Still waiting for the Wheel Bearings How to Video.....for the manual locking hub especially. Getting ready to do and a video from you all would be super fantastic!
THIS! This solved a huge mystery for me. My C clip wasn't in there, likely from a PO's lack of attention. But when I tried to put one in, the axle shaft was covered by the outer and I figured maybe mine just didn't use one. Then I re-watched this and the tip about going to the U joint and putting pressure on the axle outwards to gain access to the C clip slot was just what the DR ordered. Gracias Amigos!
Great content. Wish such a video would have been available a few years ago when I got a lot of practice with these. I learned all the how not to do it ways with a pair of the auto locks. They somehow still work despite my antics.
Thanks for making this! Replacing my hubs next weekend. I have front and rear disc brakes on the way for my 1970 scout 800A. Any chance you would be willing to make a video on drum to disc conversion?
Oofda! Unfortunately with our limited time and resources were trying to hit the high level mass tech. But who knows we may have to slap that on the list for later.
Love the vids guys! Curious when y’all plan to release the wheel bearings one🤟🏽...and how to know they are bad? Gotta tackle those on Mr. Feeny😉 #texascruiser

Hey can you guys make some more of these videos, they really really help.
most definitely. We have a looong list of tech to go over!
I haven't been able to find that "wheel bearing" tech tip video anywhere. did you do one?
Just what I need bro...Awesome video....thanks so much.
Glad to help!
Very informative. Thank you.
great info but I'd use a rubber mallet instead of a hammer
True. A rubber mallet or brass hammer would be ideal, but if you take it easy and don't hit the mounting surfaces a hammer can work fine.
What size is the hex nut socket for the Warren locking hub?
My Scout has the IH branded hubs where the entire end of the hub rotates, are these interchangeable with the IH/Warn style?
How about showing 'How to intall Plastic (inner-outer) parts for Sport Doors !
