmode but when you have the 3 factions striking as one it's really epic ; you kill and smash rakis, northlanders and beasties in every direction ... It's also very deadly if you are not ready for a tough fight.

It's still amazing how they made each horde theme feel unique to the enemies you were fighting
The warcry before a skaven ambush is always makes my adrenaline just start pumping. Even more than hearing the horde moments before it hits.
