It makes sense why Sora is put into Smash above all others, Mario is the character that brings all the gaming universes together for Smash itself while Sora is the character that brings all the Disney Universes together, hence the handshake at the end of the character trailer. Say whatever you want about Sora, but it's a fitting final character. This is all ignoring the fact of how much of a legal nightmare it was for Nintendo to get this to work especially with the joint ownership of Sora and the Kingdom Hearts franchise between Disney and Square Enix, the fact that Disney threw their hat in for this is really huge for the franchise, massive kudos to the team of Smash for pulling this off.

X is actually right about James Bond from GoldenEye, and how he should be in smash. They almost put him in Melee, an item in melee is based off of GoldenEye, but they didn't have enough time, same with King Dedede and Sonic.
Have people really never played Kingdom hearts? Its a great game with a good story. I loved sitting on the floor back in like 2003 and playing this on the PS2, so many memories. Now when I say good story, its VERY convoluted and hard to follow with its lore sometimes but I like that, I get some might not.
I'm sure many have, there were enough in chat that liked it. The ones hating might stick out more, but they are in the minority (Also, many weren't born enough years before 2003 to be able to play)
The convoluted story part is basically what pulled me in as a kid, playing the KH franchise. There was so much room for fantasy, and I didn't critically analyze how the story was composed, it was just an experience. Being a kid really has its upsides, although forgetting a lot of those upsides once we get older is the biggest downside.

Marth is indeed an OG character, Ike has been there since brawl and Corrin‘s and Robbin‘s movesets are unique enough to keep. Roy is technically an OG too but removing him wouldn’t hurt the game and would free up space for more unique characters. Lucina should be a skin for Ike, not wasting space for the same character. Chrom and byleth should be removed altogether imo

The rest of his/her moveset is standard pseudo-sword, nothing unique. Ike or Chrom would both fit the heavy swordsman option so either would be good. Lucina, a skin for Ike??? Lucina is literally Marth, she should be a skin for Marth that has no tipper, that would be good.

Sora is the perfect ending for the smash roster, especially after so many, in my opinion, disappointing pics like most of the fire emblem characters. I would've picked someone like crash any damn day of the week over some random ass bs character like Byleth, yet another copy of all the others lol
i love fire emblem, and i hate the FE characters in smash. they chose ONLY sword users, and they put 3 "custom" characters with very little personality (corrin robin byleth) over unique characters with other weapons and full personalities. just kinda weird marketing used to promote new FE games i feel. Sora is dope tho and looks mad fun

Marth is indeed an OG character, Ike has been there since brawl and Corrin‘s and Robbin‘s movesets are unique enough to keep. Roy is technically an OG too but removing him wouldn’t hurt the game and would free up space for more unique characters. Lucina should be a skin for Ike, not wasting space for the same character. Chrom and byleth should be removed altogether imo
@@Noel_Tamura Byleth is way more unique than Corrin. Corrin only has neutral B and down B that is anything unique, and Sephiroth also has the latter which is much better. The rest of his/her moveset is standard pseudo-sword, nothing unique. Ike or Chrom would both fit the heavy swordsman option so either would be good. Lucina, a skin for Ike??? Lucina is literally Marth, she should be a skin for Marth that has no tipper, that would be good.
