    Hi, i just purchased your pattern, watched your video and I have an awesome bag. You are a great teacher. Please keep making videos. P.S. I use chalk on the dark fabric to mark. Love, Carrie in Alaska

      That's always the intention 😉 I love bags that have a lot going on but are much easier than they seem 😊

      Exactly, it looks difficult. But is so much simpler. I would like to try making it with a recessed zipper. Do you think that would work.?

      @craftedbyleanne1549  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      yes it would work fine 🙂

    Ive been wanting to make a large tote and Ive seen pictures where others have made this bag and I loved them. Ive made clutches but not made them on my sewing machine.You make it look sew easy with your great instructions. Looking forward to purchasing this pattern. Are the pattern pieces all ready to print off or do I have to measure them myself ?

    • @craftedbyleanne1549
      @craftedbyleanne1549  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The angles pieces are to be printed and the rectangles are to be measured as most don't fit on a page. If you get in any trouble though pop me a message and I'll get something sorted for you to print off 😁

    I thoroughly enjoyed this tutorial! And you’re right, finishing the lining by turning it up through the zipper pocket is genius! Thank you so very much, you’ve inspired me.

    Does your machine struggle with the layers, I use a domestic singer and it struggled on the weekend, but I don't have the room for a full industrial machine. would you recommend the Singer Heavy Duty? How many layers do you usually sew in one go? Sorry for all the questions!

      I have made every pattern on the heavy duty so far and it has only struggled in a few places but I will be honest I've just invested in a HD9 so that I can sew everything.
      For the price it's great depending on how much you want to be sewing with it

    What is that metal piece, that you put at the end of the zipper called and where can I buy one.

    • @craftedbyleanne1549
      @craftedbyleanne1549  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's a zipper end, iget mine in the UK from the little British fabric shop. if you can't find one though you could always make one using folded fabric/vinyl
