My lighting looks bad at first but at about 7:00 which is the actual dip application it gets better! ALSO, I hurt my cuticles while filing but they heal so don’t make a big deal lol😅
about u not being a nail tech...lol. cause ur lingo and all the instructions are beyond everything one needs to know. if this is what research does, who the heck needs nail school. girl these are pro instructions and application. great video. thank you!
I’ve watched several of these videos & honestly yours is the best! Thanks so much for taking the time and going through all the steps! After watching yours, I’m confident that I can do this. 😊 Again, thanks so much!
You have changed the game. I want to do this to my nails. I’m 33 weeks pregnant and I don’t have the time to sit and wait and spend all this money on getting this done when I can learn myself
Watch more then! One it’s called dip for a reason! Also a dehydrator should have been used!! And you shouldn’t do one nail at a time they need to dry some!!
I don't know if anyone has given you this tip yet since its been months you've posted this video, but the sanding band that you use can be made softer it doesn't cut up your cuticles! Just run the top of nail band low speed against your nail file it smooths it out so it doest cut your cuticles :)
Hey girl hey! I just got my nails done at a salon. Mine came out beautiful, I got an ombre pretty light pink and white. I came across your video, and you have inspired me to start doing my own nails. I could save big money. I probably, no wait not probably, I will continue to get my pedis from the salon, because I love the pampering of my feet and the massage chairs, and also at my salon, they offer free drinks, juice, beer, wine, and water of your choice. But keep up the good work. I have subscribed to your channel. Your video was very thorough. I will be using your list of items to purchase. Will update with comment once I try. Wish me well. :)
I just followed along and they turned out so cute! Thank you!💜 it’s my second time trying, the first time I only followed the paper instructions and it was so ugly lol
That color is so beautiful 😍 I’m currently waiting for my dip powder set to arrive to start doing my own nails. I was afraid of the e-file but I think you changed my views on it. It looks so easy to use and saves time. How long did it take to do this set?
Idk if it’s me but I’m wondering did you just take a set off or do you need diff tools/polish because after looking it seemed as though your cuticle area is irritated on only 1 hand ? Or filing too roughly on your hand? These types thing help with me not doing the wrong things since sensitive skin is a thing
Great video! I just wanted to know if dipping in a base 3x and then color 3x makes your nail too think? I’m trying to go for something strong but not thick. Ty!
I apologize if I missed this and if it’s a dumb question😩 but do you cure the nails in between each step of the dip. After you dip the middle part for the first step do you cure it, or do you finish the whole nail then cure it all at once ?
I am a licensed Nail tech And You shouldn't cut your cuticles. That was one of the first things I learned In school. They could tell I was cutting my cuticles.😂 That's what the oil is for. Overall, I think you did a Great Job!
What’s the difference between actually dipping the nail in the powder and pouring it over? Is one more sanitary than the other or is it a better application technique? Video is amazing btw 😍😍
Im not a professional but if you’re using the powder just for yourself then there’s no difference. If you have clients then pouring would be more sanitary but you would have to throw away the left over powder that falls on to the cap/container. I have a friend who does nails and she said she hates doing dip powder nails because it’s so wasteful so she stopped offering them to her clients.
I'm not a professional but dipping into the jar can sometimes cause bumps or ridges in the base underneath so I find pouring over to be better for application
It’s by the brand blossom for my cuticle oil and the brush im using is a face brush from Luxie but WetNWild also has good face brushes that can be used for dip & they’re like $2!
I want to try dip powder for me and my daughter (13) she's already tried the gel x. But, is this method better than acrylic because it's less chemicals?
This is how I remove mine: File off as much as you can without reaching your natural nail, then soak a cotton ball and place it on the nail and wrap it with foil (you can use regular foil from the kitchen, which is what I do), leave it for at least 10 minutes before you take it off, it will typically be soaked off by then, if not reapply and put another cotton ball and foil on. The cotton ball and foil method is by far the fastest way I’ve found to remove it. Soaking it in a bowl takes longer.
Amazing video! Question though, if I chose not to use the gel colour/top coat, how would I finish off the nail? Is there a dip top coat? Or just a top coat polish?
The kit comes with a top coat that is basically the same as the base. It’s just nail glue. Most ppl don’t like using it, and prefer a gel top coat. I definitely prefer the gel over the dip top coat. It’s an extra step, but it gives the nail such a nice shine and smooth finish. It can help cover up minor texture. Also, if you choose to go with the gel top coat, then do not buff the nail. Just file and go straight into the top coat, whereas if you use the one that came with the kit you’ll have to file, buff and then top coat. I use my top coat as base since it’s basically the same thing and it doesn’t go to waste lol
I need an expert opinion, I need help I can't find a solution. When I do dip nails on my clients I finish it up using base gel and top gel but my base seems to thicken up after just a couple of uses. Can you help me on why its doing that?
Do you wipe your base brush off on paper towel etc after using on the nail? ☺️ The brush may have excess powder on it which then gets put into the base polish
I brush off the excess dust off then I use activator then let it sit for about 3 minutes and wipe down with lent free wipe and start using my gel base then top base but my gel base after just several uses starts to thicken. Iv been doing nails for over 5yrs and only have this problem with dip nails.
Leslie Martinez tbh it depends on your patience level because the Kiara sky gelly tips are so quick and easy but dip powder is more work and filing!! I really like both but sometimes I’ll use the gelly tips cause I don’t wanna spend a lot of time doing dip powder 😊
You are so talented you could do nails professionally and charge people. Are you curing in between and not showing it? Or is it base coat dip activator dip repeat top coat?
My lighting looks bad at first but at about 7:00 which is the actual dip application it gets better! ALSO, I hurt my cuticles while filing but they heal so don’t make a big deal lol😅
I’m bad at cutting my cuticles 🥴as well but nice job on your nails.!!
Hi!!! I love your tutorial but I have a question... every time you applied the dip powder you didn't cure it with a lamp or did you?
about u not being a nail tech...lol. cause ur lingo and all the instructions are beyond everything one needs to know. if this is what research does, who the heck needs nail school. girl these are pro instructions and application. great video. thank you!
you really help me understand how to dip nails with tips i like how really go in detail with the each step
You are amazing! Such a great video, and so easy to follow!! Thank you!!!🥰🥰
I also have this Dremel and absolutely love it! My fave of each one I have!
I’ve watched several of these videos & honestly yours is the best! Thanks so much for taking the time and going through all the steps! After watching yours, I’m confident that I can do this. 😊 Again, thanks so much!

GIRL DEFINITELY A GAME CHANGER FR LATELY I'VE BEEN DOING MINE AND OOF THEY'RE BOMB AF😂😂💅💅💅🦄🦄NO MORE NAIL SALON
This is the best video I’ve seen on dip nails 💜💅🏿
Watch more then! One it’s called dip for a reason! Also a dehydrator should have been used!! And you shouldn’t do one nail at a time they need to dry some!!
This is next level dip powder for u. I've never seen it done like this. Wow . I'll have to watch this again when I can listen to audio .
I don't know if anyone has given you this tip yet since its been months you've posted this video, but the sanding band that you use can be made softer it doesn't cut up your cuticles! Just run the top of nail band low speed against your nail file it smooths it out so it doest cut your cuticles :)
Thank you! I actually saw that hack but have switched to a cuticle safety bit just to be safe lol 💕😩
@@CharlizePerez were the cuts on your cuticles from the safety band?
You could be a hand model
Amen !
These are beautiful!! Thank you for sharing and for your wonderful tips! Are these hard to remove?
you did such a great job!! ❤🔥
Luv luv luv this video. You explained everything perfectly. I’m going to do everything you did and pray my nails come out like yours did. Thank you 🙂

Hey how did it go? 😊
I just followed along and they turned out so cute! Thank you!💜 it’s my second time trying, the first time I only followed the paper instructions and it was so ugly lol
She makes this look easy honestly!
It ACTUALLY IS HUN
I’ve watched sooo many videos trying to figure out how to get the apex right and yours is my favorite!
Great job love the colour😊
I didn’t know you could put gel over dip!! Very cool! Love the finished look!
Loved the video and the pretty ballerina nails you did✨
You did a great job! This video is going to help me when I do my nails. Thank you!
I’m glad! Thank you💗
U did great 😍One of my fav natural colors to get !
Thank you so much! It’s one of my favs also 😍
if you hold the tips on the side where it’s glued to your nails while filing it helps keep them steady!
Wow i love it looks so pretty
They look beautiful 💕❤️💅🏽great job 😃
That color is so beautiful 😍 I’m currently waiting for my dip powder set to arrive to start doing my own nails. I was afraid of the e-file but I think you changed my views on it. It looks so easy to use and saves time. How long did it take to do this set?
Love this detailed video! Thank you!

Or filing too roughly on your hand? These types thing help with me not doing the wrong things since sensitive skin is a thing
I think the white background makes it really hard to see what you’re doing “/
I know sorry!! I’ll make sure to use a different color next time 😊
Very beautiful
Wait so the first dip powder you used was white? Can you skip the white and just do the color?
Best to use white first to make sure your nail is opaque. The colour will show better after
Really enjoyed this video it was very helpful and your nails are so pretty
Thank you so much!!
Inspired to do my own.. I love your videos..❤️🌹
Great video! I just wanted to know if dipping in a base 3x and then color 3x makes your nail too think? I’m trying to go for something strong but not thick. Ty!
I was thinking that too!
yup! I feel like if you aren’t putting tips on, then you should just put 2 coats at the most of each the base and color.
very cute nails love, just be gentle with the cuticles xoxo
Thank you. This was extremely detailed and very helpful
I apologize if I missed this and if it’s a dumb question😩 but do you cure the nails in between each step of the dip. After you dip the middle part for the first step do you cure it, or do you finish the whole nail then cure it all at once ?
U “cure” which is rlly applying the activator once you’re done with ALL your layers as the activator will harden it so u can file and shape
You go girl! You are so good & nailed your inspo shape 😍 you encourage me that I so can do this myself and with my daughters 💕
Best dip powder tutorial❣️
I am a licensed Nail tech And You shouldn't cut your cuticles. That was one of the first things I learned In school. They could tell I was cutting my cuticles.😂 That's what the oil is for. Overall, I think you did a Great Job!
Trying these out 🤍
I love this so much!!! But I would never have the patience!!!
But you did amazing
you did an excellent job on this set!
Thank you!🤍
do u think plastic nail tips are stronger for ur nails and last, or the more yellow thin nail tips for dip powder?
This is soo satisfying to watch even though I can’t follow most of this tutorial 😂😂
I couldn't figure out how to get that nice apex. Thanks!
What’s the difference between actually dipping the nail in the powder and pouring it over? Is one more sanitary than the other or is it a better application technique? Video is amazing btw 😍😍

I'm not a professional but dipping into the jar can sometimes cause bumps or ridges in the base underneath so I find pouring over to be better for application
It’s called dip for a reason!!! You could tell the coverage was better when she dipped vs pouring
Thank you, this has helped me so much 💞
I'm glad! :)
This tutorial is great
Hi!!! I love your tutorial but I have a question... every time you applied the dip powder you didn't cure it with a lamp or did you?
love it! can i use gel polish instead of a coloured powder?
Yes you sure can !!
hey girl what oil do you use for your cuticles? Also what brush do you use to remove the extra powder?
It’s by the brand blossom for my cuticle oil and the brush im using is a face brush from Luxie but WetNWild also has good face brushes that can be used for dip & they’re like $2!
So satisfying watching your nail vids 😍
😊 thank you
This video helped me so much!! Thankkkkss!!! 💕💕💕
What else could I use as a substitute for the seal?
Very beautiful
Such a good video, 🤩
I want to try dip powder for me and my daughter (13) she's already tried the gel x. But, is this method better than acrylic because it's less chemicals?
Very helpful 🥰thank you.
I really want to see you do your left hand!! ❤️❤️❤️
@Christina The Left Hand Is Always A Challenge On Video🙄Lol
Hey what camera do you use for recording! Love your videos probably!
Thank you! I use a Canon t7i :)
So informative! Love it!
Thank you!🤍
Any top coat I use on a light color yellows after 3 or 4 days .. any idea why?? I have beetle , modelones , gelish …
at 12:50 can I use gel polish instead for color? this has been the most helpful video! ❤️
Yes you can! I’ve done it before and it works perfectly but thank you I’m glad 😊✨
This was so helpful
U didnt use led/uv in between applications if base and dip powder??
Is it important how many rpms you’re using with the drill-bit?
Hi I have a question !! Do you have to use the bond before the base ??? Or is that optional ?
Could you do a tutorial on removing the powder without removing the tip? Can't seem to find how to do it
This is how I remove mine: File off as much as you can without reaching your natural nail, then soak a cotton ball and place it on the nail and wrap it with foil (you can use regular foil from the kitchen, which is what I do), leave it for at least 10 minutes before you take it off, it will typically be soaked off by then, if not reapply and put another cotton ball and foil on. The cotton ball and foil method is by far the fastest way I’ve found to remove it. Soaking it in a bowl takes longer.
you can’t.. or shouldn’t.. just put new tips on after you take it all off ^.^
Could you please use the different colour backgrounds 😊it’s hard to see clearly. Please ❤
Love the nail color!
Do these last long?
Girl really messed up her cuticles. Hahaha be gentle!!! It’s better to not cut them at all then to literally cut them😂😂
Easier said than done lol learning control of a nail drill takes practice thankfully cuticles heal 💅🏻
And when you learn how to do your own, sometimes you over do it! Lol I’ve been doing mine every week my cuticles are like help me!
Shit hurts and takes forever to heal
Can we use the dip as a acrylic?
Do you know approximately how many sets one could do this this sized dip powder? Thanks
Can I buff my nails instead of using nail drill?
Is nail base the same as base coat
Beautiful
what are the red marks?
Cuánto tiempo te duran?
How long do these nails last you?
How long it will last ?
Amazing video! Question though, if I chose not to use the gel colour/top coat, how would I finish off the nail? Is there a dip top coat? Or just a top coat polish?
The kit comes with a top coat that is basically the same as the base. It’s just nail glue. Most ppl don’t like using it, and prefer a gel top coat. I definitely prefer the gel over the dip top coat. Where did you get your pink cuticle cleaner tool?
It’s just a art dotting tool! You can find them on Amazon.
How do you remove the dip? Can you do a video
Great video!
So i
Can dip with acrylic powder
They look really bulky with all the dips you did. I assume we can do less dips?
Of course
Can you do a video on all those color swatches you shown?
Yes! 😊
My name is Erica.... that color is for me!!!!!!!
💚💚💚
You should have used dark towel so it’s more visible...
Thanks for sharing❤️
Lola Lola I agree but I only have white ! But thank you for watching 💗
Charlize Perez your nails r so pretty!
Are dip powders different from acrylic powder?
They're essentially the same except dip powder is more finely milled
I need an expert opinion, I need help I can't find a solution. When I do dip nails on my clients I finish it up using base gel and top gel but my base seems to thicken up after just a couple of uses. Can you help me on why its doing that?
Do you wipe your base brush off on paper towel etc after using on the nail? ☺️

😍😍
I just bought the kiara sky nail kit after your last video but now I kinda want to try dip too 😩 Which one do you recommend more? 💞
Leslie Martinez tbh it depends on your patience level because the Kiara sky gelly tips are so quick and easy but dip powder is more work and filing!! I really like both but sometimes I’ll use the gelly tips cause I don’t wanna spend a lot of time doing dip powder 😊
Kind of hard to see with the white background and lightening. But I like your prices.
You are so talented you could do nails professionally and charge people. Are you curing in between and not showing it? Or is it base coat dip activator dip repeat top coat?
You explained it pretty good, but it's really hard to see with the white towel
thanks
