I bought one of these a few weeks ago for commuting / light travelling. Very impressed with the quality and practicality especially the security 'secret' pocket at the rear. Would thoroughly recommend this
Having had 3 kids through school (2 of them boys) I’m not sure I would want to spend this kind of money on a school bag! My boys bags in particular weren’t treated with the greatest of respect by them or their class mates 😆
@@mark_kelly I was thinking of getting one to use for everyday commute, but also to double as a school bag. But I agree, the price is quite steep. Thanks for the response!
@@lostinthevoid1521 Are you in the US? I’ve just had a thought that when you said ‘school’ you could be referring to college or even university. Sorry! Over here in the UK when we say school it generally means up until the age of 16.
I did enjoy hearing the clock bells! Good review. I generally don't carry much tech gear. We dayhike frequently and I have a standard pack that I carry for extra clothes, food and water. Cheers
I enjoyed the review. The price seems expensive when compared to multiple other "laptop" backpacks, that are also designed to keep your tech safe. I do however like the aesthetic, it looks great and more like a casual backpack, than a tech backpack.
Thanks and I appreciate your comment! I agree the aesthetic is fab and I’ve enjoyed using it over these past few weeks. I’ve found it stops my ramming my bag with all my gear when I don’t really need to. Helps the shoulders and back 😆
Great video! Liked and subbed. Definitely need to get one of these bags for my everyday carry. Also, really enjoyed the relaxed style outside - really peaceful vibe in this video. Thanks for the review!
If you close the strap, this is an additional layer of protection. So even if it's very filled up but you can close the hook from the top, that should hold the pressure back to open the zip. I think....
It’s holding up incredibly well! I use it daily and really appreciate it still. If there is a negative it’s that the straps hurt after a while under the arms. However I do walk quite far with it and possibly out too much weighty stuff in it so this doesn’t help. A sternum strap would rectify this a little I think!
@@mark_kelly I am contemplating this or their more extreme backpack which does have a sternum strap. but it’s nice to get an honest review with usage something I’m finding hard to get with their other backpack.
What disappointed me about the pricing is that out of the four colours, only the black coloured one costs £199. The rest are £139-149 I think that's ridiculous. All four are the exact same backpacks and should be priced the exact same. Mous pulled a page out of the apples book by pricing something more because of the colour
@@mark_kelly they pulled a page out of Tim Cooks book. Classic Apple move. It was a shame. I really wanted that black one, but did not think it was worth £50 more than the other three, just because of the different colour. There was a fathers day discount which took the price down to £160 but then again, the other three colours would also be 20% cheaper, so I respectfully had to pass I ended up going for the Fyro T22 backpack by Aaron Radcliffe of Nomads Nation. He spent almost 2 years building his own backpack and listening to feedback from the customers and he's built a pretty solid backpack. You should check that one out. The day it went live, for the first 24 hours, it costed $189, which was about £150 odd and retail is $285 so I'm glad I managed to pick one up for a discounted price

That’s great to hear! I’m still loving mine. What colour did you go for?
Do you think it could double as a school backpack? Would it fit books, a pencil case, and maybe a change of clothes too?

Enjoyed your review. I'm looking at getting one myself, so I was waiting for a review video to pop up.
Glad you liked it! 🤩
Hello, does this backpack have a false bottom for the laptop compartment? Thank you for the great video!
Hey thanks! Yes, the laptop won’t touch the actual bottom of the bag.
Hello there, does it have any room for clothes? 7 like a weekend out or so?
Thanks for the review.
Hello! I’d say at a push - yes, but not bulky stuff by any stretch. A weekend set of clothes at best.
I almost believed your intro 😂
Hehe!

I’d love to give that a go someday!

Awesome! Thank you! Appreciate the feedback too, must do more videos out in the Summer sun (at least while it lasts in the UK anyway 😆).
You convinced me enough to get it. Now I just have to save the bucks
Appreciate you taking time to comment. I hope you’re able to buy one soon 🤩
If it super filled to the brim, does the pressure from inside open the zip itself
Great question. I have “super filled” this and no probs! 😁
(Although I’m sure there is a limit 😆)

I didn’t notice that! A cheeky move.

when the backpack first came out, all four were priced at £139.99 and then suddenly one of them goes up by £60 and the other 3 by £10
