I’ve been dating Sarah for a while, and every time we go out to eat, she orders something exotic, doesn’t like it, and wants to swap plates with me. Predictably, she didn’t like her dish and asked to swap, so we did. But when she tasted my pasta, she was shocked-it was just as strong and unusual as her risotto. She didn’t like that either, and for once, she had to stick with her bad choice. By the end of the night, she finally admitted how frustrating this habit of hers was, and we laughed it off, hoping things would change next time.
