Disconnecting the power cord from the wall and holding down the Power button for 6 seconds fixed it for me! Thank you!!! Saved me hundreds of dollars trying to bring someone out to fix it for me :)

Hi, my machine have the error code f7e1, we replaced the actuator, but still not work, someone came then they said the motor need to be replace, can you show uz how to replace, our model ia wtw6120hw2 whirlpool. Thank you for your spending time.
Hi Brian . I have a code F7E1 on my Whirpool model WTW4950XW2. I replace the actuator, calibrate the machine but the problem still there. No spinning. I try the motor individually without any belt and and hey work. When i i put the belt back on, the motor was making a noise but never move at all. I was suspecting the capacitor. Before replacing that part , i make a test with screwdriver and i saw a spark. Do you think i should replace the capacitor anyway ? Do you recommande me something else? Thank for your help and thank for your videos. Very instructive !!

Great Video, love your work, but I've got a different issue... not sure what to do at this point. So I tried the tachometer test and it worked, so I replaced it anyway with another one... but the light fails each time the washer runs a cycle and won't unlock without cycling the power... any ideas what's next? I've already tried the lid lock test as well and it passed....and... I've also purchased a used capacitor and that didn't fix it either. F7 E1 error

@@Appliancevideo thanks, I think I found the issue... seems the hub was stripped, so the basket wasn't spinning with the wash plate, that was a hard one to find a video on.
I’m not chasing my tail on a junk washer. . I will never purchase another whirlpool or any washer connected to this manufacturer again. . This washer belongs in the city dump.
I replaced the actuator and the capacitor but still get the same code. The basket spins freely no noise or grinding. The basket spins for a couple of seconds and then throughs the code.

Hi Zelda-187 Léo I am having that exact same issue. What did you do to fix the problem? Was it a main control issue?
what was your final fix ? I am going after the shift actuator on mine soon.

A stripped drive basket hub will also cause the F7 E1 error code
My basket spins freely, no “hummm”, hub looks okay……..I’m lost 😖
@@MrDrocballer ...If you're getting the F7 E1 error code, have you checked your belt, splutch / clutch pulley, and motor pulley?

Same fault code but different component issue. Could you put the tech sheet links in the description?
I like the background music
