    Great video. After wading through Tons of data from multiple sources, it seems like the only thing that really matters in shafts is flex, torque, weight and length of shaft. All of these other mid/high/low launch and spin claims don’t seem to hold a lot of water when you look at the numbers.

    Been fitted for my TS3 2 years ago and gaming the Tensei Blue also in my 4 wood and hybrid. Been gaming Aldila shafts up to this point but they seem to have disappeared now - there are still some tour player with their older shafts. My speed is around 95 (trending towards 100) so feel that is best fit for me at this moment

      I was fitted with the HAZ smoke RDX in 70gr for the TSi2 at the end of the fitting. Every individual swing needs a different shaft/head match based on their own swing. The wonderful thing of a personalized fitting. Most can't take the same shaft to another head and have it perform the same. My swing at 105 and yours, even if the same speed, could require a different shaft due to swing variables...

    TENSEI WHITE!!! Coming back to this video, as I am a cheapo & buy things on sale.
    Anyways, I bought a Tsi3 3W with the Tensei White Stiff shaft last year & I've honestly never loved a shaft / head more; so stable! My current driver is a Sim 2 Max with a Kuro Kage 60g Stiff (67g IRL, spins a ton with my gained speed & better swing changes). I recently went to a demo for Cobra & got fitted into the new HZRDUS Gen 4 Black X-Stiff 60g (true weight), which seems very similar spec-wise to the Tensei White (other than weight, which is fine, as I play 67g anyways & the HZRDUS did feel lighter).
    I'm looking at getting a Tsi3 driver used or on sale & I'm going to my local shop to try out their final stock to see which shaft is better, but man, the Tensei White feel so smooth & stable, it's most likely going to be an easy choice. Great video as usual!

    Great vid. I have the tsi3 8degree with hazardous rdx shaft and I love it so much. My swing speed is around 112-117mph. My last driver was 10.5 degree but I told the fitter I want low loft so I am forced to hit up on the ball. Seen a vid about it and it worked I no longer hit down on the ball and no longer spin the ball in the 5000 range. Spin now at 2200-2500 my angle of attack went from -4 to +2.8. Massive increase in distance and funny enough I hit it straighter. Don't get me wrong I still hit it into trouble but Its easier to get out of trouble close to the green

  • @johnk.atchley5079

    Really, really useful test. The shaft is perhaps more important than the head. It is the engine. If you like the look and sound of a head, that may be a good choice for you. But then the absolute key factor to test and settle on is what is the best shaft for that head and your swing. Thank you Michael.

    • @cheemomugdoo799
      @cheemomugdoo799 ปีที่แล้ว

      You are incorrect, the head is the most important. If it were the other way around, then most heads would perform similarly on the same shaft. The shaft is not the engine, this saying was created by someone just to sell shafts. You are the engine; the shaft is the transmission.

    Great video ! I got fitted for a TSi2 with HS Rad stiff and just couldn’t keep the ball in the fairways . Switched to the std HS regular and was able to keep the ball middle of the fairways. Another fitter then gave me a demo Kura Kahe Reg saying I would swing faster and further. Dispersion was similar but did not get the extra distance and that surprised me! There’s so much to getting it right.
