I picked up a Sony A6400, and find myself enjoying your videos whether its for products or not. Love the look, voice, and humor. Your energy can start a day! Do you do any other type of reviews Mark?
Agree. I have allot of their stuff and think it’s one of the best value products available for camera accessories. Very hard to get better in the price range they come in at. Of course there’s better quality products out there, but Ulanzi sometimes does make you consider the law of diminished returns with higher priced gear. Not sure about these backpacks. They look good, but lower end to me. Again, for the cost they likely get the job done if the job isn’t extreme. I can see them for street photography more than wild life. The quality is likely decent, just not premium.
why does it feel like I am watching those ancient TV shopping shows? 😊 but great energy :) I already have a pac safe backpack but I might get one of those for travel because of those nice compartments.
I’ve been using the Ulanzi BP09 backpack for a month now, and here’s my quick take. 1. The zippers are a bit stiff, not as smooth as other brands like Pgytech or Peak Design, but not a dealbreaker. It takes away the premiumness of the bag though, maybe they get better with age? 2. The design is minimal and less bulky, with quality on par with most manufacturers, though it does get dustier quicker than Pgytech. 3. It's very compact, but the front pouches are tight, so if you need extra space, this might not be the best option. Overall, I’d rate it 8/10 for the price. If you can spend a bit more, there are more premium options out there but this is absolutely bang for the buck :)
nice video, just bought the smaller version. a quick question about the falcam clip 2, did you need to replace the lanyard with the longer one to be able to attach the camera clip to the backpack?
Hello! Thanks for the video. Ulanzi BP10. I need the depth of the bag to be around 7.5". Would you be able to measure the exact depth of the main compartment? Thanks in advance!
Perfect timing! I have the first version of the PM bag and it's way too big imo. And the "side access" was almost impossible to actually utilize with how the velcro lines up on the dividers. I went back to my Tarion Pro for "every day" stuff. But I've worn that one out quite a bit with traveling and just beating the crap out of it lol. I'll definitely be buying the BP10 (using your links of course, gotta get that $$$ lmao). Thanks for the great review! It's nice to see others reviewing stuff they actually love rather than just taking money and faking it lol.
My Onemo V1 inside is not sticky anymore. I just stepped up to Shimoda design for comfort but way too big for an urban city. Good to know Unalzi makes a cheaper version for Pgytech I can grab without thinking much.
The BP09 looks a lot like the PGYTECH OneMo Style backpacks. I personally have the 35l OneMo 2 and I love it. It packs all my stuff, but can be a bit bulky at times. The BP09 looks a bit less bulky.
I have the original Onemo and the Onego. Love both but may consider the BP10 for overseas travel due to the easy access to an extra 10L for clothes and stuff.
I owe a very old Lowe pro bag which has a feature that is lacking here and concerns me deeply: zippers that live inside the storage areas all close into a “flap” of protective fabric that prevents the zippers metal from scratching my gear. Here, the zippers appear to just hang inside the camera and lenses area, inside the laptop or iPad area. This quite frankly gives me great pause. And since you mentioned the abundance of them, all the more so. Do you find that could be an issue?

Try the 3L Peak Design Everyday Sling because it can fit a ZV-E1 caged, a huge Sigma 24-70 2.8, batteries, SD cards, and a mic or secondary lens. You’ll not notice carrying it around because it’s so small. The best camera is the one you carry? Well, this comes closest to the convenience of a phone in your pocket.
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis First, I wanted to pack my whole camera backpack with ZV-E1 and ZV-E10 for Japan 2024, but then I thought I want a nice blend of enjoying my journey while taking great photos and videos, so I started looking for a solution that wouldn’t break my back and make long walks enjoyable. With one versatile camera that works 24h for both photos and videos without studio lighting or an extra flash, my choice was clear. Also, I avoided the temptation of the 6L bag because it would defeat the purpose. I went straight for the smallest, thus lightest package I could get.
I agree about the wonders of Ulanzi! But don’t you find the F38 backpack clip V2 holds the plate much looser than V1? I love the F38 system, but I was disappointed by the new design once I tried it.

I got my Bp09 3 days ago, I have everything peak design made😂 and some others, BP09 is amazing. And the price compared to my peak design gear and all inserts...the entire bag is the same price as a medium size camera cube from PD, very nice.
Almost was sold on the big one, but the big flaw is, like on the pgy tech, that the opening zipper for the Front case is under the the Extension zipper. So you allways have to unzip 2 when you wanna go Inside. Peter mckinnon did this better

Polar bears in the Serengeti swimming upstream 😂😂😂 really killed me as it's on the equator. Great bag review. You mention they didn't sponsor it but did they send the bags free or charge you for them? (Doesn't make a difference to me but some people care about full disclosure)
I thought I made it clear when I said that I asked for them to be sent over - but I probably could have stated it better. Many products are sent for review - those aren't sponsorships. TH-cam legal has very specific terms - and sponsorships are paid contracts between two parties. Most of the gear reviewers are sent is free - sometimes they are loaners for cameras and lenses - but things like bags and lights are usually sent out. Peak Design, PGYTech, and many others competing brands also send me their things.

I deal with both of them - they don’t appear to be related but you never know. the 22L ulanzi is definitely inspired by the onemo2. but ulanzi came out with camera straps recently and PGYTech came out with the same ones - so maybe they’re all related somehow or they target the same users - I can’t know for sure.

This channel is 100% now a shopping channel
all review channels are shopping channels. why else would anyone be watching product reviews. 😃
I have not bought anything yet, you show on this channel, but I still like to see your videos anyway
I currently use my phone only for photography, I have decided that I would buy my first camera only when I get to 1k followers on any platform
Buying is not a prerequisite - I'm just happy you watch 😀 Take your time and make good purchase decisions - the goal of 1000 subs before you buy is an awesome idea
Do you have any social media account on which you post photos?
Portfolio type photos?@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis
not really - but I’m putting something together now for a website and Instagram
The don't really look like camera bags. This is a positive in a... vibrant... environment like Toronto.
haha - Vibrant. I kid - but it actually just ranked the safest city in Canada in the most recent stats. Crazy!! I should just stop locking my doors 😂
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis Those stats are bogus. Small sample size for perception of safety. Not corrected for per capita. Likely adjusted for socioeconomic weighting. Diluted by including the entirety of the GTA. Keep locking em.
it actually was per capital, but they didn’t split up the offence into severity - so there’s not much point. but you know, canada is pretty safe, relatively speaking anyway. can’t complain 🤣
Nice! I need to get the strap mounts for my backpack. Awesome bags.
The BP-09 has some similiarities with the PGYTECH Onemo2. But $98 is just crazy lol
For sure. I almost bought the OneMo2. It definitely inspired the 22L Ulanzi.
Your Ulanzi is my FiFine 🤣
I LOVE FiFine!! They are the Ulanzi of mics. That’s on my license plate
the BP09 is only about $60 on Taobao which is insanely affordable for the quality
wow!!
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis all the ulanzi and falcam products on Taobao are about 30% cheaper than normal. I don’t live in China but I recently found out that they do support cross-border delivery which is really amazing.
it looks somewhat similar to pgytech onemo lite 22L
for sure
I wish they would sell those in EU. Anyway thanks for the video :)
Hopefully soon.
Can I take this to the Himalayas where I can take photos of the whale sharks as they fly to their nests? LOL 😂 Great review.
Anything is possible with this bag
I'm just realizing that Toronto has a lot of photographers, i don't run into fellow camera feens
Oh! You waited years for a rip off of Pgytech? Since they are cheaper, I understand why. Looks like Ulanzi and Pgytech are under the same umbrella company? Wondering...
I deal with both of them - they don’t appear to be related but you never know. the 22L ulanzi is definitely inspired by the onemo2. but ulanzi came out with camera straps recently and PGYTech came out with the same ones - so maybe they’re all related somehow or they target the same users - I can’t know for sure.
which is the name of the umbrella company?
Holy crap! It’s €238 in Amazon Europe 🥺🥺
it’s not available yet in Europe - so that’s a bunch of import fees. hopefully it will be shipped directly to europe soon
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis in deed. Fingers 🤞🏼 they will bring it soon at these kind of prices 😅
Actually, you can buy BP09 in China cost you less than USD60 right now 😂, really great price.
😮😮
From $98 US to $248 in Canada wow!!! Not gonna happen.
it’s not available on canada right now x so those are extra fees. when it is available in canada it will be much cheaper
The side access is on the wrong side! They entirely screwed it up. No way I am getting this backpack.
Can I use my wife's money? 😮
only if you don’t tell her I was involved
Весь груз в этом рюкзаке будет держаться на замке молнии? Нет спасибо...
It’s just a matter of not paying american companies :)
Four minutes into the video & you've said nothing. You talk to damn much.
