My tao tao rhino 250 looks exactly the same. I broke the clutch cable, replaced it and it acted like the clutch would not engage, it died as soon as i put in gear. I assumed a bad clutch, ordered it and replaced, and it is doing the same thing, dies when i pit it in gear. Any suggestions?
I just tried to doing and the cap was seized , I may or may not have beat the suspension to death with a hammer😅😅😅 I do have new forks now tho and I am happy 😂

I got a 929 rr cbr fireblade changed my oil like you did but in da mornings at times id get a lil drop of oil on da floor where you screw back da oil cap tank underneath before refilling shoyld i worry bout it????

The current set up now is 14 front and 37 or 39 rear, still a bit torquey. I was going to throw a 15 on the front and see what happens
are they quieter than stock?
Just a bit, it's more of a refined tone rather than loud. I liked it for what it was tbh

I got me one of those I think 40 or 50 piece terminal disconnect tools. It comes with all kinds of different pin removal pokers and all kinds of good little handy keys on it. Even has some round ones that look like a pop machine key or something but yeah best 12 bucks I spent in a while.
Lol just flip it around and reuse it good as new.

Where you get the 212 at? I was thinking about ordering one off ebay for 900. Is there a lot of modifications that need to be done to install the 212?
From ebay haha, it's not a bad motor. Has some power, I'd just recommend a different carb in the long run, one that comes with can suffice
Thanks for the video. How long are the forks? I walk to change the oil in mine as well. They’re 31” long from cap to center of the axel.

I need a jetting chart for a 26 mm carb on the 140
Cool bike. I think your rear spring is too soft. It's collapsed before you hit the table and it bucks you on the next jump. There was a bit of a kicker that day.
So i also have a 125cc no spark so i bought a 2 coil stator because that what i seen on it kid said it ran then sat. So my new 2 coil stator does not spark . What do i buy. Like should i try a 6 coil stator?
Buy an oem stator and harness kit off of amazon should be no more the 50-60 bucks
I have the same issue with oil in the exhaust valve cover. How do i correct this?
its not an issue having oil there as long as when you take it off theres not oil pouring out from where the valve is and leaking your good its a bowl on the bottom of the motor the oil when the motor is off as no way of getting out of that bowl, i just did my valves today no oil in the intake cover only exhaust and my motor has probably only 50-70 hours on it maybe less
So if the starter at least attempts to turn over, the kill switch is good? Asking because I got no spark...but the starter works.

@@workharder215 No expert here but I'll share what I learned from a month of my new Hawk not starting. First, my new **replacement** kill switch was wired backwards at the factory, so off meant run; run meant off. Discovered that totally by accident. Next, watch your wiring in the harness full of wires by the battery. There's a blue & white wire which is an igniter wire that tells the CDI when to fire. Also, check the red and black wire which receives power from the stator and make sure its connected. Hang in there...the biggest lesson I've learned with Hawk ownership is "one step forward, two steps back."

I just changed the oil in a MXU 250. I took off the other bolt that is more underneath the quad. A little oil came out but I'm not sure what it is. Gear oil maybe? The manual is not clear and I can't find any info on it.
Those exhausts are hard to come by nowadays, how’d you get them?

Does this engine have a wire coming out of the bottom case right below the exhaust port on the case? This is the first chinese motor I found that is what I can see so far the same as I have...I can't find any info on mine....mine has no Kickstart..it came out of a 4 wheeler that was shaft drive

Man I love that PING PING PING noise from a 500.
Thats funny i had the opposite problem on my pitbike, i noticed it was losing compression and when i checked the clearences, there was no gap! The rockers were holding the valves open at tdc. Had to back the screws out like 1 and a half turns to get the right clearance and got the compression right back up
That's definitely gotta be the most satisfying feeling lol!
@@builtbyk it definitely was, especially on my quad that had the same problem but that didn't have Kickstart only electric so I couldn't tell it was losing compression until one day it wouldn't start until I adjusted those clearances

Nice and simple, the tappet screws right back into place. If you lost the nut I'd take the tappet to home depot or lowes and find a nut that fits your threads

Yep it was the valves that was the issue
Not a good idea jumping on any pit bike 😅 Says in every pit manual DO NoT use for jumping Wasn’t designed for jumps nor was it designed to be chucked about like that 😅 also says in manual if u do something can catastrophically fail and you will be responsible not company, it’s a pit bike not a dirt bike

he has an 189 which is in the dirt bike class not pit bike but it looks really tiny for some reason

@@whoopti2faded77 you technically are right, I think in the super mini class (85-100cc 2 strokes ) they allow 150cc crf150r and a couple tracks I've been too allowed this specific model. But in minimoto nation and east coast mini moto series they consider this bike a "play bike" pit bike which only is air cooled vertical motors pretty much.
@@whoopti2faded77 I am also 6' 3" and 215lbs... so that may contribute to making it look small haha
Can that cause loss of compression, my inlet valve screw fell into head cylinder, got it out now but could this be problem bike only weeks old
That will definitely make the bike run off or hard to start. Definitely install it back in, had that happen to a quad of mine too. I'd try to put some loctite on the threads to secure the nut.
@@builtbyk did you lose compression ? It makes sense though as when I take inlet casing off the air of blowing out when kicking, all a learning a curve and good experience 👌 got one on way and got the tool for it so will help massively , also ordered new piston just incase but bike only 4 weeks old so hard to see it being piston, when I hit a ditch I heard tappet screw hit the cylinder and almost instantly cut and lost compression so I’m sure but so nerve racking 😭 so nervous I don’t even want to try it lol
@@connorwilson8078 thats a bit sus, If I remember correctly if my valve adjustment is too tight I would lose compression. With the whole thing missing I can't recall but wouldn't think much compression would be lost. Definitely a good idea to get a piston just in case. I'd also check cylinder wall if possible, sometimes the pit bike headgaskets go bad , but even hitting a ditch that wouldn't exactly cause that

@@builtbyk thankfully I think it was something wrong with my old molkt 26, since I have found out 4 faults out of 10 are being reported and Parker racing even stopped selling due to safety, it’s running amazing now and feels so much more powerful, replaced carb and air filter and seems good , tappets set 3&5, hopefully this is me sorted now

What did you use to get the stator off, I’m having a similar issue but on mine the sensor on the stator broke off
To get the big round magneto off you most likely will have to buy a puller tool for it, to the whole stator unit off is just a couple of Phillips head screws
I personally used 2 tire irons or crow bars on both sides with even pressure it’ll pop off.
I installed my nibbi 24mm yesterday after work. Primed it, started the engine and within 15 mins after adjusting air fuel mixture and idle speed. The float decided not to stop fuel 😅 So all the orifices in the nibbi started crying for me. I was so bummed, didn't even get to take it for a spin.
Had the exact one growing up... Found out that they float on water
